• How to reverse the text so that the words are composed of video clips

  Hi all.

  So I want to use a piece of video (image below) to compose the Word Central more daring for a promotional clip. The video layer will be chalk floating in the air and I want my text. So I guess I should do some kind of reverse with the text to display the video layer below.

  Can someone point me in the right direction for how to do this in PP please?

  Hey there ' All! I use InDesign CC 2014 and I need help!

  So I do a quick reference guide that contains headers that are color coded. Changes in content in this guide based on what product it is inserted, if I want to have these headers to be mobile. Normally I would just make a text box color that I need, but it is a GREAT text with a lot of text box.

  I tried the shape with the color of my anchor header, but then my head disappeared. Court to reorganize spacing each time, what can I do to make sure I'm not have in order to align the text in the header of the boxes any time there is a change? IOW, I want these colored boxes to move with the text. For example, using the chart below, if I add a number 3 to my disengaging Cruise Control, I don't want to have to respace AUTOPILOT and move the colored area. Make sense? I hope so. • Not able to reverse the text file in ODI

  Hi guru,.
  
  I tried to load the data from Oracle database to text file. But I am facing problem during file reverse text.
  
  The columns in the text file are not reversed in the ODI data store. I get no error.
  
  Are there specific measures that I'm missing here? Any ideas / docs / links would be appreciated.
  
  
  As a solution, I added column manully right now and I can go futher. But I would be happy if reverse ODI will do it for me.

• How to place an image inline with the text using InDesign CS4?

  I'm writing the first draft of an instruction manual how two for some software.

  I'm writing the manual directly in InDesign CS4 and making screen shots that I'm making progress. I format the screenshot in Photoshop and export it to a JPG file.

  In InDesign, I double-click in the text box where I want to insert the image, go to file > place, get the picture, then press on open.

  Usually InDesign inserts the image at the cursor flashing in the text, but sometimes what happens is that no picture inserted and everything after it disappears. I get several empty text boxes and need to Control-Z to get back to where I started.

  Now I can put the image outside the text box and then manually move it to the text where I want to go, however when I export the file as HTML, then I need to manually move it to the appropriate area in Dreamweaver (when the image is placed inside the text box to the flashing cursor, the HTML file shows the image in the right place).

  I was able to insert the line in file with the text to a new paragraph mark, but sometimes InDesign doesn't let me do. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

  I don't know what I'm doing to prevent it from placing the paragraph mark and the blinking cursor (which is where I want it to appear).

  Steps to follow:

  I double-click inside the text box

  I place the image

  everything goes

  I have a few pages scroll, and then return to the starting point

  I have to scroll through a page or double-click inside the text box then press return a few times, and the previous image, I put in this way is automatically pushed to the next page.

  I go back to point of original departure, try again, and it does not work.

  I've done it before, but now it does not work. I don't know what's happened prevents him from online to the location of the cursor.

  It seems to me that the image is too wide for the frame. You can place it on the editing table, scale in the size, then cut to the Clipboard and paste it into the flow of the text.

• Editing the text in InDesign CS3

  I am trying to edit text in an older InDesign file.  When I try to edit the text, the text cursor changes places pointed outside delimiter to a round and I can't select or change the type.  What is the change in the appearance of the average slider and how to change the text?

  This could explain why the tool moves to type on a path. ID think that you want to add more text on the lines. If the file has been saved with the text you entered, you're sol save a version of type without a modifiable version is about criminal (and we will not go into why you should describe the text initially).

• Reverse the text of spot color?

  I have a block too many spot color printing, I need to come back on a text. However, the block overlaps other colorful objects and these must not have anything hit out of them, which means I can't use the color chart paper for the text. I can convert the text to outlines and the punch of the block with the Pathfinder, but it is anyway to achieve the same effect while keeping text editable?

  I need reverse my text control text so that I can read the text on a mirror.   When you rotate or scale-1 it must be remembered that the left position is now the old x - width of the control, so if you want a wide control 200 at position x = 10, you you x 210.

  I used MS Word v2003 to summarize notes for my students

  The result is six paintings in a single document (file). Some less than one page A3 (landscape), some are long three-page A3 (landscape)

  Now I find I can't enlarge the width of the table to A2 in MS Word because it has a limit that is A3

  Two questions

  (1) am I correct in thinking that the Ican have large tables in In Design?

  (2) how do you propose I have check the document In Design.

  I have the trial version to see if it works. I've used the CS4 web suite.

  When you place the file, shift + click on the first page of the InDesign document to autoflow the entire Word document.

• Placing the text in TextEdit, formatting preserved

  Customer keeps me seending text it saves like TextEdit (or e-mail, which, when they are copied from TextEdit, does preserve, it is formatted).

  But when I place the text in InDesign, even when selecting "Preserve styles and formatting" it still appears as the default, all regular fonts no ital or "BOLD" and "BOLD" - ital.

  You have a copy of Word? It looks like paste into Word and then place the file will do the trick. Paste from Word the same thing you describe thus:

  1. Paste the text into Word
  2. Save and close the Word doc
  3. File > Place in InDesign

• Change the color of the text in a PNG (Image attached)

  The attached picture is a PNG and has a transparent background behind the main design body and the text at the bottom.

  I created the design in indesign and then exported as a PNG file, the background was always white because to achieve the shape of the design, I used a piercing group. After removing the background in photoshop, it is that I find myself with, but what I want to know is, is there an easy way to change the color of the text in the lower part of the black to white in photoshop, rather than change the color of the text in indesign and repeat the whole process?

  Just make a selection of words and then use a fill color adjustment layer.

  (Layer > fill new layer > solid color)

  CTRL or command click the thumbnail in the layers panel, and then subtract from selection of everything except the words.

  Use the rectangular selection tool while pressing the Alt or Option key to subtract from selection of everything except the words.

  I did not delete the text "[[[eps001.eps]]]...". "using script, you test and eventually remove it by using grep.
