Reverses the order of the pages of Word to PDF

When I create a PDF from an existing Word document it scans the pages in reverse order so that I see the second page first.  How can I fix it?  I have Word 2000 and Acrobat 9 Standard.  Any help will be much appreciated.

In Word under Tools > Options > print tab, make sure that "Reverse the order of characters" is not checked.

    This is way beyond what can be done with PDF, except by copying the text and make a new document in Word or something.

    That said, Adobe Reader on Windows may display the text AS IF the PDF file has been divided. It's the text reformatting. It may be possible in Reader for iPhone, you can try the player for ios forum.

    Product that works well to choose Select the pages to an existing PDF and copy to a new PDF file?

    Hi Gregh65396892,

    You must use Acrobat, you can download a free trial of 30 days from the following link: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us/free-trial-download.html

    After downloading and installing Acrobat, you can open both files in acrobat with enabled page thumbnails view, select the pages in a PDF document, then drag them to the pane "thumbnail" file pdf of another, and these pages will be copied in the second file.

  • Is it possible to create a PDF file using only the pages of an existing PDF?

    Is it possible to create a PDF file using only the pages of an existing PDF?

    Hi drdanger,

    There is a way, and it requires Acrobat. You need Acrobat to extract pages from a PDF. You are welcome to try free for 30 days, Acrobat, if you haven't already. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

    If Acrobat, you choose extract in the Pages of the Toolbox pane, then specify which pages you want to extract. These pages are extracted to a new PDF file, which then you name and save it.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI for mac, how to reverse the pages of a pdf file and how to bring together two files into one pdf

    I scanned large documents, which have two sides. Because they were printed on glossy paper, I couldn't scan pages double face. So I did two files, a file that contains all the even-numbered pages and a file containing all of the odd pages. Now, I have two problems: 1. in the even pages file pages are in reverse order, so I need to reverse the order of the pages in this file. Then I need to combine these two files (gather) so that all the odd and even pages are combined in a single file and all the pages are in the correct order.

    In former acrobat pro (windows) programs, I found a javascript file that could fix all this. But now I have Acrobat XI and I have a macbook pro, so now I am completely lost. Can someone help me with this problem?

    If you have a script that does then you should use this... Open the console and run this command:

    app.getPath ("app", "javascript");

    It will display the location, you need to use the .js file you have. Then restart Acrobat and you should be good to go.

  • I scroll to the bottom of the page, all (words, pictures, etc.) moves to the right and becomes illegible.

    only on Mozilla Firefox is what is happening. I refresh the page, everything becomes legible, but when I scroll to the bottom of page, that everything is deformed once again, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Mozilla, has not set. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

  • I can't go back to the page where I convert PDF files.

    I'm in a list of my files, and I can't understand how to return to the page where I can convert PDF files to word doc. Can you help me?

    Hi freemulch1516,

    If you are connected to http://cloud.acrobat.com, you should see this menu bar:

    You're very probably on the files page - this is where you will see your list of files. Click ExportPDF (in blue, above) to find the PDF file > Word conversion options.

  • How to change the orientation of the page of a file pdf size and margins of page? Are there tools available to do this?

    We're converting Lotus Notes documents in PDF format by exporting (printing) to PDF using a PDF writer but found that some contents are truncated or cropped. Must manually reprint in pdf format using a different page/paper settings in order to capture the content correctly. Are there other methods or tools that can automate this step? Would it not possible to change the PDF properties to adjust the size of the page, etc.?

    Hope that there are some useful tools available as there are thousands of documents that have this problem. Thank you.

    Page size options are limited, but are in the crop tool. If there are no tags or other markup, you can also print to a new PDF and adjust the size of the printer - sometimes the simplest interface, but normally not recommended. The rotation can be made in the menu document and then saved. The rotation, which is usually on the toolbar are only for the current view and does not record with the PDF file. Many of them you can use a batch process to solve (in AA8 which is under the advanced > Document Processing). The best method is to set up your printer Adobe PDF to create the correct page size and orientation to the future. You can configure to develop in general for the installation, select a paper size, and have set parameters for auto-rotation. The latest is based on the text that is on the page. The elimination of the margin is also part of the crop tool. I hope that gives you at least a few things to look at. Unfortunately, tools moving with each version, so you have to get the tools.

  • place mp3 stop playing on the page turns in exported pdf

    Hi, I placed an audio file in a file, indesign 'media' setting 'stop on the tour of the page' unchecked and still, the file stops when I turn the page in the pdf file. I have a button (mouse liberation action) reading order and judgment (mouseover action) of the file.

    Try using the option of the floating window. My memory is that it works. Too tired to try tonight.

  • Increase the size of the page in an existing PDF?

    We have a PDF of a drawing of a CAD consultant.  The problem is, corresponds to the letter page size, and we need to be tabloid to accommodate a part of the General Notes and a table of estimated costs.  He would rather not go back to the consultant from a cost perspective, from a point of view time.

    Is it possible to increase the size of the page in the PDF file so that I have an empty space upstairs or downstairs for the blocks needed?

    I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

    Thank you!

    Yes, this can be done. Acrobat Pro, access the tool from the Tools of Production to feel the value of Page boxes . At the bottom of the dialog box, you will be fine to Change Page size. This will change the size of the page per your specifications.

  • Shares of the layers disappear when the pages are replaced in PDF format?

    If I replace pages in a PDF with updates, my actions to layers seem to not keep the stock they've installed their. I check the properties and they seem to be there, but the action does not work.

    I replace the exact amount of pages and the exact amount of layers.

    Any ideas? Did I miss something if I replace the pages?

    I think that you need to restore stocks. The layers are not as annotations that are left in place when the underlying page is replaced. Layers (OCGS) are content page, then when they are replaced by something new, the connection is broken.

    Consider what would happen if you replace a page which had OCGS with one who is not. The OCGS being more present, all actions that naturally control would not work. Thus, even when you replace one page by another which contains the same OCSs, they are still not considered the same as a lower level and actions may no longer work.

  • How can I specify the Page size when exporting PDF in CS5?

    Hi all

    I just upgraded to ID CS5 and I'm really impressed with the improvements. Of course, however, some aspects take a few adjustments that brings me to my question. How can I specify the size of the "printed" page when you export a PDF file? Basically, in CS4 I could set up a document to have, for example a page size of 20x20cm. I could then print it in PDF format and select a page A4 format. This meant that I could get my printer to print the document of 20 x 20 irregular size on a standard paper size and include benchmarks of crop etc. In CS5, I cannot get ID to export the pages that they are configured (i.e. 20x20cm).

    I don't know I must be missing something obvious here, someone has any ideas?

    I hope that I managed to explain my problem clearly enough and we hope to hear from someone soon. Thank you very much in advance for any help you can provide!

    As a student of architecture, I'm pretty new to publication. My main need is for portfolio presentations and also my thesis work. So far, as mentioned earlier, before CS5 I was printing to / check-in PDF directly from ID without problem. For some reason any (and I stil have not thought to it yet) it seems the only way I can get the PDF of ID files is to create a Postscript file, open with Preview (I use a Mac) and then save as PDF.

    Try file > report > Adobe PDF (Print)... to make a PDF file you can print from Acrobat or Reader. You will have several presets of your choice, or you can use your own options if you have settings that you prefer, which will make a PDF suitable for different types of printing scenarios. For digital output instead of a commercial press, a ggod preset choice would be of high quality printing, but you can even use the same jopoptions or settings file you were using to print directly to PDF in the past.

  • How to reverse the order of the Pages in Acrobat Pro ms

    Old problem but the Javascripts there do not work for me and the whole implementation of scripting in Acrobat Pro MS became more difficult.

    I have books that are crawled back to the front so the PDF on page 300 of the book is page 1 of the PDF and 300 of the PDF page is page 1 of the book

    I just need to select all the pages and reverse their order. But this doesn't seem to be an option in one of the tools for editing, organization of a page.

    Javascripts out there used to add a menu item in the menu "Documents":

    app.addMenuItem ({cName: "Opposite Page", cParent: "File", cExec: 'PPReversePages();', cEnable: 'event.rc = (event.target!}) (= null); ', NPO: 0

    });

    function PPReversePages()

    {

    var t = app.thermometer;

    t.Duration = this.numPages;

    t.Begin ();

    for (i = this.numPages - 1; i > = 0; i)

    {

    t.Valeur = (i - this.numPages) *-1;

    this.movePage (i);

    t.Text = "Moving page" + (i + 1);

    }

    t.end ();

    } / / JavaScript Document

    but I can't find any way to run this script...

    NO.... I went to

    Support/Adobe/Acrobat ~users/mydrive/application

    and there is no "JavaScript" folder there... I made one, put it in the script and restart Acrobat: 'Nada' nothing.

    But back on the web and research: I found this solution that works.

    In Acrobat Pro DC go to

    1. Tools--> [scroll all the way down]-->
    2. Customize-->
    3. Action Wizard-->
    4. New Action--> [scroll the left panel under "choose tools to add :-->
    5. More tools-->
    6. Run JavaScript-->
    7. the new action appears on the right panel-->
    8. "Set your default values: let him-files to process--> file currently open by default.
    9. Under the "execute Javascript", click on-->
    10. Specify the parameters (why he didn't say "Enter your Script"?)
    11. another panel inaugurates his... paste this script:
    12. for (var i = this.numPages - 1; i > = 0; i--) this.movePage (i);
    13. Click OK to close and then save the action...
    14. Asked to name the action,
    15. Name it 'Reverse the Page order' and save...
    16. New action now appears in the action list Wizard Actions "reverse the Page order.

    It works!

    In my humble OPINION of older versions of Acrobat had a menu scripts at the top of the screen, right, totally accessible.

    Of course if you were not 'in' JS you can ignore it... But if you * use scripts *, he is not buried.

    This new UX is one of the worst imaginable scenarios.

    Maybe the Acrobat team has lost it's top UX people?

  • The numbers of page drag off the page

    I wrote a book. 266 pages.

    I use paragraph styles and style of the page on the right is "odd header".

    It works fine on all pages except section changes. Although the position of the majority looks fine in InDesign files, when I export the book in pdf format the numbers at the beginning of the sections are placed far to the right that they do not appear in the pages of chapter new pdf.

    I checked for "more wrinkles" and is not the problem. The text for the new section header block is the same framework that I use on the pages of each chapter.

    ID CS5

    Intel Mac 10.6.7

    Thank you.

    Postscripting isn't a way forward in the resolution of a problem, likely to beat the most problems.

    Better to fix the problem and have export properly.
