  Right click offers many options, including "create new portfolio" but not a new folder. By clicking on the record button create does nothing.

  This is something new, but I can't think of anything that I did recently to make it. It sounds like a permissions problem, but I can't find a solution.

  Have you checked the folder permissions create? Pull up the properties of the parent folder and select the Security tab and click the Advanced button. Double-click the user, and you will see permissions of created files.

• I can not even open FF because the profile is not found, even after using the profile in order to create a new profile.

  I've recently upgraded to version 40 39.0.3. The first upgrade was not so I removed FF using the control panel (uninstall program). I reinstalled again, but I got the messages that FF was already running, etc. as other users have noticed. (I have the box checked to use the new profile on startup). I have created FF as I wanted it, and then exit. When I started later FF, the profile is not found. The profile did not have the "defaultuser" profile, does not open with the "default" profile, but would a new profile must be created and FF to open and run. Quit FF and reopen produces the same sequence (profile not found, etc.) I uninstalled 40 and reinstalled version 39.0.3 and I have the same problems with this version (39.0.3), plus he's starting the upgrade to version 40, and soon as I complete the installation again.   I use firefox on a MacBook pro. Mac OS X version 10.7.5. There was an update of firefox on a day or 2 ago. Since this was done, I was getting 'syntax error' 5 times, each time that a page has been loaded. Some research has suggested that an application or a plug-in called "social fixer" might be the problem but I could not understand how to get rid of it so decided to try to reset Firefox. Minutes passed and a message was on the screen saying the old files of firefox have been been "cleaned" or something, but it seems to be 'stuck' because the progress bar was little jerky. Doesn't it usually doesn't. So I clicked on "Cancel". After that, I couldn't even firefox to start. Looks like my profile is unavailable or inaccessible. Following the instructions found on the support site, I created a new profile and I thought I copied the files from the previous firefox on the new profile, but when I run firefox, it's a blank slate. None of my bookmarks or passwords are there. It must be here somewhere, but I can't seem to understand.

  Looks like there was a problem with updating the profiles.ini file.

  Suggest make you in Photoshop preferences > General > uncheck "Show workspace start when no documents are open" > restart Photoshop and check again.

• How can I create a new catalog of all my photos with no. develop adjustments?

  I use Lightroom 4.3.  I tried this by removing the old catalog and creating a new, thinking to develop adjustments would no longer exist after the first removal of the old catalog.  To develop adjustments are still there.  (I deleted the catalog out of the folder under my pictures lightroom).

  The reason I want to do is that I have a record (of about 800 important photos) where something went very wrong in Lightroom, and whenever I try to pull up one of the photos from my computer just crashes.  Everything works perfectly in my other files.  I even reinstalled Lightroom.  I want to add these dng photos without adjustments to develop.  It doesn't bother me if none of my files have develop adjustments.  I save all my files after they are adjusted.  I save the DNG also.

  A simple method: reset after you import (which can be made to library module - e.g. main menu, the menu popup, fast - developing...). If you can't get even, consider using exiftool to strip xmp of DNG or JPEG, or simply delete the xmp file in the case of exclusive wines.

  I couldn't connect to your ws because I don't think that your guest user has developer privileges. But have you tried 'Back in the agenda key' property in the region of origin of your page DML process. This should return the value of the primary key newly generated in a page element when the page is loaded.
