Windows Media Player delivers CD burning

I recently had problems with CD burning. The burning process goes as usual - the files are analyzed and written on the CD and the disc is finalized and ejected. However, when I play on the same computer, it plays back patter and stuttering and play even in other CD players, or even not at all.
I tried to burn CDs more and it burned an ok, so I made another and he returned stuttery. I tried auto jumpers and even deleted WMP11 and re - install. I thought it might be the real drive but then why it burn a CD every now and then ok?

Thank you.

You want to perhaps consider this freeware, its more flexible WMP and you do not have to worry about WMP, high reading:

  • HOW can I TRANSFER MY MUSIC ON USB FLASHDRIVE to LIBRARY WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER for CD burn

I just bought a beautiful Yamaha keyboard with a USB plug feature that allows me to record my music on a flash drive and bring it to the computer to burn the cd.
I downloaded Windows Media Player 11 yesterday - & when I plug the FD in the computer, music - and I have touched the options "add to library" - but when I take the FD of the computer, the song goes with it. The single "rip instructions" is for a CD, not a flash drive.
I'm a musician but a dummy into technical details - I don't know yet how to 'save' something - my granddaughter told me I might need save in another location & then "pull it in WMP to burn?

so if someone out there could tell me if I can do it in WMP & give me some details step by step on how to accomplish what I'm trying to do, I'll be very grateful...  My family & friends would like to have a CD of my music & I'd like to be able to do it before I get too old to get there...  Laughing out loud
    Judy

    Thanks, Judy

    Hello Jusho,

Thank you for your message.  Your little girl has been phenomenal.  Please follow the steps below to get your music transferred to your computer and then ready to be burned to the disc.

    1. Insert your flash drive
    2. click on the "Start Orb" and select 'music '.
    3. now leave this file open and click on the "Start Orb" and select "computer."
    4. double-click on your flash drive
    5. all the music you want to add from your Flash drive can now be dragged to this file in the folder "Music"

You have now copied your music from the flash drive in a folder on your computer.

You can open Media Player and your music will be there.  Please let us know if this answered your question.  We can't wait to hear back on your part.

    Hey Tashina_Jean,

Here are a few things to try:

    1. make sure that the disc is clean.

    2. Select a recording speed (write) more slow for the CD burner (recorder).

    3. try a different brand of blank discs.

    4. stop all other programs that are running.

5 disable any programs that could activate themselves, while burning is in progress, such as screensavers or anti-virus programs.

    6. defragment your hard drive.

  • Windows media player will not burn a cd on windows 8

I can not burn a single song on a CD - R disc? I get a message reading "insert a new disk, and as soon as windows find, it will start to burn", but it never does. I have a new ASUS computer. and in fact the music won't burn anywhere on the computer. as to my folder of music, or from iTunes? But I usually never have this issue with media player

Windows Media Player can burn data and music without going through the Media Center. You can't burn videos in windows 8. Who needs a 3rd party software - no media center that does not play video. First, he must extract the music on your hard drive or download to your hard drive and then set up burning. You can't record music directly from other sources like Itunes. Help has more on burning discs.

If you continue to use another disk, disk is not compatible. You cannot use RW discs (rewritable).

My question is this: why I can not burn CD with Media Player? Lol I have always, even if Microsoft was supposed to be the smart company making the best stuff, but I don't see these days is garbage. It's sad.

Nevermind, got the disc to burn on my Macintosh instantly without any problems.  To the review windows.
