Everything was fine with Firefox and YouTube, but when I went on YouTube this morning that Firefox kept crashing when I tried to watch videos? He plays either but the vid & audio is very bitty, or I get a black vid screen! or a grey screen with white exclamation mark in the Middle? I tried to reset Firefox, but this did not help, or makes things worse! I've also updated for Firefox 34.0, but still it won't play videos!

I have tried so that the first thing, but it didn't work at all. Anyway, I solved the problem in the meantime by uninstalling Firefox and put it back. Please note that I had to do a CLEAN install, and I mean by 'clean' that I had to remove the settings as well. First I tried to reinstall it but I kept the settings (Firefox will ask if you want to keep when you uninstall) and it did not work. I therefore saved bookmarks and uninstalled everything. The later resettlement has solved the problem.
As well as the information provided by Vinod, you should also be aware that your internet connection speed will also affect how you receive your video. If your internet speed is 8 MB per second or less, chances are that the internet connection is the cause of the problem, especially, if like most of the ISP, you ISP limits the speed of the internet at certain times of the day. For example, the problem happen only between the hours of, let's say 18:00 and 21:30. If this is the case then the ISP is limiting the speed on your line. The only option, if that is the case, is to upgrade your internet package at a higher speed, i.e. 30MBps.

Captivate 8 - video integration problems. Video won't play Web server when published under the title of course HTML5 and video is selected to play in the same screen. Play video it works only in a new window. The problem is the customer's requested integrated video and it shows as an option in Captivate 8. In addition, the video screen is not at the same place on the screen, the image moves to the top of the browser window in Internet Explorer. Graphics problems appear ONLY in IE and Chrome for PC. We have updated browsers, installed all updates to Captivate 8 etc.
The issue seems to be with internet explore. The url is *.mp4, if IE browser opens Media player in a new window to read the files.
Workaround solution:
Instead of using the interaction of the Web object, you can use a Web object (objects-> Web) site in the menu object.
After insertion, select the code incorporated in the style of the real property section. (Screenshot below)
Encapsulate the url in an HTML video tag and use it as input.
I've updated the flash 17NPAPI drive 3/20 and now no audio or video will play. Went through all the help the Odobe website which shows the installation but also shows my OS XP, but I have windows 7. The previous version was still appearing in my programs as active 16 X adobe flash player so I deleted a new and thought that the old one would work so well. But still no audio or videos don't play.
My windows media player works fine, it's just when I get online with firefox that I'm having this problem...

Hello I've updated to the latest version of flash player 11.4.402.287 today, the two versions of activex or plugin appear in flash Manager. However, I'm unable to play youtube flash videos, the bar at the top shows "Install missing plugin" I repeated the installation process, it does not appear to complete successfully, but even once when trying to play youtube videos, the "install missing plugin appears" and the videos will not play.
I have also installed and re installed the last version of firefox today, thought that can help, seem to have the same problem. The flash player is not listed in the plugin adds on the list. I don't know what else to do, or what could be the problem.
I would appreciate any advice, please

Cannot understand it. I have a video file to stream my published Flash file. Works fine at home. All files are in one folder. Transfer the file on a USB key to bring it to school and When I load up on the Web site I get this spin green/black on the skin of the piece and the video will not play. I'll double check to see if I can play on my machine of the school directly to the USB output and it does not work either (he did on my machine at home). Any ideas on how I'm spoil? Thank you
OK by what you say, I assume you are using the flash component. To the place where you have been searching for that modification of the file, the path to be compared to only have the name of the video instead of the path. I have attached a screenshot.
Since my upgrade to 29 FF, videos on some web sites will not play. I tried to disable any potential ad blocking, ghostery, and various plug-ins without result. I say different because as long as I visit a site such as YouTube of video hosting, there is no problem. Seems that any site that has a video that shows their won content ' t play. I also tried 3 cookies and pop ups. I'm out of ideas. You have any ideas?
Note that you have a few extensions that can block content or cookies or interfere with data recovery
If you have many extensions then first turn on half of test extensions that half the problem.
Continue to divide the bad half that still has the question until you find that one is causing it.
It is also possible that web pages use a < video > tag to use a media player to HTML5.
You can disable this media player by setting these false prefs on the topic: config page.
I run Firefox version 28 on a laptop Lenovo G700 of 64-bit running Windows 8.1. I try to view the videos on news sites. Most of them (ABCNews, CNN, Fox News, NBCNews) gives me no trouble, but two of them - CBS and PBS - won't let me watch videos. (IE11 and Chrome, works of PBS, but CBS does not.) On PBS, I get an error message of "plug-in file missing '. On CBS, all I get is a black placeholder (which does not left or right click) where the video play. Sometimes, I don't get even, just white space. I updated my plugins, reinstalled Shockwave Flash several times, and I went through my plug-ins, turn them on and turn off, testing as recommended; I could not find a plugin that's causing trouble. All I know is that PBS uses a program of "JW" to put its videos. I sent CBS tech support to see if they could give me some pointers; all they do is recommend Chrome, which does not work (as I mentioned above). I'm at the end of my mind; Anyone run into this sort of thing? Note: there is probably a different solution for each Web site, because the events are different.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

I recently made Firefox my default browser instead of Chrome, mainly just for variety and to keep abreast of things; no biggie. There are many video playback problems. I recently solved a big problem, where videos may play, but NOT in fullscreen to foxsports.com/foxsportsgo, by disabling hardware acceleration, as suggested in the title of the Firefox Help. Thank you. Yes, I have read almost ALL of Firefox in a box help suggestions about video playback problems, but I don't have a solution. I tried to do the master reset as suggested, but it was without result. I checked and I have the latest version of Flash Player plugin, 15.0.0.189. There is always activate. I have no problems with the videos play when using Chrome. I have lived a number of sites and video playback problems, but here I will focus on one: a video and it seems to have loaded Ok because it illustrates an image (a teaser, not the 1st frame); but when I click on play it says: "year error occurred, please try again later ' and there is a link «read more» Following this link, the next page says I should wait 30 minutes and then try reading again. They are all systematically fail for me with this singularly useless generic error message!

The example site you provided are mainly youtube embedded links, and help to try again in 30 minutes is perhaps due to the number of people viewing the video. Of course it works http://davidblaine.com/video/street-magic on my virtual machine.

I recently bought and HP Envy 17 laptop and have tried any backup of my 5s iphone photos and videos on thelaptop however whenever I try to play videos through the pictures folder or photo library enforcement nothing works. In the photo app to the app just freezes and crashes, and the pictures in the document reader media folder just happens does not. This happens with most of my videos
I saw that other people have had the same issure and I installed the VLC video application as suggested and still nothing.
There was an IOS update since I started to take videos but it makes no difference that a few videos that work are both before and after the update so it may not be a problem with my phone, and videos I've taken in the last days do not work
