"Power surge on Hub Port - a USB device has exceeded the limits of its hub port power. Help for this problem, click this message. "
If I click on the message and reset the ports, but it does not solve cant someone help? More importantly, should I send to lenovo to get a new motherboard?

IPv6Ah yes before you say it on the hard drive of the BIOS is classified more than IPv4/6

Hello! without doubt, you went to 5FCN95WW BIOS, haven't you? you need to spend in startup mode in the BIOS. I can't remember which option is enabled by default, but there are only two of them - UEFI and legacy. you need to change to one that is not set by default
In addition, you need to know 5FCN95WW is buggy, and downgraded to 5FCN35WW would be your best bet. Once you sort the boot problem, consult this guide to downgrade: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/Guide-BIOS-Downgrade-from-5FCN95WW-to-5FCN35WW/...

Help with Lenovo Z580 low fps...
I have Lenovo Z580 with
4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
I5 - 3210M
NVIDIA GT 630M 1 GB DDR3
HARD DRIVE 500 GB
Windows 7 Home BasicSo I think that my gpu (GT 630 M 1 GB DDR3) is the limitation because any game starts with fps... for example BFBC2 initially runs with 55 + FPS... but suddenly, after a few minutes, as after 30 minutes it gets very hot (80-90 degrees celsius) and fps drop near 35 fps... then I unplug the adapter then reconect and then I get high fps(50-60) for a few seconds and then a low fps... up to what the heck is the problem... I think that its limitation... any ways remedy?
Well the fix was easy... I just openedd the front back and used my mouth to blow air on the fans... while maintaining it with scissors... and then I blew air through the holes to the van... a lot of dust came out and now no problem!

How to make the recovery of the system on Lenovo z580
Hello
Can someone explain how to do a factory reset on the Lenovo Z580.
I've been using laptops from sony, and it's my first lenovo...

Follow these steps
1 backup all your data in the C drive.
2. shut down the computer.
3. remove all external media except the charger.
4. after removing, press the small button with a "top-down next to the switch.
5. the normal BIOS screen would occur and then the "windows loading files" show. Wait, it starts.
6. after starting, click option 2, that says onekey recovery.
7. check the initial backup and click Next. Two guests would occur. Respond accordingly.
8. now recovery would begin
That's how the reset is made. -
Satellite A100: Error power USB from standby after update BIOS 5.20
Hello
I have problems of USB power since the upgrade my BIOS to 5.2 days on receipt of an email from Toshiba, advise the upgrade
I got a 100 - 200 PSAA8E Windows XP Media Edition since the upgrade of the BIOS to 5.20 I get message error power but only when the computer comes out of standby
The error message tells me that "a USB device has exceeded the limits of its hub port power.
I have nothing connected to one of the USB ports
I talked to guys tech at length to Toshiba, but they can't seem to explain or correct the problem - a same thought it could be a motherboard problem, but cut which like the timing is too coincidental to be something other than the upgrade of the BIOS.
If anyone knows a fix, so I would be grateful - is - it possible to find a previous BIOS and roll back from 5.20
I guess if it's the BIOS, then when they deliver another it will correct itself?
Comments appreciated
Phil
Hello Phil
Maybe again the stupid question, but I also want to know why you made the decision to do the BIOS update? Is there a particular reason or you just want to have laptop with the latest version of the BIOS.

Hey guys just want to know the model ideapad z580 number... Is ADP 65 kh
Please answer...
Depends on what specification has your Z580, the more powerful the cpu and the gpu, the more powerful the power adapter, it will come with, my Z580 has an i5 and integrated graphics, so it only comes with a 65 Watt adapter.
Edit: Look on page 123 of the repair, mine is the first.

Satellite Pro M500 - cut voltage for USB
I have the Satellite M500 Pro with Windows 7 installed.
Correctly detect several USB pen drive (led inside IT) but when to use 'remove the security apparatus' (bottom right) the led stays ON (never turn off). This for each Keystone model I (2, 4, 8GB).
Last old XP laptop switch function properly the POWER supply. Why this Toshiba not turn off the correct mode the USB?
Thanks in advance,
PasoliniHello
Do you really think that there is a problem?
To be honest, sometimes I see the same thing that disconnect a USB the LED doesn't key t turn off but Windows tells me that I can remove the disc. So I think that if Windows tells me that everything should be ok.
What do you think? In addition, it would be interesting to know if you use your own Windows installation or factory settings.
Also, make sure that the BIOS version is the most recent. -
Not enough power USB on Portege M200?
Whenever I try on my Portege m200 portable USB devices, they do not work as long as they operate in a mode powered by bus, for example without external power. I wonder if the Portege does not offer enough USB power for some devices.
Here is what I tried:
(1) Freecom FS 50 - a slimline dvd burner comes with 2 usb cables. According to Freecom they will be powered by usb simply by adding the power of 2 usb ports. Result: The drive is not yet seen in my m200. Using of external power supply, the drive works by usb as expected.
(2) pinnacle PCTV 200e - external dvb - t receiver. Is recognized, but produces errors in any receiver software I've tried. However working on the FUSi Lifebook S series. Can anyone confirm the waekness of USB ports? Suggestions or tweaks plus a train external powered usb hub?
Hello
The USB ports provide 500mA. It is a standard USB. If the external USB devices need more power than USB ports allow in most cases the external power supply is required.
You can also try plugging the USB hub with an external power supply, then connect the external USB devices to the USB hub.In addition, you can try to change the settings in the properties of the USB root hub.
Go to the device manager select USB hub root, select properties and go to the power management tab.
Here, you can disable the option: "allow the computer to turn off this device? -
plotter / cut not the usb ports
I recently moved my office and cutting cutter / plotter in another room. Now, for some reason, my vinyl cutting software does recognize not all USB Com Ports and therefore, will not cut. (I tried configuring it for each port with no luck). When I open devices and printers and look at USB / series of properties of Strawberry, it shows that its on Com9... and I have 6 USB ports I know. First question... where I expect to identify the USB ports are what #s. 4 behind the pc and 2 in front.
Com is a reference to the COM port and is a "serial port". Replace the USB port.
PS <>, change the hardware configuration does not cause this problem. Someone changed the settings.

I bought a new Toshiba Dynadock. As I uderstood documentation it should feed two front usb even when the host computer is in standby mode or disconnected ports. It doesn't seem to work for me.
Devices connected to everything (including forward) ports continues to load when the computer is suspended/disconnected. I tried with the ipod player mp3 flash with the same result.
It works for you? If it works if I understand correctly? Or my device is defective just?
What is your opinion?
Thank you for your help.
BarthekHi guys
I think I should clarify this question ;)
The dynadock s supports six USB ports.
But * only before two USB ports provide power * when the computer is turned off, suspended or disconnected. This allows you to reload some MP3 players, mobile phones and other devices. But beware: not all devices can be loaded through these ports.
I hope this helps!

After shutdown still power USB ports
When I used Bootcamp and Windows 10 on my iMac 27 "(end of 2012), the USB ports are still less power when I shut down the computer to Windows. A USB powered external hard drive and a USB hub are still active. When I shut down the computer from Mac OS X ports are powerless. Why is this?
Can you check Windows quick start?

Lenovo z580 not recognizing wireless adapter
Hello everyone
I just brought a new Lenovo ideapad z580. It came with windows 8, which is unusable. So I did a clean install of windows 7 and keep trying to install the drivers.
Windows refuses him acknowledge the existence of my wireless adapter. I opened the bottom to the top and I can see her, but he does not recognize. I installed the driver, and it does not recognize. I went into device management, and there was a small exclamation mark by "network controller" I don't know if this is the wireless adapter that it does not recognize. I went into bios and disabled WLAN and then restarted and reanbled it in bios and tried again all without success. I don't know what to do I am at a loss...
Someone at - it ideas?
The network controller is the wifi card. Try to install the drivers manually from the Device Manager.
