  When you installed the trial, it should have been an option for ignoring your current installation and let. Apparently you skipped this case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to control panel > programs and features and select XI Acrobat and choose uninstall. After uninstallation, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in this window, do not run the vacuum cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.

  You did not mention the old version you had. You could try http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. With respect to S/N, you should have the registry and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.

  Be sure to save any download of the old Installer and the S/N for CD or HD backup for future use. They will likely not be available.

  What I did:

  (1) installed Photoshop CC 2014 creative cloud.

  (2) removed Photoshop CC.

  Now, I want to re install Photoshop CC because not all of my extensions are compatible with Photoshop CC 2014.

  I don't want to uninstall Photoshop CC 2014 and I would also keep Photoshop CC 2014 my default Photoshop app launched LR and bridge.

  How can I do this?

  It works to open the desktop app CC (Adobe Creative cloud with the icon of the interlocking C) and change the filter to find new applications of all applications from the previous Version?  PS - CC is, then?  Yet the CC - PS and PS - CC 2014 installed so I can not verify this, myself.

  Yesterday, I installed Photoshop Elements 10 and first 10 elements. After installation, whenever I log on my user account in Windows 7, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! It is said further program: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe... This application has requested the execution to terminate in an unusual way. For more information, contact the application support team. In addition to logging on the windows account, the same error sometimes occurs when Photoshop elements Organizer, editor and Premier elements is started. My wife has a different account in windows and does not receive this error in any of the above cases. After clearing the error, I seem to be able to use the programs, but that happens from time to time.

  What can I do to fix the installation? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem remains. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you.

  Problem is solved. Replaced the C:\Users\(bad user) \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\dynamiclinkmanager with \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\dynamiclinkmanager C:\Users\ (gooduser).

• Problem with screen resolution after installing Photoshop CC 2015

  I've recently updated my Photoshop by installing Photoshop CC 2015.  It works very well, but all aspects of the view appear oversized, including text, icons, tools, panels, etc.  Change the font size in the preferences has no impact.  It seems that the Photoshop screen resolution has been changed, but none of my other programs were affected.  Running Windows 7 Ultimate on a Hewlett-Packard PC.  Would appreciate any advice.

  Only, I have solved my problem.  I went to the Interface edition/preferences /.  Under scaling of the user interface, the default setting is Auto.  I chose 100%, Photoshop is restarted, and I was back to the view I'm used to that.

• Folder on the desktop after installing Photoshop Elements 12

  I downloaded and installed Photoshop elements 12 and it works well. However, it is still a floder on my desktop called Adobe Photoshop elements 12 that contains 307 files and 144 foldes and takes 1.35 GB of space. On my drive C the Program folder files, there are 2 records related to Photoshop elements 12: is called items 12 and it contains 3960 files and 200 records; the other is called Photoshop elements 12 and contains files of 2611 and 232 cases. I guess it's these 2 folders under Program Files which contain all the necessary work files for Photoshop elements 12.

  Delete the folder on the desktop to retrieve the 1.35 GB of space?

  Hi Tom,

  Yes, you can remove the folder on the desktop as I guess this is the configuration file. I would say that to remove folder keep somewhere safe in the future if you want to reinstall so you don't have to re-download the entire product.

  After the upgrade to Vista on Satellite * 207-A100 PSAA8E-180049EN *, display adapter "* Mobile Intel (r) Express Chipset Family 945GM *" does not work. In Device Manager, it says "* this device cannot find enough free resources that it can use." (Code 12). " By using the Vista driver from Toshiba Web site and also tired last driver from the Intel Web site without result. Re-installed all the Vista drivers in the order recommended on the site Web of Toshiba. Also tried several removal and re-additons of the different drivers, nothing works.

  If anyone out there has the same model, I would be grateful if you could send a screenshot of Device Manager (reduced to display the secondary devices under main devices). Also a second snapshot of Device Manager, showing resources (Device Manager / View / resources by type). My e-mail address is: [email protected].

  You don't need to uninstall the copy of XP

  Just install Windows 7 and do not forget to format the drive during installation.

  You will lose also all the other data on this drive.

  For all versions of CS2 and earlier activation servers have been downgraded.  They will not return, ever.  Your CS is no longer useful.

  However, Adobe has provided the CS2 versions that you can download and do not require activation, just a generic special registration code you can use for the installation.

  Adobe has disabled the server activation for CS2, including Acrobat 7, due to a technical problem. These products have been released more than seven years ago, do not run several modern operating systems and are no longer supported.

  Adobe strongly discourages running software not caring and obsolete. Below serial numbers must be used only by customers who bought legitimately (or earlier) CS2 or Acrobat 7 and the need to maintain their current use of these products.
