  These cats are not recoverable I would say.

  I honestly do not remember on BBM for Android if the history of cats is a feature or an option.

  Open your BBM and check the settings for BBM... you have an option to enable chat history saving?

• Cannot open the iMessage without wifi

  Strange situation. I have an iPhone and the iPad.

  I accidentally deleted some messages of iMessage for the iPhone.

  I have not turned on the iPad in several months, so I don't know the messages I deleted are always on the iPad. I want to recover the contents of these messages. The iPad has wifi turn off - it is in airplane mode, so it will not synchronize with iCloud and lose messages.

  However, when I turn on the iPad and go in iMessage, it appears a dialog box saying "sign in with your Apple ID to activate iMessage» But I can't go past it because the wifi is turned off. And if I turn it on, it will synchronize with ICloud and 'remove' these messages off the iPad also...

  Is there some way I can open iMessage without login or retrieve those deleted messages that are always on the iPad?

  FYI, messages are not synchronized with iCloud.

  I noticed today that for a single contact, if I try to go back in the history of my conversation in iMessage, it will not load the previous messages.  However, and this is where it gets strange... random, it seems that if this person sends me a text, if I'm fast enough and sliding down to the previous loading messages, load them but it stop again.  That said, I don't get the rotation icon showing that it will load more messages.

  I found some interesting things:

  • Time of the message sent from the last post on the page continues to change!
  • My iPad use iMessage also - and even contact is affected on my iPad - just a touch...
  • Can I use spotlight search and retrieve message history/conversation with this contact, but only to the point where I was able to do load the previous messages (example so: I could see a message in the search for more 3 years!)  but I couldn't see it, I could only view the research conversation if I had previously loaded - if really there from a month - it's that I had loaded messages at the time where he randomly gave me of)

  Things I've tried:

  • Hard reset
  • Power off and power on
  • Turn off iMessage and restarts
  • Checked to make sure that I have enough space - I have 63GB available on my iPhone

  I think this is a bug in the iOS 10 but I am hopeful that someone here might know of the issue and how to solve.  Maybe an indexing problem?  I do not know.  Any help would be highly appreciated.

  I am a very private person and feel somehow I had my privacy violated and worries me also pay Apple which I've also put in place related to my new Apple ID.

  Messages of spam of all kinds are sent to hundreds of thousands of all the days of phones. Spammers don't care even if it is a valid number. Messages eventually went to a hundred random numbers at a time. Your number just happened to be one of these random numbers. Just delete the message and never interact with these spam messages.

My FaceTime work again very well. So this afternoon I was looking for solutions to this problem. Many people suggested closing iMessage and FT, then by restarting my phone, I did. But when I turned my phone on iMessage and FT wouldn't activate. Since then the iMessages and FT have tried to activate, but kept a failure, errors, or servers have failed. I can't send messages or FaceTime anyone.

  Ignition and extinction of iMessage/FT

  I also try to discuss with the Apple Support, but it takes awhile.

  I have an iPhone running iOS 9.3.2 5s and I'm having a problem with a group chat. So there are 8 people in the chat (we all iPhones) and everything was going well until one person said something and a whole new chat started with the same people in the original cat but he entitled 'group '. I thought that the person who did this was the person who said something in the new Cat in the first place, but they took a screenshot and sent him and he showed the new cat with me saying something first and all the chat bubbles are green.   So, here's my problem: when I go to iMessages, click on a newsgroup, and then click on details, it won't give me the opportunity to leave the conversation or add a contact.   If you had a backup in iCloud or iTunes that contain messages you can restore the backup device to retrieve messages.

  There is no way Apple supported to retrieve messages, even if you have them on the Mac.

  Historical calls is related to icloud.

  There are a lot of scam 3rd party paid software out there that claim to be able to retrieve messages, but I've still seen no claim they work...
