Return to the condition of the factory of Windows 7

Hello

I often met problem graphic driver on my newly installed Windows 7 64-bit professional tx2500 so I decided to go back to Vista.

My Windows 7 was a pure installed rather than upgrade to Vista, and therefore no recovery manager has installed. Restart I press "F11" and noticed to the lower left of the screen, the line 'recovery manager' briefly appeared but soon transformed in Windows logon screen.

In order to install the Recovery Manager, I downloaded and ran the following three files:

HP Recovery Manager for Microsoft Windows 7, 2.79 MB

HP Recovery Manager install, 682,02 K

Recovery Manager for Windows 7, 6,64 MB

But none of the files can be installed successfully.

What happens here prevents their installation? HP plans actually Manager recovery in 64-bit version of Windows 7? How can I return to my factory condition of Home Premium 64 - bit Windows Vista?

Thank you

Bob

HP provides a Recovery Manager Patch for installations of W7, but it works only on upgrades installed not clean. You will probably need to call HP to order a recovery set. Usually around $20.

An option that works by many (not all) puts the active recovery partition >

1.right - click on the "Computer" icon and select manage.
2. This will launch the Microsoft Management Console.
3. on the left side of the MMC console, click "Disk management" and it will show you all the partitions.
4. right - click on the "HP Recovery" partition and select "Mark as Partition Active."
5. when the warning message appears, select 'Yes' – Reboot and it will automatically start in the Recovery Manager (without pressing F11).

So when I was doing that, I formatted ALL partitions that I saw on the screen. After that i have PXE boot problem. I realized that I need to connect my lan cable. Ok. After that the computer does not start, it shows just acer splash screen and immediately restarts again and again and again. I tried to click ALT + F10. At the bottom left, I saw "switch to erecovery" or something like that. After pressing alt + f10 there is a '_' in the upper left corner, and the Frank is frozen. So I can't even boot to see victory logo, even I can't return my phone to factory settings. Just to note I have no CD with my PC, only the power chords and that's all. The House of win 7 was already languages. Please guys help me how to fix my laptop.
    Best regards

Well, you could have done your own recovery discs when you bought your PC!

I agree that it is a shame that you can't get a copy of the disks where you live!

If you are happy to have a cracked version of Windows, it is to you. Even if you can open a Pandora's box, we'll agree disagree on the question

As for the problem of button, it could be a sign of a faulty keyboard or it could be a software problem. A few copies of cracking are so changed, it could be an error in the code!

You can try and run a Linux live disk to see if it happens there. If so, then the keyboard will be replaced.

  • Reset of the region: HP support (Japan) asked printer must be returned to the factory?

Everything that I read to do a reset of the region indicates that this is done by phone.

I called HP to the Japan and told that I need to return the printer to the factory (for 2 weeks) so that they can do the procedure.

    Is this correct?

Edit: This is a HP Envy 100 printer (D410)

    Hi kwkw,.

In general, this is done by phone.  I check to see if there is something different about this printer and I raised your message to the appropriate review team.  Someone needs to contact you by private message in these forums.  Private messages can be checked by logging in and clicking on the icon of the envelope at the top of the page.

  • Qosmio F60 trying to return to the factory settings

    Hi all

I recently purchased a Qosmio F60. When I started it upward and the preload Windows 7 has started to install, I clicked on the option for 64-bit. A few days later, after the installation of a few other programs I noticed in configuration/system board that windows was reported as 32-bit. (Yes, I'm sure that I chose 64-bit). He noted also that 4gig ram withonly 2.98 usable.

First of all, can someone explain why this could be?

I had not created a recovery disk because I planned to load the machine with all the programs that I use regularly and THEN create the recovery disk and image. However now that I see that windows is apparently loaded as 32 bits I want to return to the beginning and reload the windows preinstalled as 64-bit. I really need it to make full use of the suite cs4 Adobe. And I'm confused as to why only three-quarters of my ram is usable.

I backed up the data (a little), I've created so far and the TOSAPINS file and put it on a USB key. What is the best way to restore it to how it was when I got it out of the box? It came with preloaded trial of Office 2007, and Norton, versions.

If I go back to the system default Toshiba Restore Point will it take me back to where I re - load Windows? Or is it just restore point after installing windows?

    Thanks in advance

    ufoundlou

    Hello

Can you please tell us what F60 (F60 - xxx) have you exactly.
It is really strange that you have it with 32-bit because I know with certainty that this machine comes with 64-bit only.

To be honest, there is no sense to install 32-bit on such portable high-end with excellent material. Please try to install the recovery image using HARD drive recovery procedure. Procedure is described on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm

    Please note:
When you want to create the recovery DVD you will get recovery on that image if all applications that you will install in addition will appear not in this recovery image.

    Hello

    ·         What version of the Windows operating system do you use?

    ·         How did perform a restore factory on your computer?

    ·         Who is the manufacturer of your computer?

    Note:

If you had done a factory restore using recovery discs system provided by the manufacturer of the computer or by using the recovery on your computer partition. You will not be able to recover user files and folders on your computer. Perform the restore factory on a computer will format the entire hard drive and re - install a new copy of Windows. This process is not reversible except as the system restore.

Difference between restoring the system and restore the factory:

System Restore is a Windows system restore. It resets Windows and a majority of programmes to registered previous States, defeating all updates, new facilities and changes to settings that have happened after the restore point has been set. It is not, however, recover deleted data files or get rid of the infection. Your data will not be affected by the Windows system restore.

System of recovery or factory restore , this is generally what the constructor calls their built-in tool to reset the entire computer to factory default. If your computer came with restore or recovery disks, then they do the same thing. All data on the system wiped and only what came on the system initially is reinstalled, with the kind permission of the recovery disks. All your data, added programs and ideally viral infections are removed, and the system is as if it was when you bought

You can use any third-party data recovery software and check if you can retrieve lost data or images of your hard drive.

Warning: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • Satellite L650 - 12K - restore the factory with Windows password settings?

    Hello

Today I received my new Toshiba Satellite L650 - 12K. I went through the process of "first use" and put in place my name of user and password Windows 7 etc.

However, after a reboot, when I tried to enter my password to connect to Windows, it says it is incorrect. I tried different combinations of password I used (I know what it's like I wrote it down at the time)-ive tried caps, plugs etc but nothing works.

If I order the Toshiba recovery disks I will be able to return the laptop to factory settings and start the installation again, including Windows?.

PS - I only put an account so can't even connect you as another user.

Thanks for your time and your help.

    Gary2802.

    Hey Buddy,

Yes, the Toshiba recovery disc can restore the initial configuration (on the box settings) even you don t know the password because it will remove the whole HARD disk and restore the version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba.

So don t you worry about this, Toshiba Recovery disk will help you! ;)

  • How can I get my vista reset and return to the factory settings?

How can I get my vista back to factory settings

    Hello

Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

    ____________________________________________________________

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

    __________________________________________________________

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

So, I upgraded from CS6 CC and I loaded a previous CS6 project which then in turn loaded my previous layout of the workspace. Now the quick menu disappears at the top when I'm in edit mode. No idea how to reset it to factory settings? the use of workspace > reset to saved the layout seems to be the only option that obviously doesn't work.

    Hi Karen,.

    • Go to Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/9.0/Profile and rename the Layouts folder [anything, say OldLayouts]
    • Restart Premiere Pro
    • It should be default layout

NOTE: You will lose all your layouts custom

  • How to return to the factory settings obtained so much waste on my laptop I want to start

Have a lot of garbage on my laptop is so slow, but I have Virgin broadband, so I want to erase everything and start over.

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

Hi, I'm not familiar with Mac, but I think it should work - it does in Windows: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.preferences.inContent and double-click on it to change the "value" from true to False, taking care to not to change what anyone else. You will then need to restart Firefox.
