Resizing with loadMovie

Unfortunately, I recently inherited the AS1 code and I need help. I have a loop that loads in a few images using loadMovie(). The only problem is that they must be resized once they are loaded. I know he owes to MovieClipLoader, but it is almost impossible to use it with a for loop and I want to put the amount of the rental of the changes to the structure of the code. Y at - it an easy way to resize an image that was loading using loadMovie? I am creating an onEnterFrame for each of them, but it doesn't seem to work. No idea why?

You can use an instance of moviecliploader in a loop for load and control multiple files.

your onEnterFrame loop is deleted as soon as the loading. and unless the pw and ph vary with each p, there is nothing complicated about this topic. If pw and ph vary with each p, and then create a child (or parent) of p and load in the child (or assign a property of pw and ph to the parent).

  • access to documents loaded with loadMovie()

    I must be missing something, but I can't seem to figure out how to access a calendar or almost anything from a swf containing in the swf, I do come with loadMovie()

    for example I loadMovie ("news_sign.swf", news_holder);

    I have tried several things but I have (like just do a simple stop on the clip), but I don't get to work. What should I do?

    Oh yes, it's possible. everything in any flash document is accessible from anywhere in any flash document as long as both documents are open on the same computer.

    in your case, you have the situation more simple where the two documents are the same.

    Yet once, chronology of _root in news_sign.swf fits the timeline of news_holder. for example, if news_holder is in mc1 and you want to refer to something in mc1.about_holder, a button on the news_sign.swf _root timeline can use

    This ._parent .about_holder;

    It's the news_holder timeline (after loading), _parent takes you to news_holder (which is mc1) and mc1 parent, you go to a child movieclips, about_holder.

    You can also use absolute paths which, in my view, are easier to understand.

    so if mc1 is on _level0 of timeline, you can use _level0.mc1.about_holder to anywhere in your movie in _level0, including news_sign.swf (after loading).

  • Buttons custom not resizing with project

    I created different buttons using Image Ready and Fireworks and brought them into a problem see is when I reduce the project and resize them, (and select "Resize images legends, etc."), my buttons custom don't resize with the other images on the screen.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Rick,

    Thank you for your quick response, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Sounds like Adobe is the standard short, perhaps a few algorithms in Captivate 9.0? Looks like a bmp resizing is not so difficult, but the recalculation of the up_, down_ and over_ action is probably too.

    It's just a reminder that you must really be certain of the size of your final delivery before editing it. Resize a button would be really convenient for customers who are not sure of the final size.

    Yet once again, thanks a ton!

  • incompatible loading with loadmovie, whats a trick to this?

    loadMovie (imagePath, "loadImage");

    the value of the imagePath value dynamically an image on the server based on the interaction of users.
    loadImage is a clip of blank film sitting on this timeline that receives the loadMovie command.

    an image after the loadMovie command I put the width and height. four frames after that I have a stop();

    the user makes a number of things, and the timeline that contains the loadmovie reruns itself using the new imagePath to pull in a new movie. It has a 25% failure rate when it starts first. Even if im charging the same image, or if I have folding back and forth between loading different images, possibly an image does not load and more, and then the other image used or the other and finally none of the images load. If I shut the whole thing down and start it again, im good to go again for a few times but then finally nothing loads again. Maybe theres a problem syncing here. Anyone who deals with this before and know what are the General rules for this type of installation to work with loadMovie?

    Yep, that's the answer. Work a lot better now and I can follow when it finishes to load now. Thank you!

  • percentWidth does not resize with container

    OK, here's the summary.

    Application
    _Canvas (basic constraint)
    __HBox (basic constraint)
    ___ModuleLoader (20%) ModuleLoader (60%) ModuleLoader (20%)

    When I deploy the application, everything works fine. Resizing the window resizes automatically all the components and containers. But when I dynamically set the percentWidth or percentHeight in actionscript attributes, it does not quite work. He places them correctly at the beginning, as module loaders will set at 20/60/20 percent of the container, but they don't resize with it if I resize the window.

    The loaded module is a placeholder right now. It is just a panel with a button.

    What is the difference between assigning the percentWidth in actionscript and it through the properties pane?

    I tried both methods:

    mlExample.percentWidth = 100;
    and
    mlExample.setStyle("width","100%"); "

    and both give the same results.

    I thought about it. I got a Resize effect that has made the declaration of value. You cannot use the effect of resizing to resize a percentage, so I had to resize to the height and width max current, and then set the percentages thereafter. The problem has been the effect will start to play, then the percentages would set until the effect is done playing, as well as the new values would crush the values. I added an EFFECT_END event listener and was to launch a new feature to reset the values.

  • loading image with loadMovie

    Load a picture to a clip (name container) using loadMovie I'm loading the clip image is resized to the size of the loaded image, is there a way to avoid that from happening? I want the clip to its original size.

    Thank you for your help,

    Loaded images or SWFs inherit only position, rotation, and scale. They load
    to their original size well. If you want to resize to fit one
    particular field, you'll need to do it with As first of all, you need to stop
    Use loadMovie instead and use the MovieClipLoader class. You should be
    using it in any case, it's better.

    Simple example that loads an image of my C: drive in a clip named "hold."

    var myLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    var LIS = new Object();
    lis.onLoadInit = function (targ:MovieClip) {}
    Targ._width = 83;
    Targ._height = 119;
    }
    myLoader.addListener (DSL);
    myLoader.loadClip ("c:/dm_phillips_2005.jpg", hold);

  • Funds loaded with LoadMovie sovereigns are really big?

    I have the following action in "frame.swf" on frame 1:

    loadMovie ("home.swf", "DisplayArea");

    My "home.swf" is exactly 730 x 400, but during the loading in frame.swf, it is much more. Is any way to set the size of the loaded .swf?

    Yup - just as suspect - your clip is resized - select it with your transformation Panel open - you'll
    See is climbed more than 140 percent.

  • Firefox 38.0.1 window resized with menu bar problem

    After update to 38.0.1, I have the active menu bar, and I have a problem with the firefox window, changing size when displaying pages. The entire window jitters then I lose the bar menu at the top of the tab bar. at this point, I can't click or enter data into a web page. If I select the border of the window and resize or move the window back to its original with the menu bar size and displayed correctly tabs.

    I also developer of Firefox v 40.a02 it was OK last week I was last updated on 29/05 and now also has the same problem.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

    You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

    You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

However, I do not have problems when you use the mouse.

    Quite similar problem is when I use the liquefy tool. When I use my pen and move something with the Liquify tool, it goes immediately to the previous state, and does it at random. Sometimes, he remembers that I've made changes, sometimes it's not

  • How can I insert a video and how can I resize with Dreamweaver cs5?

    I export a slide show on a Web page. The format will be H.264. But I had problems with the integration of the video using Dreamweaver cs5, then, what are the best measures? Also, I need to make the video smaller than the standard size, so how do I resize as well? Thank you!-Peter Mayer

    Use the HTML5 video tag. You will need to manually code if ' cuz CS5 has no menus for it.  No, they were introduced in DW to the creative cloud CS6 (ver 12.20).

  • How the panels can be locked to the workspace so that they move and resize with it instead of circulating only?

    With all the other programs I've used LR, including when the main window is re-size all associates "panels" stick with it.

    PS 6 and earlier versions... for me, re-sizing the window let the signs floating around on their own. Is there a way to lock things to keep them with and resize the main window?

    If you go to window > workspace and click on the Essentials (default), which should give you an example how the panels are anchored to the photoshop window and follow the photoshop window resizing.

    You can dock the panels to the photoshop window by dragging to the edge of the window until you see a blue line and then release the mouse button.

  • Get div to auto may not resize with the browser window

    I'm trying to get a div with a paragraph of text will resize automatically when the browser window is resized.

    I've seen what happens automatically, when I had no style applied to the < div > tag, but because I have my content centered using a < div > Interior inside a container fixed-width < div >, the inner div is now fixed so despite not having a fixed width.

    Here is the page I'm trying to settle (the box with the text is the < div > inner circle in question):

    http://beta.deltsig.com/about.html

    Here's a test page showing what I want the text to do when the window is resized:

    http://beta.deltsig.com/test.html

    And here's the CSS of the inner divs and container:

    {#div-container}

    Width: 768px;

    text-align: center;

    left margin: auto;

    margin-right: auto;

    }

    .div-redtint-flexsize {}

    padding: 1px 20px 20px 20px;

    text-align: left;

    background-color: #f3e4e4;

    -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 7px rgba (0, 0, 0,. 7);

    -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 7px rgba (0, 0, 0,. 7);

    box-shadow: 0 0 7px rgba (0, 0, 0,. 7);

    }

    I tried to add different styles of width to the CSS, but nothing had no effect.

    It's a style that I have to change in the container div?

    You cannot have two meanings.  Your page is fixed (px or em based) or liquid (% based).

    A container fixed width parent does everything inside it fixed.

    If you want to try to work with liquid layouts, go to file > New > blank page > HTML > layouts and select one of the liquid patterns from the 3rd Panel.  Creating success.
