If your Windows XP license is OEM, it only could be installed on a PC and could not transfer to another PC. In the case of FPP, which is in the package, this is possible. If your license if full package your could try to activate by phone. Try contacting Microsoft support in your country.

  • Adobe Photoshop elements 13 installation on new computer

This is probably a question of simple-stupid, but I sure need help... I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 drive several years ago and upgraded to Adobe Photoshop elements 13 in 2014 by downloading the upgrade from the Adobe site.  Now, I bought a new computer and want to install Adobe Photoshop elements 13.  I accessed my account on Adobe and downloaded the 2 files.  When I try to run the downloaded files, I get an error that the files of archive are missing.  It dawned on me that I have to install the OLD Elements 8 records first, before downloading the upgrade of 13 elements, perhaps?  That's what I have to do, or is there another question?  Thank you in advance for any help!

If your program is Photoshop Elements, you posted in the wrong forum. Some how your son got posted in the Forum Adobe Premiere elements (video editing). Please re-post your thread in the Forum of Adobe Photoshop elements to take advantage of the expertise, it. Photoshop Elements

Here's my view on this situation you describe.

Photoshop Elements 8 and 13 are produced autonomous and each should have a number of different order.

If you went to the 'my orders' of Adobe and number of order and meetings for Photoshop elements 13, then you should have the installation of Photoshop elements 13 files.

You have bought for Photoshop elements 13 serial number? This is a must have.

As a general rule, 2 installation files that are compatible with your operating system... you download files of 64 bits for 64-bit computers.

Then, you want the two files with the .exe file extension (which is required to extract the files in the other .7z file, which is the program. After they are downloaded on the computer (computer desktop for example), you first double-click the .exe and follow the instructions from there.

Please consider and clarify where the above does not match what has happened to you.

If you cannot get the files from 'My orders' Adobe for some reason but still have purchased 13 serial number, you can use the obtained from 13 installation files

  • Incorrect fonts after LabView installation on new computer

I just got a new computer and installed LabView 2010 (same version as on my old computer).

On the new computer, it seems that all the fonts, on the front panels and block diagrams, are too big. See the attached images of VI even open on both computers. My old computer is running Windows XP and the new Windows 7 computer.

What could be? It would be a lot of work for me to manually fix the fonts.

If you don't set a specific font for your group, the "application font" used by LabVIEW is all that is defined for the windows theme.

Obviously, the two machines stand out here.

I agree that the fonts are one of the weakest points of LabVIEW, so if you feel the same way, voting for a few related ideas:

  • C3180 installation on new computer Windows 8

I bought a new computer Windows 8 two weeks ago and was offered a wireless all in one printer to a competitor for $19. I couldn't turn that down, but now that the chaos of implementing a new p/c and learning a new operating system is installed, I want to connect my C3180 I used on my XP machine.  I don't want any more surprises!  What should I do?  It just will install itself when I plug in the USB cable, or I'll have to download the drivers, or something equivalent to a Windows 8 install disc?  I was wondering what to expect.  I don't want any more smileyvery-happy stress:

    Thank you.  He got operational.

Another question.  I looked everywhere in the center of need, but I can't find a way to change the destination for my scans folder.  Are there?

Update: stop the search! I found it

I had to take new shortcuts for each type of analysis I.  I thought that was rather complicated.  I want just all my scans to go in a folder of my choice.

  • Switch from Vista Home Premium to new computer

Apologies that this has probably been asked many times before, but my searches have confused only me!

I have a PC with Vista installed which unfortunately is intended for large COMPUTING service in the sky. I can always start, etc. but there hardware and software issues. I bought a new PC under DOS only - I use especially a laptop under Win 8.1, so the PC is used by my wife - and I want to move the Vista operating system from the old to the new PC. The old HD is a bit dodgy and fine, I don't want to move in the new PC HARD drive, not least on the basis of lack of capacity of the HARD drive. I have an installation disc that came with the old PC and an activation code, but after so many years I don't remember whether or not the operating system has been pre-installed. I guess not, because I have a drive?

Simple question: what can I a) uninstall Vista on the old PC (it has been re-installed over there several times over the years) and reinstall on the new PC, search for Service Packs thereafter. or b) I will save money by using Linux (which is not not a geek, I just don't understand!) "I hope that the experts will say option one)...

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Older computers have come with disk or a recovery Partition.

It's something you need to know; as to whether or not it was preinstalled or OEM System Builders license.

Where you have the product key?

Is there a COA sticker on the casing of the computer with the product key?

And what is written on the DVD?

The COA sticker is on the underside of your laptop or in the battery compartment.

With a desktop computer, it's on the side, the back or the top of the computer case.

This is the information that you need, but depends on the type of license Windows, but also to find out if you can transfer it to another machine.

If the laptop/computer came with preinstalled Windows operating system (Dell, HP, Acer, etc.), this product key provided with your computer/laptop to the OEM license preinstalled and is not transferable.

OEM license/product key (systems of operating pre-installed on Dell, HP, etc.) is related to the first machine it is installed on and dies when dies of this machine.

If it were licensed OEM System Builders that someone bought and installed themselves as the foregoing also applies to this

Only retail Operating System license that you buy and install yourself, are allowed to be transferred to another machine.

And retail licenses also can be installed on a machine at one time.

    See you soon

I assume that 10 items will be ok as a facility on the right!

You only need to install the LR5, but you will LR3 and LR5 serial numbers.

Versions of Windows beyond Windows XP are not entirely compatible with Acrobat 6. The first version of Acrobat that is supported by Windows 7 is Acrobat 8.1 (is no longer licensed by Adobe). The latest version of Acrobat: Acrobat Columbia, six versions more recent than Acrobat 6. You need to upgrade to get all the features of Acrobat.

  • Instalation of Windows XP Home, but I lost the product key. My old computer died. How do I install it in a new computer.

I have Windows XP Home Edition Cd. But I lost the product key. My old computer is ded. How do I install it in a new computer.

If your XP is preinstalled on your old computer, it is an OEM installation and cannot be moved to the new.

If you bought a copy retail full XP, then your key should be in the case of CD holding the disc.

If you have lost you don't have a chance and will need to purchase a new license for Windows. MS sells more than XP, and in stores, stocks are running out. eBay (and other sites) lists the number of available items - which most is a counterfeit.

You should consider buying a newer OS, assuming that your hardware is compatible.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium new computer question

    Hello

I have a question about whether or not I can reuse my Windows 7 Home Premium CD on a new computer.

I checked several questions asked by users, and there are conflicting answers.

I bought the product 4 years ago I think and used on a single PC that has recently had the mother go out. So I decided to buy a new integrated computer, custom, and I need to know if I can reuse my CD with Windows 7.

There was an answer I have been see is that you can reuse the CD with Windows 7 on up to three computers at different times, but I would need to contact Microsoft to renew the activation key. Other responses indicated that only 1 product by PC and some up to three computers at the same time is possible.

I need a clear answer, I am able to use my Windows 7 Home Premium CD on a new computer because my old one died?

Depends on if it is OEM, full retail or upgrade.

If OEM, it lives and dies with the first motherboard installed on.

If it is upgraded, there must be a qualification in retail Vista or XP in order for him to be moved to another PC, even if the qualification does not need to be reinstalled first.  New installation with a Version of Windows 7 upgrade

If it's full retail, it can move anywhere you want, as often as you wish.  If online activation fails, just use the telephone option and always reply that it is installed on a PC to pass.

  • How to transfer Windows 7 Professional to new computer running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium?

WE HAVE CURRENTLY USING WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL. WE BOUGHT A NEW COMPUTER AND NEED TO TRANSFER THE WINDOWS 7 ON NEW OLD COMPUTER WILL NOT BE USED.  THE NEW MACHINE IS CURRENTLY RUNNING WINDOWS 7 HOME.  WE CAN NOT FIND THE DISK AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT WE MUST DO TO TRANSFER WINDOWS PROFESSIONAL. THE DISCS ARE SOLD FOR $200.00 AT THE STORE, BUT SINCE WE USE IT ALREADY, I THOUGHT, HE COULD BE TRANSFERRED?

It is a copy of the retail of Windows 7 Professional store bought? If so, you can try to recover the product key and make an Express upgrade on the new machine:

Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:
    Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
(He did a good job of providing a wealth of information.)

    Also: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
    and: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html
and RockXP: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4138.html which has additional features.

If Windows 7 Professional came preloaded on the old machine you cannot upload it:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Edition Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional your files, programs and settings retained.
