Restart the Ipad Mini 4?

How to restart Ipad Mini 4? After an accident?

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

    Color eyedropper tool?

If you double-click on the brush you want to use, the parameters (and color) appear.

If you QuickTap circle of color, you get a color picker

If you LongHold the color circle instead, you get a color picker...

.. .that thing you can move your screen and choose colors for the screen.  Then (bottom left) choose 'OK' (or cancel)

  • Practices for the iPad mini?

I'm in the early stages of the design of my mag for the iPad... now the mini iPad seems to be all the hype and the latest news says that the mini can sell them more.

Then... I know that the dimensions are 1 x 1 on bumping down to the small screen... but what about the sizes of fonts? What experience? Someone at - it already ahead of the game?

I have my own answers to these questions, but any one out there is best tips or links to articles they find informative...

I think 18 - pt body text is great for the iPad 2 but too small for the iPad mini. Of course, it depends on your design and what font you use, but it seems to be a good idea to bump up the font size a points of couple to account for the smaller screen.

For the same reason, be careful with the little buttons and small tap zones.

I also noticed that for some reason, the WHO and frames with scroll cles PNG/JPG look great on the iPad 2, but to watch a bit more pixelated on the iPad Mini. Maybe it's my imagination.

Make sure that you test your design on the Mini.

  • Battery saver is not available on the iPad mini

We have updated the iOS on iPad for work and when I went to turn on this subject battery saver appears even in the settings. Is this a bug or is this normal for iPad mini?

It used to be in the settings > battery.

I'm not on my iPad Pro 9.7 "with iOS 9.3.1 either.

Maybe someone else can confirm that he is no longer available?

  • How long Apple will support the iPad mini 1

    Hello fellow Apple lovers,.

for my restaurant-bussiness I need 1 or 2 very basic iPads as cash-register using Lightspeed software. There no need again, at the top of the iPad Bill.

My wholesaler suggested me 2 new iPad mini 1 which is a very affordable option. My question for you and apple is: how much time do you think this model to be supported?

Thanks in advance for your response!

    Pieter Dijkema

Apple are not here, these are user forums, you will not get a response from them.

The first generation iPad Mini supports the latest version of iOS (9.3.1), if it will support the next major release we won't know until Apple announces that it is compatible with (the speculation is not allowed on these forums). As it has only 512 meg RAM (Mini 2 and 3 have 1 gig; Mini 4 a 2 gig) is probably limited to updates of iOS it is likely to support.

  • Why the iPad Mini 4 costs the same as the iPad 2 air?

I would buy a new iPad, but I don't know which one to buy: iPad 9.7 "iPad Mini 4 and iPad Pro 2 air. It is between the Air 2 and 4 Mini, but I still don't understand why the same cost. Can someone answer this question for which I have looked everywhere for an answer but does?

Rather than the cost - my question would be:
"What are the uses I intend the iDevice?" which can help to focus your response

  • Is it possible to pair the Apple Watch with the iPad mini?

I really want to get the Apple Watch 2 when it comes out, but I'm sure that you must have an iPhone and I did not. My iPad mini has LTE and iOS 9 However and it is implemented with iMessage.

    Hello

I'm not afraid - you need an iPhone 5 or later running iOS 9 or later to associate and set up Apple Watch.

It can be combined or synchronized with any other device iOS (including iPad) or with any other Apple device (including the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, etc.).

  • What is the original reason for the iPad mini is not able to upgrade to iOS 10? Because of the low RAM? CPU?

I wish that the key to why the 10 iOS is not taken in charge on the mini original iPad. I was very excited when it was announced, because it is at the time displayed on the supported list. A while later it was removed and I am really disappointed! I love apple products, but I can't spend all my money on them. I would like to have all the answers about this.

PS - If it's the cpu that's the problem, Apple would be able to insert a command overclocking in order to boost performance a bit?  Just a thought...

We cannot discuss why it is not supported - only Apple know that & they usually don't tell. See notes on speculation about the terms of use (section 2 1.2).

    Apple Support communities use agreement

Consider that Apple will have tested and have found it did not work well, or maybe they simply decided that the aircraft was too old. You might be better to stay with your current iOS.

Apple offers no tools to overclock iOS devices or change the CPU etc - you get what you buy and it stays that way. Only the software is expandable.

  • Unavailable on the iPad mini video function

Because today, the video function on my iPad is part. This means that the word video is gone. At the opening of the camera, only photo, pano, quadrant etc. are appearing as a choice. How to bring back the video? Thank you!

Try a forced reboot and make sure that the function is displayed. This does not affect the data.

To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  • Should I get the new iPod Touch or an iPad Mini 2?

Hi, I'm tossing up between the new iPod Touch and the iPad Mini 2. I intend the device mainly for playing games and going on social media. I also want to speedy. Thank you!

Also, I currently have an iPod Touch 5 gen and his microphone does not work. I can not make voice memos, FaceTime, record sound in camera etc. If anyone has any ideas why it does not work, please let me know. I use iOS 9.3.2 and I tried to reset all the settings of the device.

    Problem with the microphone:

-Make sure that the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It's the small hole at the back of the lens of the camera (the camera back). For the 16 GB one without rear camera the hole of the microphone is on the top edge near the Center.

-Open the voice memos app and see if you see the movement on the needle of the meter GIVEN or changes in mobile graphic waveform with changes in the level of noise recording.

    Also:

-Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost

Device iOS Reset: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to

ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    -Reset all settings

Go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset all settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as your contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) are not affected.

    -Restore from backup. See:

I myself would get an iPad Mini because I find the screen of the iPod too show and difficult to use. But it really depends on your preferences. That mini iPad fits well is a pocket.
