Resource conflict error

Hello

I'm using LabWindows at distance contorl the CMW 500.

I use WCDMA in car since the R & S to run CMW 500.

When I activate the Multi evaluation mode to see the result of the test.

It keeps displaying "conflict resources".

I'm not really sure to know the reasons that I'm "conflict resources".

I don't think I put false entries... (or I call the additional function of LabWindows to control the CMW 500?)

is there a reason of possiable that I made mistake in LabWindows?

Thank you

Hi pc486,.

Is it possible that the material resource is already booked and we try to access it at several places? Would you be able to post a screenshot of the error code? LabWindows/CVI has not all the additional functions that are called, standard running C code.  Also, I found a driver in our network of Driver of Instrument which can be useful. This was not written nor supported by National Instruments, but it can be useful.

huh, really sounds like a hardware related issue. But before contacting a service centre, you should try a BIOS update. Maybe it helps, or maybe not. Can I just suggest that it you before sending the laptop.

If you come in the bios and save the changes with the best configuration or default installation, the result is the same. I read in the forums that this error is tipycal in some toshiba models and the only solution is to change the motherboard. I hope it 'sn' t true and you, the experts of the toshiba, might help me find or tell an alternative, because I think my client won't like the motherboard, because it is usually too expensive.

I doubt s typical error for Toshiba laptop.
According to this error message, there is something wrong with PCI devices on the motherboard, and this error may happen to any laptops from different manufacturers it typical error of s which is related to the question of the motherboard.

According to me, there is no much to do you'll need a new motherboard.

    Hi athe43,

Below I've listed the details of error Code 12 and the article with additional information:

    Code 12

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)

    Cause

This error can occur if two devices that are installed on your computer received the same i/o ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct memory access channel (whether through BIOS, the operating system, or both). This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources for the device.

    Recommended resolution

You can use the Troubleshooting Wizard in Device Manager to determine where the conflict is, and then disable the device in conflict.

Turn off the device in conflict

    1. In the device properties dialog box, click the general tab.
    2. Click troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard. The wizard will ask a few simple questions and provides a solution to your problem, based on the answers you provide.
    3. Follow the resolution steps provided by the wizard to resolve the problem.

If I choose to resume, boot Windows XP starts but stucks in the process. I can boot Windows Mode safe mode without network only. I tried to reinstall the NIC drivers and restore the system, but it had no effect.

How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

The resource conflict appears generally if any 3rd device is already using the same resources of laptops.
The installed Windows operating system must control everything and it is not necessary to assign resources manually. After installing the driver everything should run automatically

I don't know why it happens, but in such case, the new OS installation m would be desirable.
Try to back up all your important data and reinstall the OS with all the important drivers Toshiba.

  • Using PLX9054 PCI resource conflict

We use a PLX9054 PCI chip in our designs PXI. We found that for some computers, only four modules can be used by PCI bus segment - the fifth module indicates a resource conflict. Looking at the use of detailed resources, it seems not be conflict in the address range or range of i/o addresses. On some computers, all five (or more) modules work fine.

The problem may be in which addresses are assigned to modules - debugging indicates that module in conflict has been awarded addresses reserved for the ISA bus and are not transported on the PCI bridge we use to run unions PXI.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere? Technical support PLX gave no indication.

I agree that the problem is the BIOS, not the operating system.  The resources requested, however, I suspect that the problem is space e/s.  You can change resource requests to eliminate the need for I/O space?  It is a scarce resource which is likely to cause problems, and I recommend not to use it even if it isn't the cause of this particular problem.

Minimum allocation of I/O bridge is 4 KB, and there are only 16 assignments available (64 KB).  While that sounds like a lot of what you do, it's complicated by folding mode ISA, which essentially limits you to 256 bytes of each 1024 bytes.  And the BIOS could not allocate space to IO well (I've seen before).

For your requests for memory space, you might as well make them the two 4 KB.  The minimum increment for a bridge is 1 MB, so all the tips in your chassis can use up to 128 KB without using more system resources.

Let me know if using space memory suits him.

  • Vista SP1 x 64 SMBus Controller on a P5W DH Deluxe resource conflict

P.S. I used a live CD of linux and I have no problem with the hardware, most all my drivers are up to date.

  • Have the intermittent connection when you use WiFi and conflict error IP address when using Ethernet

I have intermittent problems with my wireless internet connection. I contacted the ISP and they analyzed the configuration of the modem-router, changed some and told me to try to reconnect. I try again and the connection is OK. The ISP has caress each other on the back and sent me on my merry way not-so-small. Problem is at an unpredictable time, problems (do) happen.

Usually the failure scenario does not have a huge problem - plus one
gene as a problem. I just keep trying to connect through Windows
Network and sharing Center, and possibly the connection is made. But in some cases, time is critical; I eventually lose 10 to 20 minutes of typing-search-typing-correction-etc in a web form when the connection disappears before making a SHIPMENT. (Some time, after the failed wireless and re - connect, I was actually able to recover pretty quickly that the site has not been exceeded me.) So in this scenario I can't lost any strike.)

I would like to connect my pc to the internet via an ethernet cable
the modem-router. I could take this approach right after the wireless
connection failed. Or in a preventive way, when I know I'll be typing-
mode of research-type-fixed-etc and I want to be really sure. When I tried this, I get the error "Windows has detected an IP address conflict.

What I do at this point to get around the Wi - Fi connection and connect through the Ethernet cable?

The topic is edited for clarity of the moderator.* *.

[Original title: LOST INTERMITTENT WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION]

It is not clear what parameters your ISP technology management may have changed on your modem/router.  As a general rule, the ISP concerned the link between their server and your modem, but any fiddling with settings that control this link will not effect either on the link between your computer and the modem/router.

If you still haven't reset your router to its default settings, do not unless you know the necessary internal router settings for you connect to your ISP.  If you have a cable Internet connection, the default settings may work OK, but if you have a DSL, they probably won't.

You should not get this "IP address conflict" error when you connect the Ethernet cable.  Follow these steps:

Open the "network and sharing Center" and then click on "change adapter settings".  You should see an icon for your wireless network adapter and an icon for your 'connection to the Local network' (your Ethernet connection).

    • Right click on each of the icons, and select 'properties '.
    • There should be a list titled "this connection uses the following items."  In this list, select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)" and then click "Properties".
    • The radio buttons to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" should both selected.  If this is NOT the case, do so and OK your way out.  Furthermore, cancel your way.

If a card has been configured to use a specific IP address, your "IP address conflict" should now be fixed (you may need to restart the computer for the change to take effect).

If cards were already configured to obtain its IP address automatically, the problem lies in the configuration of your router.  You will need to access the router's Web utility to study and make changes.  To help you provide the brand and model of the router of the label on the back or the bottom.  Also do the following to a time where you have an Internet connection:

Open a command prompt window (type cmd in the search box and press enter)

    1. In the black command prompt window, type the following command, and press ENTER after each line

    ipconfig/all > "% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".

    Notepad '% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt '.

    output

    1. In the opened Notepad window, click Edit > select all (or press CTRL + A) and then click Edit > copy (or press Ctrl + C)
    2. In the body of your Question, right-click > paste (or press CTRL + V) the data of the Notepad window
    3. Close Notepad and remove ipinfo.txt from your desktop

I'm new to OSB, kindly share all good online resources that I would be a great help for me.

The "Edit references" button will appear on sbconsole. Download on sbconsole and you will be able to see the button.

If you open the XSD in the workshop (in Design view), in accordance with the "guidelines" you will be able to see imports. Click on the Browse button and it will ask you if you want to download from a HTTP URL or wish to reference in an existing workbench projects.

To be honest, it looks like to me a motherboard problem.
The error says something about conflict PCI on the motherboard.
I guess that this is related to certain components of the motherboard

You want to update the BIOS?
Hmm not sure if you could do that to be honest I put t think that this problem could be solved by upgrading the BIOS because it looks more like a hardware problem.

    Hello

The error indicates that certain devices that are directly connected to the mobo are in conflict and try to share the same resources. This happens usually when the BIOS has been incorrectly installed or the motherboard is a failure.

In case you would recommend I affecting the default BIOS. But for that you need access to the BIOS, but it seems that it's not possible.

It seems to be a motherboard problem. You said that the USB ports do not work. Perhaps this is the reason for the error message and question PCI Serial Bus Controller.
You have USB devices connected to the laptop?
If so, just unplug the laptop and check again.

But what to say; If this does not help, I see a lot of options here. In my opinion the mobo must be replaced if it s really a motherboard problem
