  Problem is solved. Replaced the C:\Users\(bad user) \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\dynamiclinkmanager with \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\dynamiclinkmanager C:\Users\ (gooduser).

  I downloaded and installed Photoshop elements 12 and it works well. However, it is still a floder on my desktop called Adobe Photoshop elements 12 that contains 307 files and 144 foldes and takes 1.35 GB of space. On my drive C the Program folder files, there are 2 records related to Photoshop elements 12: is called items 12 and it contains 3960 files and 200 records; the other is called Photoshop elements 12 and contains files of 2611 and 232 cases. I guess it's these 2 folders under Program Files which contain all the necessary work files for Photoshop elements 12.

  Delete the folder on the desktop to retrieve the 1.35 GB of space?

  Hi Tom,

  Yes, you can remove the folder on the desktop as I guess this is the configuration file. I would say that to remove folder keep somewhere safe in the future if you want to reinstall so you don't have to re-download the entire product.

  The installation problem is solved!  Basically Adobe screw up. If you have Acrobat Pro and DC Acrobat installed on your machine and you want to install Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Application Manager is confused.   You must uninstall all of them first and then reinstall all the.  Sounds easy?  Well, there is the part of the trick: after uninstalling, restart, and then uninstall the next song. Don't uninstall them without restarting machine. And you must watch the following folders and manually delete the files:

  1 C:\Program Files\Adobe\

  2 C:\Programs Files Files\Adobe\

  3 C:\Programs Files (x 86) \Adobe\

  4 C:\Programs Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\

  I did everything except 2 and 4.

  I have my uncle gav a photoshop Elements 14 and said, ok, just install it and all is well.

  but after installtion, it gets the error:

  MSVCR120. DLL is missing, please reinstall the software.

  I supported this reinstall on Teamviewer, but the error is still there.

  I also installed files Redistribution of Microsoft for 64 and 32 bits, but the error remains the same.

  The system is Windows 7 64 bit - 4 GB of RAM

  So can you help me here somehow. Problem is that the Photoshop components 14 is brand new and there is no results when you do a Google search on this error.

  Hi people,

  problem is solved,

  After re install Photoshop elements 14 a couple of times and also install the redistribution of files from Microsoft to have the required DLLs in the right directories.

  Then we checked the Panel to uninstall software system.

  We saw a couple of entries doubled installed redistribution files.

  It seems that reinstall adds an additional instance to your Windows System.

  So we have uninstalled the 2 not needed to proceedings

  A reboot and it works.

  So I hope that this information will help you too.

  So, when you get the error Ms... DLL is missing, check your system control panel to uninstall the software. If there is more than one entry for redistribution files (Microsoft Visual Studio 2012,2013... Libs). Get rid of duplicate entries, and then it should work.

  A single user license for activating facilities on both machines. A license of elements allows for each platform in many cases (recently not the case from what I've seen).  If you have the disc, see if it contains the Mac installation files... If not then you should be able to install them via download as well.  I can't answer with any certainty to the last question because it depends on the previous question.  Personally, I wouldn't let an inexpensive piece of software not dictate a decision to purchase expensive equipment.
