Hi all

Please I need help badly to create a script to reverse the medallion of table cells on all the tables for a document

for ex:

I need to change the value of the left cell inset with inset right cell on the table with all cells

Thanks in advance

Sorry, typo a parenthesis here:

(function() {
try {
var cells = app.activeDocument.stories.everyItem().tables.everyItem().cells.everyItem().getElements();
for (var i = 0; i < cells.length; i++) {
var l = cells[i].leftInset;
cells[i].leftInset = cells[i].rightInset;
cells[i].rightInset = l;
}
} catch (e) {

}
}())

• Insert only one cell in a table (not an extra set of the row or column)?

I have problems by performing an easy Assembly. I need to insert a a 'CELL', but I am only considered the possibility to insert a set 'ROW' or 'COLUMN '. I would just insert a cell and the rest of the content below it moves accordingly. Help, please!

There is no way to put it while you just insert a cell and everything moves along after that cell?

Simple answer is 'no '. I'm sorry.

InDesign tables are not good for juggling data. If you have a project that requires single-cell-integration on a regular basis, I suggest to make your table outside InDesign in an application with tools more easy table-cell-juggling (Excel comes to mind here) and then perfecting you use table and cell styles make it easy to update. Of course, it will always be a concern, but the hassle can be minimized.

• How to insert a tab in a table cell

If you have a table in framemaker and decimals you want to align you must put in a tab at the beginning of cell character by pressing ESC-Tab (at least that is what I said). If you have a bagillion to is there a faster way to do this than tab tab ESC, tab, ESC-tab, tab...

Lady.

You can use find/replace to find '\P' (beginning of paragraph) and change to '\t' (tab).

Interestingly, if the cells of a table are empty only every other cell in the table is located. But then, you might find "\P\f" (beginning of the paragraph, end of the flow) to achieve this.

• «... "in the cell of the table?

Pages 5.6.1 crashes when I type «...» "(without the quotes) in the cell of a table. Data format of the cell is "text".

I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Thank you!

Bev in TX

Can't reproduce this misadventure in v5.6.1 Pages on El Capitan 10.11.2. Typed three times and also option +; (US keyboard) to insert an elipsis - in a deliberate, formatted text cell. No reaction from Pages.

Exit Pages and turn off your computer (not restart). See if it's reproducible for you.

• Insert into MDQ_OLD select * from table (lt_monitorMdq);

I'm trying to insert into a table that has only a single column, which is a column of a user defined type (UDT). The UDT is nested, that is one of the attributes of the UDT is an another UDT.

I aim to insert into the table like this pseudo-code:

INSERT INTO T1 SELECT * FROM THE UDT;

CREATE TABLE MDQ_OLD (myMDQ UDT_T_MONITOR_MDQ)

NESTED TABLE myMDQ

(T1_NEW) ACE STORE

THE NESTED TABLE MONITOR_MDQ_PRIM_RIGHTS

STORE AS T2_NEW);

The MONITOR_MDQ_CLI procedure. Read below returns the parameter lt_monitorMdq which is a UDT type as announced. The statement "insert into select MDQ_OLD * table (lt_monitorMdq);" fails, while the second insert statement works.

Is it possible to get the first statement of work?

I'm on Oracle 11 g 2.

DECLARE

lt_monitorMdq UDT_T_MONITOR_MDQ;

BEGIN

MONITOR_MDQ_CLI. Reading (TRUNC (SYSDATE),

TRUNC (SYSDATE),

NULL,

NULL,

"MILLION BTU.

lt_monitorMdq); -Note lt_monitorMdq is an OUT parameter

-This insert does not work

Insert into MDQ_OLD select * from table (lt_monitorMdq);

BECAUSE me in 1... lt_monitorMdq.count

LOOP

Dbms_output.put_line ('lt_monitorMdq: ' | .mdq_id lt_monitorMdq (i));

-This integration works

INSERT INTO MDQ_OLD (MYMDQ)

VALUES (UDT_T_MONITOR_MDQ (UDT_R_MONITOR_MDQ)

lt_monitorMdq (i) .gasday,

END LOOP;

END;

have you tried:

INSERT INTO MDQ_OLD (myMDQ) VALUES (lt_MonditorMDq);

curiosity:

Is there a particular reason, why you have created a table with a single column of type UDT instead of:

CREATE TABLE... OF UDT_T_MONITOR_MDQ;

I can tell you from experience that using a nested table, you can easily query the data in the nested table.

• Insert the object into the table

Hi all

I would insert my type of object in a table without specifying the name of the variable.

That's my bad example:

create or replace type MY_TYPE_OBJ as object
(
val1 number,
val2 number,
val3 number
);
/

CREATE TABLE MY_TABLE of MY_TYPE_OBJ;
/

declare
myType   MY_TYPE_OBJ;
begin

myType := new MY_TYPE_OBJ(1, 2, 3);

insert into MY_TABLE values (myType.val1, myType.val2, myType.val3);

end;
/

As you can see, on my last procedure, I had to use the insert into statement with val1, val2, val3 name filed.

Is there a quicker way to insert an object into a table? In the production environment of the object type that almost 100 filed is not so friendly to write each one by one.

Thank you

Federico

Example:

SQL> create or replace type TFoo as object(
2          attr1   integer,
3          attr2   varchar2(10),
4          attr3   date
5  );
6  /

Type created.

SQL>
SQL> create table footab of TFoo(
2          attr1 primary key,
3          attr2 not null
4  ) organization index
5  /

Table created.

SQL>
SQL> declare
2          foo     TFoo;
3  begin
4          foo := new TFoo( 1, 'test1', trunc(sysdate) );
5          insert into footab values foo;
6  end;
7  /

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

SQL>
SQL> select * from footab;

ATTR1 ATTR2      ATTR3
---------- ---------- -------------------
1 test1      2014/08/27 00:00:00

SQL>

I agree though - be careful with tables of objects and now their technical implementation and advantages and disadvantages.

You should not use USING_CLOB. LOB_INS (1, 'Metar_taf', File_Metar) inside the Loop.You must use

p2_putlines (File_Metar);

USING_CLOB. ADD_MORE (1, File_Metar);

• Inserting data in the nested table

I explore the differences between the OBJECT and RECORD.

As I'm still learning, I found that both are structures which essentially brings together different elements of types of different data or columns of data types, one is used in SQL and other is used in PL/SQL, please correct me if I'm wrong in my understanding.

Below, I am trying to insert data into an array of type object, but I can't can you please help.

So the only purpose of the equivalent concept of SQL types of nested tables is to use one of the data types when you define an actual table?

So-you can certainly use more that a simple "set an actual table. (I'm fairly certain that you can pass a table nested within a procedure, for example - try it, though - I'm not 100% sure on that - it just 'logic'.) If you can define a type, you can use it, pass it around, whatever.).

Ariean wrote:

And this nested table could be a record in SQL or object in PLSQL or simple data type (varchar number, etc.)?

Nested tables are just like any other type of custom data. You can create a nested table of other types of data. You can create a custom of nested tables data type.

Stupidly, he could become... uh, stupid O_0

CREATE TYPE o_myobj1 AS object ( id1   number, cdate1  date );

CREATE TYPE t_mytype1 AS table of o_myobj1;

CREATE TYPE o_myobj2 AS object ( id2   number,  dumb  t_mytype1 );

CREATE TYPE t_dumber AS table of o_myobj2;

O_0

OK, my brain is starting to hurt - I hope you get the idea

You must add a vacuum-arg set constructor to your type to use, user l_tab_avl_csp_sqr (l_tab_avl_csp_sqr. "COUNTY): = XXSCP_AVL_CSP_SQR_O_TP();

create or replace

• Insert newspapers in the errors table

Hello

I want to insert errors in the custom error message table.
eventhogh is runs properly but I cannot insert rows in the error table.

This is the code.

DECLARE
v_status VARCHAR2 (20);
cursor c1
is
Select * from all_errors
When type = 'PROCEDURE '.
and name = upper ('updatecourse');
v_rec c1% rowtype;
BEGIN
Select the State
in v_status
of object
where object_type = upper ('PROCEDURE')
and object_name = upper ('updatecourse');
If v_status = "INVALID" Then
Open c1;
loop
Fetch c1 in v_rec;
When exit c1% notfound;
insert into values of error_log (owner, name, type, text) (v_rec.owner, v_rec.name, v_rec.type, v_rec.text);
end loop;
Close c1;
end if;
END;

Please let me know what to do.

Thank you
Rami Reddy.

Why a loop?

You can manage in a simple SQL statement... (Not tested, just to give an idea). I hope that you don't have the name of this procedure in the two schemas

insert into error_log(owner,name,type,text)
select owner,name,type,text
from all_errors
where type='PROCEDURE'
and name=upper('updatecourse')
and 'INVALID' =
(
select o.status
from all_objects o
where o.object_type=upper('PROCEDURE')
and o.object_name=upper('updatecourse');
);

• Paragraph of body too much space, do the cells in a table

I can't find a way to make the body paragraph does not place!

The first cell of my table at the scale of the column is moved down by 2pt (smallest font size I can put to the body).

I tried defining progressive space above and below the FMP to negative values and the column fill/outline.

Is there some way I can get rid of this paragraph of the body or an another workaround to make cells align properly?

BodyPara.png

The dots, just above the left cell is the body. Note how the cells left and right align...

Create a paratag special features (for example, ' anchor') in order to maintain the table insertion point. The value that to have a negative space below equal to the spacing of the body line.

In table designer, set the table format to have the same negative space above, as in the paratag "anchor".

This should get rid of any extra space in front of the table.

• Insert XML data from the Table-> back to null

Dear Experts,

-I have table xml as below:

Example of CREATE TABLE (XML_spec XMLTYPE);

Insert in the example
Select ' < name of Message = "dataStaticInvestor" type = "IncomingMessage" >
< name of field = "batchReference" > OPENINGBATCH000000 < / field > < List name = "data" >
< = record name "data" >
< name of field = "externalReference" > 01234567890aaaaaaa < / field >
< name of field = "participantID" > OD001 < / field >
< name of field = "participantName" > EQUITY SECURITIES INDONESIA, PT < / field >
< / recording >
< = record name "data" >
< name of field = "externalReference" > 01234567890aaaaaaa < / field >
< name of field = "participantID" > OD001 < / field >
< name of field = "participantName" > EQUITY SECURITIES INDONESIA, PT < / field >
< / recording >
< = record name "data" >
< name of field = "externalReference" > 01234567890aaaaaaa < / field >
< name of field = "participantID" > OD001 < / field >
< name of field = "participantName" > EQUITY SECURITIES INDONESIA, PT < / field >
< / recording >
< / list >
< / message > ' double.

Select * example;

create table hasil1 (c1 varchar2 (500), c2 varchar2 (500), c3 varchar2 (500));

-This step I create the procedure to insert xml data into the table as the batch.

DECLARE
x XmlType;
BEGIN
Select XML_SPEC in x for example;

insert into hasil1
SELECT
p.Extract('/Record/Field/@externalReference').getstringval (C1),
p.Extract('/Record/Field/@participantID').getstringval (C2),
p.Extract('/Record/Field/@participantName').getstringval () as c3
TABLE (XMLSequence (Extract(x,'Message/List/Record'))) p;
commit;
END;
/

-when the result of select hasil1, the output is back 3 rows and 3 columns, but all data is a null *.

Best regards
Sigcle

You don't explain what output you need, but I guess something like this:

SQL> insert into hasil1 (c1, c2, c3)
2  select x.c1, x.c2, x.c3
3  from example t
4     , xmltable(
5         'Message/List/Record'
6         passing t.xml_spec
7         columns c1 varchar2(500) path 'Field[@name="externalReference"]'
8               , c2 varchar2(500) path 'Field[@name="participantID"]'
9               , c3 varchar2(500) path 'Field[@name="participantName"]'
10       ) x
11  ;

3 rows inserted

SQL> select * from hasil1;

C1                     C2        C3
---------------------- --------- --------------------------------
01234567890aaaaaaa     OD001     EQUITY SECURITIES INDONESIA,PT
01234567890aaaaaaa     OD001     EQUITY SECURITIES INDONESIA,PT

• Need help give color to the cells in a table and in table borders Dreamweaver CC - please!

Hello

I am a teacher and use Dreamweaver CC to make my class web page.

How can I give color for the borders of the cells in a table that I inserted? How can I give color and thickness of the line

for table borders, too?

I bought the DVD of David powers, and it does not show that.

Help, please.

Thank you

John

Assuming you placed a table in your document and your CSS Designer Panel is open

1. click on the sign «+»

2. choose your option. I'll choose 'Define on the Page.

3. follow the above sequence, 1. Click the table, 2. ensure that the table is selected, 3. Click on the style, 4. Click on the "+" symbol, 5. Displays the switch.

4. click the selector and choose the required properties.

You can do the same for the line)) or a cell)). In fact, this is how would you style something in your document.

• Inserting data in several related tables using the database

Hello world
I'm working on a BPM application using Oracle BPM 11.1.1.5.0 and JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.

In my database, I have two tables, loan and guarantee that are related by a field named employeeID (PK on loan) and FK in warranty.
Each line can have several lines of guarantee.

At this point, I'm doing an entry form for the user to insert data in the two tables.

I did successfully before with a single table that has no relations.

The way I'm doing here is, after the creation of the database successfully adapter, a type of LoanCollection is created in the types module, which can be used to create business objects and data objects of.

The problem is when I create an object of type loanCollection process data and then create a UI generated automatically on that basis, only the fields in the primary table (the Table of loan) appear in the form.
On the other hand, if I create a business object based on the LoanSchema, the form for all of the two tables is created automatically (the loan as a form, the guarantee in a table), but then, when I try to access it in the section processing service mission which calls the database adapter, I have no access to such.
In fact, the only type which can be used in the service task is the process based on the loanCollection data object.

To summorize, I have to use the type of business for my UI object to include all the fields in both tables, so I have to use the data object from the collection process in the transformation of service task dialog box.
And I can't find a way to map to another.

Can someone help me with this please?
Thank you very much

Try to follow these steps.

1. create a new module in your catalogue our BPM project management section
2. in this new module create 3 Business Objects - (LoanBusinessObject, GuaranteeBusinessObject and GuaranteeArrayBusinessObject)
3. Add the attributes appropriate to the LoanBusinessObject and the GuaranteeBusinessObject so that they mimic your database tables, then to the GuaranteeArrayBusinessObject add an array of type attribute GuraranteeBusinessObject
4. now you need to create two process data objects, type loanProcessObject LoanBusinessObject and type guaranteesProcessObject GuaranteeArrayBusinessObject
5. as inputs to your human task adds the loanProcessObject and guaranteesProcessObject, these should now be available in your data controls and can be used to auto generate the form
6. in your dbadapter you'll then use XSL Transformation and use for each so that it will write the data to the ready table and all the line items of warranty for the warranty table.
