  Try this...

  1. go to the location: /Library/Preferences /

  You can use the go > go to folder menu item or command + SHIFT + G

  2. move the file "com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist" on the desktop or in the trash

  3. try again installing Acrobat.

  This message indicates that you have not permission in writing to the destination directory.

  So:

  1. Determine the destination directory... go in the Lightroom import dialog box and note the location of this directory specified on the right side under "Destination".
  2. Go to your operating system and change the permissions on this exact directory have WRITE permission.

  I use LR CC 2015.7 on multiple computers. I just updated one of my laptops for MacOS Sierra 10.12.

  I encounter the following problems and do not have the same problems with the same workflow in the OS X 10.11.6.

  1 import: import maps SDHC, options to rename and catalogue by date are not visible. Only the management of files and components apply when importing are visible.

  2. If a LR catalog is closed (Quit) from the Web module, then reopened (display immediately shows the Web module from the last saved state) and a collection is exported from the web module, ARW, FIU and perhaps other RAW formats generate an error message that says something like LR cannot find RAW files and the jpg of the best quality available will be generated for export.

  If, on the other hand, a LR catalog is closed (Quit) in the library module, then reopened and to pass to the Web module, everything is good for export.

  3. If a LR catalog is closed (Quit) from the Web module, then reopened (display immediately shows the Web module from the last saved state) and we're trying to quit smoking from the Web module, LR does not end.

  If, on the other hand, a LR catalog is closed (Quit) in the library module, then reopened and to go to the Web module, Quit going very well.

  Has anyone else had these problems? Adobe or Apple is aware of this problem?

  If you have CC photography Plan, then you will not have a serial number, you simply connect with the AdobeID associated with your Plan of photography CC.  Help / Sign In in LR is a way to do this.

  You say that you have the options to see what plan you have, but you do not say if you really don't see the plan listed or not.  You see a CC Plan associated with your AdobeID photograph?

  If so, if you don't have a CC plan associated with your AdobeID, then follow these steps to make troubleshooting LR:

  Stop Creative Cloud 2015 to return to the mode of trial

  If the problem is that you don't have a CC plan associated with your AdobeID then maybe you have several identifiers and you need to connect with one another.  You can also try the chat with Adobe directly as they can view their information from server directly.

  I was able to import videos directly from my canon 5 d mkii in lightroom on my macbook pro 2015. IPhotos, bridge, and Lightroom show an error when I try to import videos from 5 d. Import photos perfectly fine, but no video. I tried to import the videos same in Lightroom to my pc and they import fine. I need to import it back in my mac! Help, please.

  It seems a problem with the destination folder, then I would suggest to check if you have read and write access to the destination folder where you try to import images.

  Also try to change the location of the destination folder, and then import the videos in Lightroom.

  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
  • Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.

• 6.3 Lightroom (Mac) freezes when importing

  Hi all

  Due the fact that Apple has stopped development of opening I had to do a switch after several years of feeling 100% comfortable with an opening. After some research, it became clear that most of the people would recommend Lightroom. So I bought a copy.

  Import of my opening book is very well and included all my projects and notes (very important!). So far so good.

  Now, I tried to import photos newly shot of my Nikon D7100. Tried with the cable. Tried with the SC card in my Macbook Air. Lightroom still freezes when importing or is back with the 'message' that none of the pictures could be read.

  Returned to the opening. Connected to the camera. Quick import and 100% OK.

  I can't believe that Adobe releases a new version with such a major problem... Very frustrating... want my money back!

  Can anyone help? Is that a known issue - the fixes proposed in the forums don't work not (import options)? Will there be an update to Lightroom soon?

  Also, make sure that you have read and write access on the location where you import the images.

  Premiere Pro CC 2015 guard freezing and does not not on my work computer. I've been away for 10 days and they had a Freelancer come to change while I was away and now it does ' t just seems to work as well, or not at all.

  I uninstalled and re-installed PP CC 2015 and reset the PRAM several times on the Mac, but still no luck.

  Any ideas or solutions would be very appreciated.

  The layer source footage is H.264 in a .mov container

  There is no error message displayed. The program freezes with the spinning wheel.

  Just open a project pour it into first causes to freeze immediately.

  Also running Apple Mail and Safari at the same time but still frozen when the other two applications were dropped.

• Error importing 2015.6 Lightroom CC

  Since the last update to Lightroom, I was unable to import ANY of my memory cards.

  I always get the following error message: "the following files were not imported because they could not be read. (251).

  There any memory card I use, they all produce the above error message. Memory cards are formatted before each use (low-level format, not quick format) and are perfectly readable by camera, computer, basically anything other than Lightroom. I was able to import my images successfully using the utility provided with my camera Canon photo and then add the images to Lightroom, so it is only to import images from a memory card that does not work in Lightroom CC 2015.6. In addition, because I can access the memory card when it is in the drive, I know it is not the reader or the card, there must be a problem with Lightroom.

  This error appears when you do not have permissions to import your files to the specified destination.

  Make sure that the Destination sign on the right is expanded and a valid location is select.

  Select the desktop for example and try to import.

  

  If it does not help post a screenshot of your Lightroom Import window.

  Just some general info:

  I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 on a Macbook Pro. I installed Adobe Illustrator trial without any problem. I tried, in vain, to install the trial version of Photoshop CS (2015) for shit almost two days now. I know this is an old problem and I read several other threads with the same or similar issue. However, I still have not solved anything. I am considering to make PS CS 2015 but do not know if it would be a smart decision if the trial version does not work even on my mac.

  When I try to install the program by creative cloud or a separate - dmg file I get an error in the starting of the installation (which is 42% cloud creative).

  All I get is: "there was a problem installing Photoshop CC (2015) ' when I try to get more information about the encountered any error I get is a blank page - there is therefore no error code to identify.

  I tried to clear the tmp folder to read different newspapers, in order to wipe each adobe program (including, creative cloud, manager of Adobe and etc.) and re - install to remove records of AMMUpdater-EHC and other things proposed in various discussions of the forum such as these:

  Error in downloading, installing or updating Adobe Creative Cloud applications

  Installation of Photoshop CC stalls at 42%

  Trial download Photoshop CC keeps freezing of 42%

  Re: crashes at 42% and direct installation fails

  Try to install once the root user account. If this does not work, then you can move forward for the manual procedure of removal and relocation complete.

  Also one last thing, the deletion process may affect the trial of Illustrator CC 2015 period, but if the lawsuit says expired you can always install and try out the CC 2014 version for 30 days, Im just being honest. But I'm sure that the steps will work.

  I have a pro4 surface of microsoft and am currently using the trial of cloud creative to use Lightroom.

  All my photos are currently on a mac and I use aperture.

  I want to transfer my library from the Mac to the pc but I do not see the opening of the plug-in.

  When I creativity cloud Add ons page I get the message

  "The product you requested is not found. This product does not exist or this account does not have access. »

  I have over 10,000 photos on my mac in opening, any help transfer them to my pro4 surface would be massively appreciated.

  You can export all images on and copy it to the external hard drive and paste it on the machine.

  Because Lightroom will also do the same thing, it will create a master copy side by side when importing thumbnails in catalog.
