  Now when you restart the application, all preferences must be restored to its original state.

  You realize even * as * an admininstrator - in Windows 7, you're not REALLY complete administrator without disabling UAC (which is not my market to follow recommended action for most people.)

  You say, 'another example' - but I'm not sure that you have provided one. Heh

  What exactly you see makes you think you screwed up permissions?  What do you have to file/folder permissions and why did you start to do?

  As you can imagine, the period is punctuation by default. You can view the attributes for the basic_lexer, followed by their default values here:

  So, if you reset the attributes for punctuation for your lexer to just the question mark and exclamation point, then it works as you want, as shown below. You can see the tokens that are created as a result of indexing by selecting Dr.$ symbolic column of the Dr.$ your_index_name$ I index of area table. Keep in mind that, if you are looking for any word which is the last word in a sentence, followed by a period, you will now have to include this period, or a wildcard character in your search.

Each type of device (temperature monitor, meter) has its own sub - VI (or better a vi model) for the configuration. The Subvi takes an address gpib only as a parameter. The vi is loaded in the secondary, the user is able to change the configuration via the controls on the front panel.   Have you considered using a trigger on the table instead of setting these values from the app? A few advantages are: less logical in the app, especially if these inserts/changes can come from several pages, and once the trigger is implemented it will define values independently from changes and insertions (your form, another form, a non-ApEx client app, etc.).
