• ADF: Can ignore us the default activity of the ADF train in the stubborn workflow. ?

  Hi all
  
  I am a newbie for ADF and JDev. Start learning about the documentation provided for the ADF, I try to create a stubborn workflow that has an element of train and every stop on the train should be activated/skippered by program. I am able to jump the train stops after reading the content provided at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/82-programmatically-navigate-trains-396873.pdf.
  But I'm not able to jump to the default train stop which is the first call of the activity in my case during initialization.
  Here are the steps I followed:
  1 creating a project of viewController and created a workflow in bounded with the component train activated.
  2. added 4 displays with train component marking the first view as default activity appeal.
  3. According to the document, which I mentioned above, I've added bean managed to ignore the train stop by program files.
  
  Now when I run the workflow, I'm able to jump the number of train stops 2/3/4, but I'm not able to jump stop number 1 (first stop which is the default activity) at initialization.
  According to documents from the ADF, for a stubborn workflow must be assigned default activity that is always called first when we enter the stubborn workflow. Which means, default activity will always be called initialization of said defined workflow and never to be ignored by the program. ? Alternatively, if there is a way to jump to the default activity, so please let me know the documentation/measures to do this.

  Thanks Timo. Your idea has solved my problem. :)

  I created a new page in my workflow narrow-minded that I realized as a default activity for the workflow bounded. Then I applied the navigation via router and under certain conditions, I am now able to switch my order to my desired train stop. By this design, I can make another customization on train button(Back/Next).

  Not a silly question at all, but there is nothing you can do about it. The Excel Add-In to this view by default, and there is no way to specify otherwise. You could keep a sheet of 'model' and copy these selections to each recovery again, but it would be a little awkward.

  You will probably get enough fast to type in your favorite settings by default, unless your plan contains difficult to remember or very long names and aliases. :)

  I was stuck on this little problem for quite awhile, maybe I can't see the wood for the trees, my intention is perhaps utopian

  Here's what I want to do: retrieve the default value of an existing *.lvclass class (not), change it to some sort of Setup, and then save the back by default to the *.lvclass file (or any other).

  The only planned mounting is on changing the default value, no more, no less.

  I tried a few magic Server VI in vain (LabVIEW crashed)

  With some, as you named: "Magic VI Server", it is possible to edit the default class data and save it as the same/new class. However, there are at least three major problems:

  • This is not possible in the runtime, because it requires features available only in script development
  • If you want to save the class changed as the new class, she would need to copy all the screws and the controls of this class
  • It is simply inefficient.

  So before we go any further, could you explain more thoroughly, why would you want to? If you have two classes, which are exactly the same, but differ on data default field values, this is absolutely not a good idea and not a good software design. And relying on the default values may generally lead you to unexpected behavior of your program in the future, when you decide to change these default values.

• Execution of method on taskflow as default activity

  I use jdev 11.1.1.7 and am trying to run a method on a bounded before a jsff page workflow.

  I created a bean and have a method in the bean that defines a variable pageflowscope that I want to appear on a text field of the result in the jsff page.  The taskflow will perform activities to call method first, then go to the jsff page.

  In the taskflow:

  1. I recorded as name = homeBean bean and the location of the class.  I have it specified as scope pageflow.

  2. I've dragged a method on the taskflow, set it as the default activity and double-clicked for the bean and the method name.

  3. the java method returns a string of 'go', and the method on the taskflow has the same fixed result for the case of flow control on the jsff page.

  4. on the jsff page, I ouputtext with the value set to ground: value y of the scope: #{pageFlowScope.y}

  5. the jsff page runs on an area of a page jspx.

  Here is the method in my bean:

  I have a workflow to execute a method on the page loading to set cookie values.
  I added a control method of data as the default activity in the workflow. But it is not called immediately, it is executed only if it is called from another view.

  Take a look at the flow of task properties, in PatchSet1, a new "invokeURLAllowed" feature is added which prevents the workflow stubborn URL accessible for safety reasons. You can turn off this feature on and outside

  Thanks, but it's not useful.  It is more that an 'improvement' Microsoft did that, as I fear, is a total and far failure to be an improvement.  It also means that I'll just use a 3rd party program to burn all my CD/DVDs.  You know if I wanted to be able to remove, reformat, etc.. CD/DVD I would use those rewritable.  That's why they exist.
