  Having problems for local users, connection to a file and print server in one of my satellite offices.
  When my t1 connection is disrupted (problem of local carrier) my users when the connection is down to connect to the file room and print and always have access to their files and the local printer.
  The domain controller is off site in my main office.
  Environment:
  All local desktop clients are windows machines 7.
  Printing and local file is a windows 2003 server.
  DC is window 2008
  Note that we recently changed all 2003 to all domain controllers the PDC 2008, suspect that it may cause the problem, but just cannot know where it track.

  I would appreciate insight into what, if anything can be done at this stage.  I have not forgotten my password, but the connection does not accept it.  This laptop contains my info from the company.  Nobody else uses it.   I took the camera to Best Buy and has been remedied in 10 minutes. Through the use of a program that removes the password and allows sign-in normal.  For those of you who read this forum, I suggest strongly two things, first of all, do not use a password.  The Vista program locks after three attempts, and the restart process has no positive effect.  Then call the GS at Best Buy and talk about cure.  The rate was of $29,95 and work is guaranteed.  Technical support Dell cited $129.95 and could offer no warranty on their work.

  I recently had all our information from an old iMac that is transferred to a new iMac (transfer from the Mac store).  Now when I try to open Photoshop CS6 in the dock, get a response that says: error configuration and underneath "error: 16»   He also told to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop.  The problem is that somewhere in the past, the Adobe installer has been removed, so am not able to continue the process - so am unable to uninstall.  Appreciate any help.  Have not had problems before.

  I don't own a Mac and never have, so I uninstalled little to offer by way of how to get something on one.  If the vacuum cleaner does not recognize that you have CS6 installed there are two things I could think that I would consider - 1) just try to reinstall CS6 2) just delete whatever it is, you can find from the CS6 and try to reinstall.  The second option is the least recommended from my point of view, I don't know what could be the impact, but I don't think trying the first would hurt a lot... it could just get setup in place and then offer you the option to uninstall.

  Yesterday I loaded MS office 2010.  No problems until after he charge.  Then, unable to see that one of the Office programs listed in the folder.  Could not print because he says I didn't access/permissions.  Could not click on links that there are "restrictions in place, contact administrator.  Contacted Support MS on the desktop, after 1.5 hours on the phone, they were able to change user permissions for the desktop to appear in the folder.  However support said I had to talk to the Windows support, because the printer link issues were unrelated to Office.  They then told me that Vista is no longer supported, and so for a mere $99 I could pay to fix a problem caused by an update pushed by MS on my computer...!  Someone help on this permissions problem?
