Resolution of presentation

Hi all

Small question. Is there a resolution of the standard screen/layout for the VCDX defense, or even a defined minimum resolution, say 1600 x 900?

Just make sure that the content of my presentation is clear according to the size of the resolution?

In addition, are all defenses via a projector or a connection direct screen?

Concerning

Carl

Assume that the best you can get is 1024 x 768 (not widescreen). They are at the mercy of what's next in the establishment where you defend.

What should be the size and resolution of the screenshots of the application to submit on BB App World?

They can be any size.  But since you would probably take them to simulators, I guess they will be in the dimensions of the blackberry model you support.  For example, if your phone works on the storm or the new 8900 Curve, it will be 480 x 360, if it works on the "BOLD", it will be 480 x 320, old curves, 320 x 240, etc..  If your application works with more than one model, simply choose the best resolution.

  • Question of presentation TC6.3.0

    Hi all

We found that we cannot display resolution XGA presentation when we choose presentation layout as simple and overlay in a call.

It can easily reach with the following procedure.

    1. connect to an endpoint farend.

    2. run the presentation on a PC with a XGA resolution.

    3. press the remote button on the page and change the layout to the presentation superimposition or simple.

(In equality and Prominent, it can display the screen of the PC)

In addition, when we use the source of presentation HD resolution, it doesn't not.

Anyone know if this will be fixed in a future software update?

    Best regards

    Hello

I see the same question what you describe in the laboratory.   Both TC6.3 and TC7.0.1.

But I tested with TC7.0.2 beta1 and can't see this problem.

In the meantime, if you need this, I suggest to you that use TC6.2.1 first.

    Kind regards

I deleted all the folders and files associated with Presenter 7 or 8 in

    C drive > users > username > App Data > Local > Adobe >

and App Data > roaming > Adobe >

I uninstalled office 2010, restarted, the reinstalled office 2010 and restarted again. I uninstalled eLearning Suite, rebooted, and then reinstall eLearning Suite 6 and restarted again.

When I opened PowerPoint, I still haven't Presenter. However, I found the snap-snap presenter has been installed but disabled. (I have been checking all along to see if the add-in has been disabled.)

  • The proxy editing low resolution, then apply changes to high resolution

    Hello

I'm developing a continuous image of a great wall that will be seen about 1-2 feet of viewing distance. There are about 100 dpi.

My image is currently 21 600 x 8100 pixels in 8-bit CMYK. It can grow. I don't do a lot of manipulation, but a lot of it is with the help of brushes and the smudge tool.

    2 questions:

    (1) I have a Mac Pro 12-core with 24 GB of RAM. The smudge tool is slooowly when working on this image (like a finger to the max brush size takes 15-20 seconds to enter into force).

    (2) is it a "string mesh" tool that I can use instead of the finger tool?

Is it possible for me to edit a version low resolution of this image, then apply the changes that I made to the version high resolution? then I can use the tools anti-dirt and brush, and the finesse my work without the machine bogged down and Imaging will look correct. I'm looking for a way to use these tools in real time while working with this large image.

This seems to be the solution (at least it is for me). I can apply my changes to the proxy low resolution by registering the mesh and then apply this same mesh to image high resolution. The brush sizes large (compared to the resolution of the image) that I am available in version low resolution are presented through the high resolution because the changes are not applied as strokes of brush, but as changes in the global network. changes made to the mesh are what is transferred when you export and import.

Applying the mesh is pretty slow and it requires a bit of tinkering at the level high resolution, but makes me 95% of the way. I think that is achievable.

To sum up - here are the steps:

    (1) I make a version low resolution of the image (like 1200px wide)

    (2) I make my changes to the image using fluidity

    (3) before committing the changes in fluidity, I have 'Save Mesh' in the Liquify tool

    (4) I opened my image in high resolution

    (5) I use liquify, but I do not use brushes, but rather load my saved the low-resolution mesh

    (6) profit.

Thanks for the help of the people!

2 disable the nview plugin (right-click the desktop > nview properties > disable all)

    3. turn on the external computer laptop LCD and LCD

    4. adjust the external LCD as secondary (extend the desktop on the screen)

    5. turn the laptop LCD as primary (extend the desktop on the screen and set as the main monitor)

    6. open Director of presentation and create a new profile

    7. Select exit DVI only, then the resolution (up to 1920 x 1200 should be available now)

  • Can I use still images high resolution in Keynote?

Prepare a presentation in Keynote that requires a lot of photos/movies - it is to be broadcast from an international conference in the world.  So I don't want to spoil.

I have some high resolution photos (the originals were RAW, I converted them to PNG).  I want to build my speech with the high-resolution PNG, or what I want to batch convert to JPEG before their insertion in the speech?  What would be an optimal size by peak.  There are probably about 100 stills or so, more than a dozen of short films (that's an hour and a half presentation I think).

Or, if I don't use a high-resolution PNG (15-20 megs), is there a function in Keynote, which reduces the size of the files?

And, if so, I'm better batch convert PNG to JPEG, or simply use the PNG and let Keynote optimization?

For movies I'll all convert H264 (same resolution - 1920 x 1080 - Keynote presentation using the same optimal data rate that you would use for Vimeo).

    All ears,

    Ben

Size of the images to match the slide size in Keynote;   in this case, they should be 1920 x 1080 pixels

because they are PNG files keep than

Convert a batch of images as follows:

Open all of the batch of images in preview

Select all the thumbnails in the sidebar - click on an image in the sidebar then (Command-A)

on the Tools menu, choose Adjust size

use the custom size and enter 1929 x 1080

    Save

Place the images in Keynote, as follows: drag all the images in the browser (the sidebar on the left) and a new slide will be created for each image, centered and scaled to full screen

If images are larger than the size of slide, they look better, they simply more space

If the images are smaller than the size of slide, they will reduce in quality

  • NB200 - can't change screen resolution

Hi, I have a strange problem with a netbook NB200.

The screen resolution is set to 1024 x 768 with the lowest resolution to be together is 800 x 600 as a result no parameter displays correctly on the netbook screen and the Start button, taskbar, etc are missing.

The native resolution for this machine must be 1024 x 600 - however, it is not available in the list of troubleshooting steps that can be chosen.

    Here are the steps that have been taken so far;

    (1) to restore the machine to resolution of parameters - the parameters of origin of wiping machine - factory defaults to 1024 x 768
    (2) load the latest version of the BIOS just to see if the BIOS had an impact - don't think it would, but I tried anyway.
    (3) the adapter graphic to uninstall and reinstall the Toshiba europe site (intel 945 mobile (r) express chipset)
Graphic adapter installed okay more low resolution is 800 x 600 and 1024 x 600 option is not available.
    4) noted that the default monitor is still listed as "digital flat panel 1024 x 768".

At present, the only way to use it is with an external monitor.

For now it doesn't help as a netbook - someone has any ideas to try because I am running out of ideas with this one.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi foxpc123,

All that you have done is correct and you have tried everything, but if the factory settings doesn't help reset and screen resolution is automatically 1024 x 768, again, he must a serious malfunction of equipment. I can imagine something with the graphics card itself is not okay and so the monitor properties can t be detected correctly.

You need to contact a service provider authorized in your country. Guys can check the equipment and replace it. I put t know how old is your notebook and if it s under warranty, but the warranty repair material is free. This means that technicians can fix that for free, but if not, you will have to pay for the repair.

So the easiest way is you contact with the guys and talk to them. I m that you can clarify this with the technicians. ;)

  • screen resolution of 1400 x 1050 on a Satellite A110

    Hello fellow Toshiba users.

For the purposes of presentation I bought one 20 "other TFT made to match my A110 with 950 gr. It runs better on a resolution 1400 x 1050, but not this specific resolution on the video card options. The closest is 1920 x 1440, but then the quality has not...

    Someone knows a solution?

  • Tecra A2: Automatic change of the resolution of the screen

I use a Tecra A2 with an external 17 '' TFT Phillips, connected via the Toshiba docking station.

TFT works best with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 - 1024 x 768 only supports the computer screen. I spent a lot of time, try to configure the integrated Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller to automatically select the external screen when connected, otherwise use the screen of the laptop. I can get both use the same resolution (1024 x 768), but makes the screen external look terrible!

This feature was present in my Sat Pro 6000 - but now that I have moved upward at a Tecra, I seem to have lost it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

AFAIK the Tecra A2 takes care of max 1024 x 768 resolutions and it s not possible to increase it. Well, you said that your screen looks terrible with 1024 px external.
I guess that the display looks like fuzzy. It of normal because the standard resolution for this monitor is 1280 x 1024.
Well, unfortunately you have to use this resolution if you want to have a clear display resolution.

  • Tecra M5 - driver graphics card need to run a widescreen resolution

I have a Tecra M5 with Intel 945GM Express chipset. Is there a driver available that will allow me to run a large screen monitor sucessfully?
For the moment, the screen is stretched and I do not have the definition of 1280 x 960 I have as an option.

    Help!

Try to download the graphics driver for the Intel page. It is a driver Intel GPU original, that could allows to use a widescreen resolution.

After choosing the suitable driver for your operating system, download the driver file in a directory on your hard drive.
Cannot install driver downloaded from the Toshiba driver is always present and should be removed.

To remove the driver performs the following steps:

    1. go in Control Panel by clicking on 'Start'-> 'Control Panel'-> ' Add / Remove Programs ' and select the 'Intel(r) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver.
    2. click on "Change/Remove" and remove the driver by following the uninstall wizard
    3. restart the computer and install the driver by opening the downloaded file
    4 restart your machine
    5. after reboot, connect your external display to your machine
    6. right click on the desktop and click "Properties".
    7. go into 'Settings'-> 'Advanced'-> "Intel (r) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile"-> "graphics properties."
    8. to set the native resolution on the external display, choose the mode in the "Display devices" Section and the resolution in "display settings."
9 be sure to disable the screen rotation, except that your screen will be turned when choosing a bad resolution.

  • How to view the presentation on external projector?

I can't get to be projected by projector PowerPoint slides. Technical support Toshiba is not the answer. The projector of the project part of the paper painted. Also my mouse pointer is planned when it actually far points to the left of the laptop screen. Hold down the FN and F5 shows only a single class of LCD/CRT.

The configuration of the desktop display resolution changes do not solve the problem. The projector or remote properly advance PowerPoint presentation, but once again those slides do not really plan. How can I get the projector to project correctly my PowerPoint presentation?

[Edited by: admin on 26 July 05 07:16]

    Hello

I put t know what laptop you have, but as far as I know, all new laptops have the same screen switch option (FN + F5). Using this key combination, you can choose three different sessions:

    LCD screen only
LCD/CRT at the same time and
    CRT only.

If you choose the second option, you can do it on two tracks. You can look the same on both sides, or you can use it as two different domains and remove the display windows 1 (LCD) to show 2 (projector). Check it using the display option in the properties on the display settings tab.

I hope this will help you.

    Good bye

  • Display resolution of the M60-139

    Hello

I recently played a bit with the M60-139 with a local Distributor. Their presentation text, said that the characteristics of the M60 a TFT display resolution of 1440 by 900 pixels, while toshiba.com specifies 1280 by 900.

Can anyone confirm one or the other value?

    Thank you.

    Hello wet

I found an info display resolution depends on the graphics chip. There are two different graphics chips for Satellite M60:

    ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600SE - resolution (1440 x 900)
    ATI MOBILITY RADEON X 600-resolution (1280 x 800).

I recommend buying the first because there 17.0 "TruBrite (1440 x 900) discovers Wide 16:10 color TFT display. The picture quality is amazing.

    Good bye
