Retrieve an IP address from the IP pool allocated for ESXi VTEP
I had a Pool of IP of 5 addresses that have been assigned to my ESXi 5 hosts. Then, I messed up the port VTEP vmkernel on one of the ESXi servers. Only, I was able to fix by adding another IP to the IP address Pool range and then force a sync. Now, I have a Pool of IP show 6 of 6 IP addresses allocated when actually I only have 5 of the 6 allocated to the ESXi hosts. Is it possible for me to get the IP address 6th in the pool that shows always allocated?
Thank you

its in the API doc page 106. Of course you will need first to the ID of the pool. Let me know if you need help with the steps. HTH, Roland

Client DHCP is unable to get a valid IP address from the DHCP server.
Client DHCP is unable to get a valid IP address from the DHCP server. I have a home edition of Windows XP attempts to connect to my router wirelessly with wireless or wired connection but I get an error in Event Viewer with the discription DHCP 1007 error message. From what I researched, I discovered that the DHCP service depends on the AFD, TCP/IP and NetBT services. All these services are correctly place and worked very well (even the DHCP service is running without error) but every time I try to release/renew my IP address I receive than DHCP warning in the case where the viewer and I just cannot get a valid IP address of the server (router) I also have one of these verizon wireless G3 usb adapters and it works fine. I also have a good ping back when I try to do a ping localhost (for the closure) I also tried the preinstallation of uninstalled drivers from the adapter/s and nothing works. The only entrees in the registry for DHCP error are also AFD, NetBT and TCP/IP nothing else there, also all the files in the/system32/drivers afd.sys netbt.sys and tcpip.sys in addition to solve the problem, I'll mention that I installed and reinstalled Northon earlier, I do not remember if the problem appears before or after that. I receive also any error or warning in the security log or at least I don't know how to read: P
Thanks in advanceThanks for the information.
I hope you know that it is risky to connect the laptop to the Internet with no firewall and no antivirus... If this laptop is already connected to the Internet in this State, he is perhaps already infected.
You said you know the router works because the other computers can connect successfully to it. You should check the configuration of the router to make sure that it is not configured to limit the number of IP address it supplies, and (b) it is not configured to filter users by MAC address.
When this laptop is connected by Ethernet, even if he gets the IP address of 169.254.x.y, can you ping the router? Find the IP address of the router on any computer connected to it by running the ipconfig command in a command prompt window. The "default gateway" is the IP address of the router. Run the ping command in the command prompt window as well.
If the ping is successful, it is possible that you might be able to use an IP address in the correct range for an Ethernet cable (but I doubt that it works for the wireless).

I'm running Vista Ultimate, -connection (Ethernet) with Verizon FIOS I ran a Norton registry clean and foolishly trust what he says to remove.
At first, all of my USB cards have been screwed up (noted in the Device Manager with exclamation next to each one points)
I did a system restore and that corrects this problem, but now I'm having a problem with my network card.

I went throughD-Link Tech router (router) support is good, Fios Tech support everything set up right, - Norton support(Norton denies that the files were not to be touched-although their report shows these registry files were deleted)-Dell Tech support because my warranty missed 3 weeks ago - although I still have the "your Tech Support team until 2013 - which is valid only if you have a hardware warranty-made no sense sold me the car without. the engine - directed the FTC to bring a complaint about it - after I get this fixed number.
I hope someone can help... by the way I get perfectly in line with my laptop - I know this isn't my router. I'm sure it's due to some registry files being moved-(j'ai eu deles de messages d'erreur indiquant que les fichiers de Registre ont été endommagées ou manquantes) what do I do now? No system restore to restore this part of the register - I also installed the drivers from the dell drivers and Utilities disc - but maybe I've done that correctly? I put the disc - extract files-(he says they have been unpacked) was a new step for me to do after that? Help, please!
Thank you!HelloWe recommend that you install the router (see its manual) and the pilot of NIC once more and check the difference. In the first post, you mentioned that you decompressed or extracted files. Once the files are extracted, you will be asked to install the driver. However if you do not receive any prompts for the driver, then you will need to locate the destination folder where the files are checked to find the configuration file.
Open the destination folder where the files are extracted and run the Setup file to complete the installation. To download and install the latest network card driver, visit the site Web of the manufacturer of the device or system. For more information on downloading and installing the drivers, visit this link:

The best flexibility might always have the ability to add individual addresses from a group list to any email, so the list can then be cut. Or only the address list in the list group selected as a list of checkboxes (all checked by default) if the user can deselect those who should not be included in the list of email recipients. THX

How to retrieve text messages deleted from the Iphone 5
How to retrieve deleted messages of I Phone 5?
Unfortunately there is no way to recover messages text deleted from an iPhone, unless you had a previous backup in iTunes before delete you messages. Restore this backup would be the only way to recover deleted messages. Once they are deleted they are gone forever, unlike the Photos that you can pick up if accidentally deleted by restoring their from the album "recently deleted".

Virtual machines do not get IP address from the DHCP server
Hello! I just spend Xenserver to ESXi. Created a couple of virtual machines and none of them gets an IP address from our DHCP server (DHCP server is a physical PC), and instead, they get a number of internal 192.168.x.y allowing connection to the internet.
Looks like a way to do this is to install a virtual machine that is a router, as M0n0wall, and route traffic to connect to the external network and finally to access internet. But this is not what I have to do.
I need to have virtual machines that are server to get an IP reserved for our DHCP server, and then our local windows client should be able to access it directly.
I searched on google and forums for this but I can't seem to find how to configure virtual machines to directly belong to our local network.
I thought that VMware would have a simpler way to do so than XenServer, but I was stuck on this one day now and really frustrated as I get not before with this project, stuck on this little problem... sigh...
Thanks for your help.
GER.
ESXi does not IP addresses to the virtual machines it host - if the virtual machines are not able to access your physical network than that of the thw two virtual machines acts as a DHCP server - now to the question of network - if you are not able to reach the virtual machines on the physical network or achieve fitness network virtual machines , then there is a problem with the physical connection to the ESXi host, possibly the configuration of the physical port that connects to the - is a way to test this theory to assign an IP address on the same network that the management port - if you are able to access the virtual machine, then you know that the problem is with the switch port.

I saw this question posted several times here, but I can't find someone who has exactly the same problem I have.
This problem started a week ago. Basically, my computer loses its connection ethernet once per hour to around the same exact time. which is only for about 5 seconds, but it's enough to get Skype and other things while I'm working, and it's very frustrating because I use Skype to talk with customers, and it looks unprofessional when my calls fall every single time. my computer can also use wireless (which does not go down), but he's too unstable for my work.
now on the error message I posted. I get this error in my observer of events in about 30 minutes until my ethernet goes down, so I don't know if they are interlaced or not, because I don't get any errors when my ethernet really crashes.
Here's what I've tried so far without success:
-temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus
-updated driver for both my wired network cards and wireless (both were UTD)
I don't know what to do because I've never had this problem before.
Here is some information on my computer if that helps all:
OS: windows 7 Home premium (x 64-bit)
computer model: gateway DX4870
Look on the side of the router and make sure that the DHCP lease time has not set to 60 minutes. As a simple solution you can just assign a reserved DHCP or a static address to the computer (in the router).
PS: You'll find the DHCP lease on the map with the command ipconfig/all command at a command prompt

Where can I buy apps from the Store of Windows for Windows Surface RT?
Is there a "Store" or a "Microsoft Store" where can I buy Apps, music, movies, ect. with the Windows Surface RT? So anything that's comparable with Apple's iTunes Store?
If so, are there gift cards, as Apple has for the iTunes Store and buy in stores at random?
Windows 8/RT software is based entirely around shop Windows for the supply and installation of applications and RT, this is the only way to install the programs anyway.
It's early days yet for the store to have gift cards etc., iTunes took awhile to get to the stadium, which was pulled by the market for music on an iPod in hand, although it has grown more far. Microsoft has unfortunately split this market that music is via XBox that is separate from the Windows Store, so it can not happen in the same way. Same movies are on XBox but there is also a Netflix App so it is not related to a supplier who could work a choice anyway, but no mass down.
