Whenever I have to connect on Firefox I get message saying that I am not on the current version, but I am. -Version 30.0 'up-to-date' what's the deal?
What is your homepage in Firefox that it may seem like the old start page for Firefox by Google because it has the message "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! "under the search field.
Google did not maintain this homepage from Firefox 4.0 came out as it was on: House since.

My wife tried to update firefox and since then it will not open. When I click it a window appears and says that I have to finish the upgrade a previous version by restarting. When I reboot nothing changes.
If the files have already been downloaded, then delete the files in the folder updates\0 and updates.
You can also remove active - update.xml, or even updates.xml (stores the history of update).- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Software_Update (Update works not properly)
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox)
Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current version of Firefox if possible.
- Do NOT remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

I'd LOVE to have Firefox REFRESH/RELOAD all pages that I'm going to the OPTION.
I'd LOVE to have this OPTION:...
(just ask anyone who uses eBay... THEY know...)I go to a page, it refreshes / reloads the page I want.
I go to another page, it refreshes / reloads the page I want.
I click on the 'back' button, it refreshes / reloads the page I was just at.Quite simply...
Firefox 'ALWAYS' REFRESH / RELOAD the page I want.Thank you.

When and where can I get the beta version of firefox 31 ESR?
The current beta is downloadable on http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#beta is v30.0b9, right? (if so, why not v31.09b?) (Also, my platform is Linux)
As much as I KNOW Firefox ESR is not a beta or alpha as the regular Firefox releases. The current beta version is 30.0b9, but I expect that to change because 30 was released and the beta version will be based on 31.0 soon. I think have the wrong you how will the versions. Each channel of Firefox (nightly, Aurora, beta, release) past six weeks in trials and then gets moved to the new channel (for example, nightly-> Aurora-> Beta-> exit).
The link you're talking about above is the 30 Firefox Beta 9 (which will change as I said soon). ESR downloads are at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/faq/ http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ and the FAQ at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/faq/

There are / were three problems:
1. why, when I open Firefox 9.01 this I get a message that I don't have the most recent when version help > on Firefox said I do?
2 also, with version 8 of xx, I was unable to open a new window with a right-click, until I upgraded to 9.01. (Old problem now, but I'm curious).
3 when I tried to uninstall the old version of the uninstall program told me that I had to close the open version, but it was closed according to my taskbar. I also have this problem with Thunderbird.1. you are using the latest version which is Firefox version 9.0.1
From your description, it seems that if you still have the old start page for Firefox http://www.google.com/firefox hosted by Google as your homepage. This old default home page is no longer used as topic: Home is in use since Firefox 4.0
Ignore the message, change the homepage of topic: Home, replace it with another page or leave blank.

I updated Firefox 2 days after seeing the message that I was not using the latest version. Download and install led and everything seems to work normally except that I still have a message on my Firefox home page telling me that I'm not using the latest version. If, on the other hand, I navigate to 'Firefox' - 'help' - "On Firefox" I tells me that I'm running Firefox 8.0.1 and "Firefox is updated.
You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. It seems that this page is no longer maintained. You seem to have Firefox installed with the latest version 8.0.1.
If you want to than the Google search page as homepage, change your homepage to Subject: House (a new update version is now integrated into Firefox).

Firefox is from a script that accesses a malicious Web site?
When I start Firefox, Avast gives me a warning that Firefox is from a script that is trying to access the website https://boncom.demdex.net. I tried ہ disabled add-ons Firefox and it still runs this script. None of the other browsers for this when I open them.
Avast is calling it a HTML:Script-inf, which sometimes seems to be a false positive, but in this case I don't want anything to access websites weird anyway, so how I disable anything that attempts to access this site when I run Firefox?
It may have infected your folder of Firefox

After installation of the latest version of firefox and I use the new icon on my desktop, it always says that I don't have the latest version. Installation will correctly
It - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Page to start Firefox used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I do not think that it is maintained by Google.
From version Firefox 4, Firefox uses a 'local' with the address Start Page of Subject: House. It looks like the old start Page, but this isn't exactly the same thing.

I want to know how to make my tabs save when I close Firefox. I did what was suggested in the FAQ section, but all my tabs disappear whenever I close Firefox, you use the command "exit", or the "X" button That was the reason I never updated to the new version previously, but hoped that the problem had been addressed and updated, now I'm stuck with having to reopen each tab whenever I open Firefox. Please tell me there is a way to fix this. And I'm not fluent technospeak, so I need simple and basic instructions. Thank you. Mark

Despite my constant removal of Yahoo in all search preferences, it keeps returning automatically to my defaul for Firefox search. Help, please! I hate Yahoo!
On Mac, this most commonly seems to be caused by Spigot or pipe modules, or something else that snuck in without being detected with other software that you downloaded.
Please try to disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:
- CMD + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete). Especially if you find something called SearchMe.
Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
Is that what helps you regain control?

I tried to update Firefox on my desktop since version 33.0 I continue to download and upgrade or install day, but nothing changes. Gmail still says the browser is not supported, and Mozilla says I use an older version and need to update. I downloaded from different places - the links provided when he said outdated sound and go directly to Mozilla.org for download. In fact, I uninstalled Firefox and tried to install instead of upgrade. It does not help. My computer says I have the latest version, but the internet plays an older version. Also my "firefox" button and another add on buttons are missing from the navigation bar, so I can't check 'about' to see what version of the browser itself says that it is running. How can I fix it? I use Firefox for years and this is the first problem I had that I can't fix.
And... your check of software I actually running version 11. Clearly, it is not up-to-date.

After the update, my homepage will display in the Outlook.com box only the time of my last emails, not the sender and subject. All this information was shown with the previous versions of Firefox.
I found that after Firefox v29, a LOT of my settings and
Add - ons have been changed / reset. Try this;
Launch Firefox in Mode safe
While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > advanced > General.
Find and stop using hardware acceleration.
Then check ALL your settings. Browser and Add-ons. Then restart
