XP and still receive the updates that will not be powered off (except by pressing the key stop for 10secs) computer.

Started to have a problem with the computer, download the updates, but seems never to end.  Computer can be left running all night, and he said again it is the download of updates and should not be extinguished.  It can be turned off only by pressing the power button on the computer for about 10 seconds, or just unplug the computer.  There is clearly a problem here, but do not know how to solve.  Any help out there?, thanks in anticipation. Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

NOTE: Before you perform an upgrade in-place, you must be prepared for the worst scenarios that led to your existing data on your computer being deleted. These data include data personal, settings, information about the hardware and software drivers. In case of a worst case scenario, you may have to reinstall all the programs. Make sure that you back up personal data to disks or other external storage devices before performing an upgrade on the spot.

    Hi all

I want to add a footer frame in the main section of a report that will not get pushed off the page by an extensible framework above it, which can develop vertically, but will still allow the extensible framework continue on the next page (and print another foot on this page as well. I paint a blank on how to do it with anchor or frameworks encompassing etc points.

Extend the extensible framework until the footer frame. Change the elasticity vertical expandable framework to contract or fixed. In this case, pull-out frame will be printed until the foot of the page and will then continue on the next page.

    I hope this helps.

  • I'm set up XP for automatic updates, but I also received several updates that are not install

no error code says just failed

Thanks for your help and I have the following answers for you so far, my anti virus is with Kaspersky and the subscription is up to date, the malicious software removal tool has been downloaded successfully but I had some problems with safe mode which, for some reason, does not open but in the meantime, I ran the mrt and it produced a report saying that no problem not found. Re safe mode, my 4 choices on screen was as usual ST380011a, CDROM, USB HDD, INT LAN and I tried all but comes to open the windows?

When you did install Kaspersky... When you purchased the system first or recently?

Is it just Kaspersky Antivirus or is a suite that includes a firewall?

The 4 choices you posted are quite rare, if you indeed tried to fashion without failure. It seems that you have entered the BIOS Setup , better known as the installer, not Mode without failure.
The Start Menu, which is what you are trying to access the list

    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt

    Maximum RAM 2 GB

Note: the manufacturer was required to provide a way to reinstall Windows. If it is not a set of disks with the computer, there will be a hidden restore partition (do not be confused with the system restore), you would use to return the computer to the State of the OOBE (Out of Box Experience).

Usually, just by pressing F11 continuously during the computer startup to display a boot menu offering the option you need.

You may need to contact the manufacturer of your hardware (Dell) to see what options they have to repair Windows.
