  If you just need decision-making supported dual monitor, you will not need to upgrade the power supply. It is really only necessary for game cards that does not fit your situation. As for what the card specifically, I can't recommend a specifically because really, you can't go wrong with any of them! I recommend the following guidelines when looking for a card:

  • Make sure that they have double video outputs
  • Look at those $ 100. They work for you.
  • See if they need an extra power connector. Try to go with those who do not have a need. Those who can function in your system, but it depends on the map.
  • Make sure that the resolutions are supported by the card to work for your monitor. Applies if your screen is very high (above 1600 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080) resolution.

  The main reasons to be sure of are normally feeding you, special (to THE) cable power supply for the graphics card, on the motherboard compatible expansion slot, the drivers for your operating system, another thing to know is the physical size of the map, for moments of cases.

  Looking at the specs of your system and the motherboard by default, I listed the type of slot of power and expansion.

  So on a quick inspection of both devices there are three problems, so this card will not work on your motherboard or with the current power.

  If I'm not mistaken, the card you are trying to install is PCIe 2.1.

  Your PC was introduced in October 2005.

  This means that the slot is PCIe 1. 0 a, or at best, PCIe 1.1.

  For some reason, PCIe 2.1 cards have a hit or miss work history with these old version PCIe connectors.

  So that this card has a very high probability of working, you would have a PCIe 2.0 on the motherboard slot.

  There are no patches or updates to BIOS to change the version of the crack.

  My recommendation would be to return the card and get a powerful high 2.0 PCIe card of your choice.

  PCIe 2.0 video cards have a high success rate to work with a slot PCIe 1.1 or 1. 0a.

  I have a satellite L series with dual graphics card that works together. Its an AMD Radeon 3400 m apu with a built-in HD 6520 G and a discreet graphics of 6400 m.

  The 6400 m turns on never, I used the amd system monitor to see if it is already in use, but it's never.

  As far as I know, this topic has already been discussed here in the forum and the switch between internal and external ATI GPU is not supported.
  Just designed by nVidia Optimus technology is supported
  So you can switch between the GPU from Intel and nVidia (if both would support Optimus technology)

  Anyway, in your case, it is interesting that Toshiba use adapted drivers because of the material. This means that this graphics card is not required to run at the maximum level. Material cooling in laptops is very problematic and high temperature can cause overheating or a material damage. All hardware components are placed on a small square. Graphics card produces a lot of heat and it is not so good for other material.

  When you use graphic driver non-Toshiba card is forced to run faster. That's any use of support laptop manufacturers don t of third party drivers. The fact is that physical protection is a priority.

  I didn t do all the experiments, but according to some reports on this forum, there is how to install the driver of non-Toshiba graphics card.

  This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated! There are a few illustrative notes to an engineer from Adobe that you can read here: notes for Lightroom CC GPU (2015) in order to better understand what is happening. Currently, in most cases, I recommend leaving off the coast. I think that Adobe is trying to improve and have more cards supported, but it is not yet completely there.

If you better save your money and go with a gtx. the gtx 950 would be about the same performance as this K4200, but much less expensive. a 970 gtx about 2 x more powerful, but still half the price.

  I had trouble finding a graphics card for my desktop PC, because I have not yet installed. I bought a few steam games which does not really require much to run like today's games. Although I always have trouble trying to run my games decently. My goal is to run my games to a good 60 frames per second. A game in my library that is very difficult to run is on salary 2. My power is 300w and my monitor goes up to 1980 x 1080 p, so I'm not looking for everything that will lose its power. My budget is $ 80, but I would really like that it if you could find it cheaper.   You go to control panel, system maintenance, and then Device Manager. Scroll down and look for graphics cards, click the plus tab, click on the model of integrated graphics card you have. Then right click and a menu appears, select turn off and that's all. Then follow the instructions on your new graphics card. Good luck...
