Resize, reposition the photo presentation

Is it possible to resize, reposition or change the proportions of a picture on a page in a theme for a photo book?  Or if a disposal option has a vertical and two horizontal photos on the page that I can remove the horizontal photos and have only one vertical picture?  Or should I always let the app crop my photos to adapt the boxes given in the presentation of the topic?

Thank you.

Richard,

Impossible to delete or resize photos in photo boxes. You must choose a theme and a layout were the photo boxes are just right.

What you can do is shift the picture in the box, enlarge or scale down to fit the box, but the proportions of the area will remain the same. See this help page:

https://help.Apple.com/photos/Mac/1.0/?lang=en#/pht337d0a03

  • Resize a photo: double-click the photo you want to edit. Drag the slider to Zoom & Crop to increase or decrease the size of the photo, and then drag the photo to move it back to the framework.
  • Match entire photo in a frame: control-click on the photo, and then choose Photo to adapt to the framework. (This command is not available for all themes). If you fit a photo in its framework, empty edges can appear along the sides of the photo so that the largest part of the photo can fit into the framework.
  • Return a photo in a frame: control - click on the photo, and then choose picture Flip. When you reverse photos, realize that the text or logos that appear on the photo may appear as a reverse mirror image.

  • I don't see the button resize in Windows Photo Gallery. He disappeared.

I want to resize pictures on my computer, but I don't see the option of resizing under file.  He simply disappeared.  Is there something to show?

    Hi NicolePutnam,

The option of resizing is not given unless you are connected to Windows Live.

The best way is to resize the image is to open Windows Photo Gallery, and then select the photos.

Click on the button send and then asks it to resize the pictures.

    For more information, see:

Resize photos in Windows Live Photo Gallery

Try the steps listed in the article below:

You are not prompted to resize an image when you send the image by e-mail to Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer in Windows XP

  • Problem of resizing the photos scanned on a Photosmart HP 7520 e-all-in-one

I try to print a page full of pictures of pocket of a scanned photo of 4 x 6 on my 7520 as I used to on my C7280 before he fell.  I can't do that with any ease.  It seems that my only option is to scan the photo to my computer and print it with the software from my computer in paperback.  I need to do it with a lot of pictures. Unfortunately there is not some distance between my printer and the computer and I really want to do all of the printer again like I used to.  Is there an app for that? :-)

Unfortunately, this is not a feature that is included in our software, more for this printer. There could be a third party available software that can do, but I know nothing like this on the top of my head.

My suggestion would be to either the scanner closer to the computer or you can...

    1. place as many images that fits on the bed scanner '

    2. can analyze this image once for each image present

    3. then cultures each scan for a single photo

4 reproduce the image of the page

    5. print the page

These are the best two solutions for this particular problem.

    Have a great day!

  • How can I resize the photo frames to adjust photos cropped to Blurb photo book?

I want to put the pictures as a photo using Lightroom book and the Blurb photo book module. Question: I do not see how to drag the sides of the photo frame individually to fit my photos, which are often cropped produced long skinny shots or those wider than the usual 4:3 format (not to make the frame of the photo, but to make the image go up the photo. I can easily do in Apple Aperture, but cannot see how to do in Lightroom in the Blurb module. I contacted directly the text of presentation that told me to contact Adobe - and this seems to be the only way to communicate with them. Help, please!

    Hello

It's actually pretty simple, so, of course, I understood your request with precision.

It is possible for the two control the zoom and the frame of the size on a page.

Let's say you want the entire image on the page to a size different from the default.

All that is necessary is to select a particular page by clicking on it.

You know that he was selected by the yellow outline around the page.

Then, hover on the edge of the image as it exists on the page.

Try both horizontal and vertical edges as needed until you get a change in the cursor of the mouse that looks like a cross with arrow heads.

L click and drag the image around until it is the size you want on the page.

The image remains centered on the page.

The proportions of the image is not altered.

If you choose, there is an additional control to zoom the image, and then move the image around, in part, to get the framing you want.

    See how you go.

    Thank you

  • PES 12 - drag the photo in larger document tray resizes the image

I upgraded from the 10 to 12 PSE PSE this week and leave me perplexed by a change in behavior.

I created a large blank document (3600 x 3600 pixels, size of scrapbook) and then drag the other top items to create new layers.

In PSE10, what I dragged into guarded their original size. In PES 12, they get resized to match the size of the document that I am dragging on.

Y at - it a setting I need to change? Can't find it.

For a few versions, including 10 PES, dragging it to the top of the photo tray placed things as dynamic objects. It normally puts in PES 12, would make a dough in the same way. If you want to reproduce the behavior of PES 10, use file > place instead of drag.

  • Can I resize the photo in PSE10 file size?

Can I reduce the file size of the photos in PSE10 for more late emailing?

You can resize an image using the Image > resize > resize the Image. Check resample image and desired size of dimension or document pixel and percentage (%) to resize the document. For more information about resizing, follow the help file: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/resizing.html#main-pars_heading_0

  • Photos and video can be combined in the same presentation

I know this is a noob question. Just bought Elements 8 for the purposes of using video wedding HD to my son yesterday and pictures of amature coupled with music to show the wedding reception this weekend. They were married on a cruise ship. To mix the two, can do that?

Of course they can! It is part of the fun.

Remember - for best results (per the FAQ on the right of this forum) resizing your photos do not exceed 1000 x 750 pixels before putting them in a project.

You can also look into keyframing and create paths (pans & zooms around the photo) something that can make even still pictures seem to be alive and moving.

  • Resize the photo but not the vector mask?

If I use a vector for a picture of drawing as a mask, can I then change the picture and hide individually?

There is a point in the center of the photo which allows me to move the mask, but how can I resize the photo without resizing the mask and resize the mask without resizing the photo?

    Thank you

Hold down the Alt/Option + click this point blue Center to move/adjust the mask without worrying if the thumbnail of the layer is active.

Regarding resizing regardless of them, I'm not aware of all the shortcuts except for:

Decouple (click/enable/disable the link between the thumbnail of the layer and the mask thumbnail)

Select the thumbnail of the mask.

Change the values (W/H) in the PI. (You can also do the same thing here for the active layer thumbnail)

Here is a tip that I use a lot of the time:

Use AutoShapes like masks. It is those who have points in the canvas "controller" that allow to resize, change the angles etc.

    Example:

    A. open/import an image file.

    B. Edit > cut the image/bitmap to the Clipboard.

    C. adding a Rectangle object rounded on the Web and have it active before moving on to the next step.

    D. Edit > paste inside the contents of the Clipboard (the image).

The result is your image with the a vector mask was consistent with the auto shape (in this case, the rounded Rectangle).

That's the problem - select the vector mask thumbnail and you will see again "anchor controllers" there: resize and corner radius.

  • What DPI and the quality when resizing the photos to post-secondary studies for use in PRE?

For use in first 7 Elements:

When resizing my photos from digital camera in Photoshop for reduced 1000 x 750 sizes that you would recommend when panning and zoom, there are a few additional choices.

Asked for the resolution in dpi.  Wouldn't be 600, 300, or less?

The other thing is: convert files? The max quality JPEG or standard or what?

I'm still a beginner at the first, then feel free to too technical!

    Thank you, Elizabeth.

Well, my book has all the answers, if you are interested, Elisabet!

PSD files are Photoshop files. Unlike most file formats, PSDs save their image data in an editable form, including layers and text. It also records these image lossless data - so that the files can be quite large.

JPEG files were invented mainly for use on the internet, and their main advantage is their image data can be compressed, so that the file sizes are much smaller. (That's why your digital camera probably stores its photos in format JPEG.) But the compression does not come without a cost. If you reopen and re - save a JPEG file multiple times, you will begin finally to compromise the integrity of the image.

With the photos that you want to use in a Premiere Elements, a JPEG file is probably fine. Quality is a good setting, and it's anything on a 7. (Probably you can compress your files even more, if you do not plan to re - open and re-save the file, but you probably don't have your file who are weak, unless you use online).

  • Reposition the MCs browser-based resize

I could use some help on this operation?

I tried to find a thread that responds to this question, but so far none with positive results.

For example what I would do is to reposition the particular video clips when a window is resized.
That is, make a movie clip always stay on the Middle bottom and another always stay in the Center.

You can use a listener to the scene to check resize it:

  • Facebook photos continues to present to the Photos app

My Photos app worked perfectly when I bought my Asus s400 last week. I had another problem with the Intel anti-theft service so my laptop was Refreshed by people of the Asus store I think. So I started to rebuild the stuff I got in here, but the Photos App is buggy now. I tried EVERYTHING from uninstalling and reinstalling, the withdrawal / reapply permissions at Facebook, etc. The photos would simply stop at 9000 + and start showing "something went wrong". If you open the application, he would say "224 files, 1 file" and the albums are all there, but latest have nothing in them. It's driving me crazy. Help, please. :( Thank you very much for your time!

I solved the problem myself, by uninstalled and reinstalled app Photos.

Checking edit together or unchecking it seems to do anything. Freeform miniatures box only allows me to move him have the so many vignettes that I would like.

You cannot perform this operation with lightbox slide show. Please try composition Lightbox to do.

  • New feature of memories do not scan all the photos

I've updated to Sierra and was really looking forward to memories in pictures. I turned it on and it said that it would take some time to analyze my library. I thought that. I have a library of 60 GB. However, the bar has not moved for several days. So I left and reopened the photos. He then invited me again to activate the memories. After only a few times to quit smoking pictures and allowing the memories, it seemed to take. A couple of souvenirs presented themselves (3).

However, now its more than a week later and there are no more. I can't understand how to trigger memories to analyze my photos.

Does anyone know how to force the re-scan for souvenir Photos? Or has had a similar experience? Found a solution?

    Thank you

I can't understand how to trigger memories to analyze my photos.

Memories will be triggered by adding more pictures, naming faces, names of places and in some time.

I often see new memories appear as "on this day". For example, if the date is the same day of AAS, when I was on vacation and shot a lot of photos, a memory 'on this day' will appear.

You have the preference ' Photos > Preferences > memories: holiday events Show "enabled?  Then you should see a lot of memories of family get-togethers as well.

  • Photo presentation

I have to give a conference where I'll show a lot of my pictures using my Macbook Air connected to a projector. I don't want an automatic slideshow because I need to select the next photo only when I'm ready for it. And I don't want the hassle of drag each photo individually in Keynote or Powerpoint and resize it to fit. I can select the photo in the Finder and put in full screen, but then I don't have the possibility to order in as I want. Can anyone suggest what is the best software to use?

You can create a standard album in Photos for Mac, sort photos manually in the album, then select the first photo in the album and display mode full screen. now, you can use the arrow keys to advance the photos and sow one by one, when you're ready.
