retina iMac 5K AMD Radeon graphics card will be a problem for first Pro CC and AE?
So far, I had no problem all editing of images 4K scaled down in 1080 p timelines in Adobe first Pro CC on my 2012 iMac i7 with these specs:
Now I am considering upgrading to the iMac 5 K retina with the following maximum out-of-specs:
• I will be maxing out the DDR3 RAM 32 GB with third-party RAM sticks, probably OWC.
But I read in various forums that even the iMac of retina 5K upgrade AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4 GB memory GDDR5 graphics card would not be able to handle video editing in Premiere Pro or AE CC effects. That would require an NVIDIA card that Apple chose to end their 5 K retina iMac. I guess that I can't understand how a 2014 maxed out retina 5K iMac would not at least as powerful as a 2012 iMac i7.
As I use programs Adobe CC to my creative work, I don't want to upgrade to an iMac that can't handle 4 K editing in a 1080 p timeline just because of a change in graphics cards.
What are your thoughts? Anyone working in first Pro CC in view of the retina of the iMac?

I have an imac of retina. Since the day I bought it new, I also had new harman/kardon talking plugged into the headphone jack. This has worked well for more than a year or two. Recently, I noticed an occasional static or pop. It is not very strong, it's just boring. I went to make sure that the headphone jack was still firmly inserted on the speakers and a very strong buzz takes place when you first insert the speakers. To be fair, makes the noise even if I touch just the end of the shooting (of speakers), as if my human energy is impacting on the speakers. Is this normal?
Everything seems to work very well for most Park with the imac and the speakers, once I insert them. But they are a very strong when buzz jack of first contact with the helmet of the imac. In addition, it seems to be a very slight whistle full time air and occasional pop of static sound.
I moved the speaker wire to ensure that they were not in contact with anything whatsoever.
I changed the plug for the speakers.
I did a reset of the PRAM.
I did a reset of the SCM.
Another thing before I wrap up this thing and go through the genius bar appointment process? Everything I am on?

The short answer is no the explanation is that the headphones and speakers, both, must be in the State of "Turn off" when you connect or plug in the unit. Amplified as helmet speakers power can be "plugged hot."
These phone can get dirty sitting and not mobile. Simply power off all devices and 'gently' work the phone jack to plug and unplug some times help you to establish a better connection. If this does not resolve the static electricity, then consider that it should be considered by a professional.

So I just upgraded my MBP to the top of the line 27 inch iMac Retina. In addition to a few minor problems, something that I noticed is the fan noise and heat from the iMac. Of the main reasons that I upgraded was because my MBP would burn my lap (or office) after about 3 minutes and do summer doing nothing more to boot the system. Essentially, the iMac was good. Now have a desktop computer, I decided to try to get a few games on my new computer. I downloaded Steam and booted up Smite. Subject to halfway through a football game, the fan is spent in speed and was clearly audible even on game noise, and when I felt the back of the computer (just below where the stand connects), I noticed that the area around the rear vent has been very warm to the touch. I know that Mac are not necessarily built for the games, but I thought maxing out the graphics processor when I bought the computer don't give me no problem playing a game such as Smite. (Admittedly, my knowledge of specifications and technical stuff is practically zero, so it was just me assuming that.) Should I worry about the computer being hot like this? The computer is less than a week, and I don't want to jeopardise his longevity by burning upwards. If there are ideas about how to prevent overheating without turning to a third party software, that would be great. I just want to know if the computer will be fine this treatment on a regular basis or if I should look back to another computer. Thank you!
Note: even outside of the game, it is always moderately hot in this area of the computer. Nothing too hot to the touch, but still seems to us excessive as not really using any juice on all programs or substantive functions.
First do a search on the web and install a controller of temperature on your new iMac.
I don't know what's available for OS X El Capitan.
For the time, anything more than 70 degrees C (160 degrees Fahrenheit or greater) is bad.
I always use a control software of fans for my older iMacs 2009 and 2010.
Again, do a web search for a software compatible with OS X El Cap control fans.
Guard SMC fan control always the fans run all the time on my older iMac.
I have the RPM value (between1500-1700 RPM) kind of feeding my iMac and the GPU diode (these are the hottest components of equipment running in an iMac) stay, more or less, in the range of 45-50 degrees C. This brings time and my hard drive CPU below 40 degrees C (less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit).
The key is to not to run the internal fans at a speed that transforms them by sucking dust vacuums.
iMacs heat!

Apple is too fixed on chassis and quiet computer operation more thin and thinner than on the question of if rather excessive internal heat builds up inside any computer Mac is sufficient to cause the early, premature component failures.
Heat is the ENEMY of all electronic component small hardware!
I like the idea of my iMac slow roasting its internal components, AT ALL!
iMacs is WAY TOO hot for my comfort and too hot to suspected is not that many component failures hardware iMac maybe heat associated with. Premature failure especially in the optical drive, internal hard drive AND GPU early or logic board failures.
In addition to the implementation of internal fans control software,
Go out and buy like a small desk fan (something like Vornado fans) and place it in the back near the area that gets the hottest.
That's what I did and it allows for my iMac run more fees.
You will not have a silent computer longer, but your iMac will certainly run cooler and, perhaps, to extend its longevity.

race of retina iMac 5 k very slow!
I bought this iMac a year - 1/2 years ago. The first months worked well. But since then, it is incredibly slow! It takes forever for anything either load, the beachball showing constantly and is even when you type. My internet connection is fine, so is not. I called Apple support last year and the diagnostic test came back as ADPOOO (no problem) and Apple support person told me to reboot and press a few keys shortcut (don't remember now) and it seemed to solve the problem... If only temporarily! The question came back quickly and I got frustrated and ended up not using my computer much and just use my ipad and iphone instead. Now I need to use my computer and the problem is obviously still there. I could call the Support, but this time that it will cost $40, so I'll do this as a last resort if I can't find a solution here. I have attached the report of EtreCheck below. If someone could help me I would be very grateful!

Correctly, uninstall the security software.
If you do not know how, do a web search to find how to properly uninstall the security software.
It is not necessary on Mac and OS X and use all the resources of your Mac.
If you really need the security of your computer, change the security setting inside the software for your Internet MODEM/router.

I upgraded my iMac 21.5 inch to screen non-retina model iMac (late 2011) a model of retina display 4K (end of 2015).
In the old iMac, the actual size of the image displayed properly in the Photoshop window. In the new iMac, same exact image is the view to the actual pixels of 1/3 format.
The computers running OS X El Capitan, 10.11.5 with Photoshop CS6 v 13.0.6 version version x 64.
I don't want to subscribe to the iCloud version. Is there a solution to this display problem?

Hi I am upgrading to a 27-inch iMac. Initially, I was getting a 32 gig, Dr. Flash 512 with a 4 gig Nvidia card. I was about to order the iMac with nvidia and Apple said they have improved their iMacs and iMac with nvidia 4 GB is no longer available.
my sales representative can get me a 27 iMac 5 k of the retina with an AMD Radeon r9 m295x gddr5.
ppcc2014 would argue this card?

According to the requirements of System. Adobe Premiere Pro we have not tested the Radeon R9 M295x with PP CC 2014, but I think that this would be done for the next version. I still prefer to use the one with the NVIDIA card but.

I understand that Creative Suite CS66 has been updated to handle the retina standard size on Mac screens. I wonder if anyone has tried using the CS6 software (mainly PS, ID, HAVE) on the new iMac with the retina display 5 k?
If so, everything looks small or is it clearly furred?

CS6 inDesign does not support the Retina displays. You must have at least Adobe InDesign CC.
Some applications start with CS6, such as Photoshop or Illustrator.
Some more later, Dreamweaver with CC2014.
Support of retina poster needs a new programming complete, it has not been possible to do with ID CS6.

retina iMac with wireless mouse problems
Since I use el capitan intermittently my wireless mouse goes crazy. When you try to connect it begins to fill in the space. Make a stop down then its ok for a few days. When connected to the photo and right click on a photo to go to the adjacent photo the cursor moves his own in a space photo 10 away! The only thing I can do is arrested once more. Took my iMac three times at apple store, but not solved. Any ideas?

iMac 21.5 "retina - HARD drive upgrade and / or install the Fusion drive?

I recently bought a retina-iMac 21.5 "(fin 2015 obvs), without realizing it when I did so that it came with a slow hard disk 5400 RPM that will larn me - do your research the next time Cameron!" In any case, I'm trying to sell it, but my search for a buyer continues, I also try to establish - without much success until now - if a hard drive upgrade and/or installation of a fusion player any is possible. I am aware that the RAM in this model is not extensible.

Impossible to watch this movie because its on a screen that is not allowed to play protected movies try to move this window to a different display or disconnect any display that is not authorized HDCP
The thing is all my movies are purchased on iTunes, it is a release of the iMac box with nothing plugged it's the iMac screen im trying to observe the content on I tried you tube all formats up to 4 k work fine netflix nothing works at all the sd 1080 p or 4 k
Ive looked everywhere for a result on this and all I get are converters video but that's not normal, it's something apple it must play on computers apple Ive been on AppleCare, but they think it could be the graphics card does anyone have a fix which is not the third-party solution, it should work on the box

IMAC 5 K keeps disconnecting me for a month
For about 1 month, I continue to be disconnected from my retina IMAC, running EL Captain 10.11.5. Ive tried views uncheck have separate areas and Ive also disconnected a separate display, I used so don't think that this is the problem. This not is not updated software because the Appstore brings Im uptodate. Its infuriating I lose everything that my installation of spaces and all web pages must refresh when I launch safari and chrome. Why this just started happening very welcome ideas? I have another user logged in sometimes on the mac and they never get disconnected!

I copied the files on my computer to work on a USB device using robocopy. When I try to use robocopy to copy these files the USB device on my computer at home I get the following error message; "ERROR: you do not have the right of user manage audit."

Can not download updates without having to download Windows 10
I had to uninstall/reinstall Office 2010. So I thought I'd better get all the updates for these programs. I went to Windows update and checked all of the updates, but when I started to download, Windows 10 starts to download. I don't want Windows 10!
