I do a restore/recovery by rman but I am facing a problem.

I checked the 94 data file and it exists!

It's the last that I created to develop a tablespace.

I noticed each new data file that I add to this tablespace, it assumes a different control point. All other data of all areas of storage files are on the same control point.

I use this query to check.

SELECT NAME,

FILE NO.,

STATUS,

CHECKPOINT_CHANGE # 'CHECKPOINT '.

FROM V$ DATAFILE;

Why this datafile is different checkpoint?

How can I move forward with restoration?

3. looking into your question, last backup you took is not datafile (probably knows that the controlfile, but there is no such thing as your restore from tape). You have logs valid archive and redo logs with you?

    You can import old X XI sequences, but because structure radically changed between these two versions, you won't be able to change them, just run them. Then I suggest you instead, create new ones.

    If you're wondering how to access the code itself, so it's more complicated. If you save it in a text file separate (you should ALWAYS do), I suggest looking for a computer that still has X, load them, then edit them and copy the code into a stand-alone file.

    If even that is not possible then your last resort is to open the sequence files themselves (files .sequ) in a text editor and extract the code manually.

    I'm trying to recover the database in waiting, but it gives the error below.

    Dataguard and MRP, you run a script before.

    In a standby scripted, a session to RETRIEVE the DATABASE would an UNTIL clause (SEQUENCE up to THAT most likely). At the end of the recovery at this point (SEQUENCE #), he left and stop at the database.

    In addition, the script is such that when a RECOVERY session is active, another session is not authorized to start. It can loop in pending state or go out and do it again the next scheduled interval.

    Apparently your startup script is not strong enough to prevent another session of RECOVERY to start even though the first is active (or it doesn't have a good up to THAT clause and stop, exit, closing stocks)

    What you have is a custom implementation of a database of pending. Without all the details of the script, the 'blocking' between sessions (to avoid a second RECOVER start when one is already running) etc... We can't really do much to help you.
    Your scripts must be standing with status information. It should be possible for you to discover the 'other' sqlplus session which emanates a DATABASE to RECOVER, but not yet out (p. ex... How about a simple "ps - ef |") grep sql' and ' ps - ef | combination of grep ora"?)

    Workaround for this problem is:

    Copy orabpel - thirdparty.jar/bpel/lib and place it in the folder/custom/BpelIntegration/lib , and add this variable in intradoc.cfg of the CS (stop the content server before performing this change):

    JAVA_CLASSPATH_bpel =/custom/BpelIntegration/lib/orabpel-thirdparty.jar

    Start content server after the steps above have been completed, and then test to see if the problem persists.

  • 10gr 2-Sybase15-ORA-28545: cannot retrieve the text of the message from NETWORK/NCR

    I am trying to establish connectivity between Oracle 10 g 2 (Win XP Pro 2002) and Sybase ASE 15.0.2 (Sun Solaris 5.9) by using the transparent gateway for Sybase (TG4SYBS), but encountered the following error. I have looked for a solution quite well in all directions, but so far have been quite unlucky. This is my last resort. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong as I followed the steps of installation and configuration correctly. Please note:
    -Oracle transparent gateway software and database are installed in different homes; and,
    -J' created and tested the ODBC DSN connectivity with the Sybase server.

    The only thing that I have real concern about is the version of the Sybase server 64-bit OS; Windows Oracle server is 32-bit. Are going to count this could be the problem?

    1A. Because the DB is in archivelog mode, so you can always restore and recover the entire DB including system tablespace datafile to latter YVERT generated provided that redo record is available in in line/Archives log files.

    2 E. Because only redolog corrupt archive so only proceed where a blockage of the db is obvious, then, in order to proceed further you must clear (a journal archived file) online and then db will work as usual. There you must take a full backkup of DB (cold backup insofar as possible) as soon as possible after the issuance of this order. Like now, you do not repeat information in the archivelog files to recover the db in case of crash.

    The extension of the Session Manager has options (1) create a backup when you exit Firefox and (2) locate in a different folder. I have not tested, but could be useful for you.

    Having a devil of a time with this portable darn. So I bought the recovery dvd. tried to boot from the disk and comes with no OS bootable. Thinking it could be a problem with the optical drive, I created a bootable usb key.

    Received the usb key to start

    So I goto Toshiba Recovery Wizard
    Press Yes to say it will wipe the drive.
    Retrieves the software factory default
    In the end, I get an error message

    Error: 003
    Recovery error

    Press ok to start the computer

    The only thing I can think is that maybe when I created the USB startup key should I copy then disk2 on the stick as well using xcopy.

    I think there are several reasons for the error.
    The recovery media or the hard drive is may be defective. Wrong settings of the BIOS, etc...

    I recommend you to check once more the Toshiba Recovery bootable disc.
    I don t think that there might be a problem with the optical disc drive.
    From my point of view, it could be a bad BIOS setting.

    The Satellite Pro L870-172 has been pre-installed with the system Win 8.
    Please check start secure as well as the UEFI boot mode option in the BIOS.

    Generally, in order to be able to boot from different devices to boot, secure boot must be disabled.
