  First of all, I apologize because clearly, nobody else here knows what you're feeling :)

  The problem is in fact a function: If you open a file (such as a video) directly, WMP opens directly to the ' Now Playing ' screen to display the video (the video can not be displayed in library mode where it lists all the files).  It is locked, you cannot change this behavior (because I'm sure you would agree, everyone would complain if they could not see a video playing every time they played, of course!)

  But what you can do, there's WMP to always be the size you want!

  (1) play a video in WMP.
  (2) while the video plays, click anywhere in the video and uncheck the option 'Fit Player to video'.

  WMP will attempt is no longer to adjust its size whenever a video is played.

• Cannot minimize/maximize/close/move/resize Windows.

  The right upper buttons to minimize, maximize, and close a window do not work. Respond to mouse pointer, they don't take any action when you click it. Also, I can't move or resize windows by dragging them, etc. I can always shut down windows with the task bar or the Task Manager and everything within a window function normally. In addition, some pop up dialogue boxes (that is to say, "do you want to save this document before closing?") have no text in buttons, while maintaining their functionality.   After further investigation, it seems that not all programs are affected by the present. Google chrome, iTunes, Adobe Photoshop, and all work normally, but not Windows Explorer Microsoft office, the Task Manager, Control Panel, etc., that all work.

  I suggest that you run the System File Checker to see if you have corrupted system files. It may take some time, so you can do when your will not to use your computer.

  Click Start
  Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
  Click on "Run as Administrator"
  At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

  This will check for any violation of the integrity and repair any damaged operating system files.

  Restart your system

  Now run the command chkdsk:
  1 disable any security software before you attempt to upgrade or do a clean install.
  2. make sure that your computer is updated (devices and applications)
  3. disconnect all external devices before installing.
  4. check your hard disk for errors:
  Click Start
  Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
  Click on "Run as Administrator"
  At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r
  When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

• Update of slow moving/resizing windows from El Capitan?

  Does anyone had a problem with resizing windows very slowly... like moving... Since the upgrade? This happens in the Entourage too, if that matters.

  I think that the events are for something like select menu or tool (filter), and then this, for example.

  Resize windows to fit (double click on the glass magnifying in the toolbar) works very well except when I do a smaller image. If I reduce the size of the image that I have to grab and drag the window to the image - any amount of change, large, small, works-and then it works fine. I tried to change the "Windows resizes Zoom" in preferences, "Resize Windows to fit" in the header bar, and I work in mode "float all Windows." Any ideas for a fix, something to try, or is this a known bug? Thank you!

• Cannot send resize window

  Thunderbird comes automatically updated yesterday and now I can't resize the send window. Its width is locked in place. Regardless of whether a new message or a reply.   Found! I have an extension called 'Foxclocks' installed which indicates what time it is in other time zones. • Windows 7 move / resize windows on the monitor power cycle

  I have a new ultimate install W7 on a new PC (AOpen DEX4501 w intel GM45 graphics). I installed the latest graphic drivers Intel 8.15.10.2202 and all the updates of windows relevant.

  It is connected via HDMI to a HD of Grundig Misuro TV. My resolution is set to 1600 x 900, windows recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080, but appears poorly, so I do not use it.

  When Windows is asleep, or I turn off (and then later) the monitor, most of the windows are moved/resized to the top left with the lower right corner to 1024 x 768.

  Firefox, Excel (2003), resize/move, Outlook windows Explorer (2003) do not move/resize.

  I have a screen of Samurize (like Gadget) on the right who someimes is moved to the top left, but not this morning. The windows resize/move also happens when Samurize is not running.

  They do not seem to have been resolved for a long time.

  Each is a tree called '00' two keys are
  PrimSurfSize.cx
  PrimSurfSize.cy

  Under "00" is also another branch called '00' two keys are;
  ActiveSize.cx
  ActiveSize.cy

  The first two configs (IE... DELF00 & QHD3...) the above keys were 1440 x 900.
  While they were not involved.

  The third (SIMULATED...) have been set at 1024 x 768.

  I changed to 1600 x 900 and the problem was solved.

  Further, I changed resolution (via Control Panel) 1920 x 1080, returned the issue of moving/resizing,.
  but the lower right was set at 1600 x 900, IE the SIMULATED... settings.

  If for any reason any of the configs does not set correctly.

  I don't know why there are three configs, I never used a single monitor.

  It's OSX.

  Toggle the green button at the top left of your window. It should be resized to fit the screen.  Click it several times.

  If that fails, go to the menu of the Photoshop window and check the setting of the Application market.

  Have you downloaded the example of the tutorial page files? It features the image of Saturn.

  To get the code side by side with the web page, select split vertically in the menu display of DW. You resize the windows by dragging the border between them.

• Topic is not displaying when selected on TOC or search until the resized window

  It started after the upgrade to RH10. I'm not sure which caused the problem, but we couldn't see it until then.

  We have a WebHelp project that is called from a browser app. When we ask help of the homepage opens and everything is fine. However, when the user selects a link in the component table of contents or search, the topic pane is empty. It shows once again if you resize the window.

  We use RH10 to the author of our project and it is occuring in IE10.

  Any ideas would be appreciated. Our users get the impression, help is broken :-(
