  I use CS4 and do not use cloud apps. Adobe has removed access to download palettes created? There used to be a download under ACTIONS button that isn't there anymore.

  For subscribers of creative cloud

  The download feature is no longer available.  But, you can still access your themes in all your Adobe applications.  If you are looking to access your themes in other applications, here's how:

  Step 1: On the page explores (or theme page) click the icon "change the copy."

  Step 2: If you want to make changes, you can do so on the next page that loads (the color wheel). Once you are done making changes, click on the Save"" button.

  Step 3: Enter a name for your theme, and then select the library you want to save in.

  Now, the theme will be displayed in your libraries in your applications.  In most applications, you can access the library by accessing the window > library.

  For anyone who is not a subscriber of creative cloud:

  The download feature is no longer available.  Creative cloud libraries is the mechanism that adobe uses to share assets between applications.  If you do not have a CC membership, it's doable, but not too easy.

  Option 1: You will have to copy the RGB, HEX.  and paste the values into the application you are using.

  Option 2: If you have CS6 or earlier, you can use the "Kuler" Panel to access the 'public' colors and use them in your application.

• Captivate 8 bug RGB?

  I try to use the RGB values to change the color of an object.  I selects the object, open the Fill property, and choose the color picker.  No matter what numbers I get, the color results in dark gray or black as I tab through the values.

  Hexadecimal code works fine, but if I get #FFFFFF and it shows white, without going into all of the extra numbers just RGB tab, it turns to #020202.

  Does anyone else have this problem, or is that my Mac being surly?

  Indeed, just tried it on a PC and everything what RGB values, I go home, I do black. I did not see before, because I'm not based on Captivate for my color palette: it will create in Kuler, than to import it in the swatches Panel and use these colors (with color picker) for the assignment of colors. At least I am sure that the correct colors are applied.

  How can I import Adobe Kuler color palettes to dream?

  I looked for an answer to this, but no luck so far. Until Adobe will add this feature to the Muse, you can try this work around:

  1. import a Kuler .ase file in Illustrator (or Photoshop too I guess)

  2. Select the color you want in Illustrator and note the RGB values

  3. create new samples in Muse and use the RGB indicated instead of the color picker.

• Kuler results do not correspond to Photoshop and Illustrator results

  If anyone else has noticed this?

  For example if I type RGB 59, 67, 108 in Kuler I achieve these results.

  CMYK 45, 38, 0, 58

  LAB 29, 9-25

  HSB 230, 45, 42

  HEXAGONAL 3B436C

  If I type RGB 59, 67, 108 in PH or DO I get these results.

  Photoshop and Illustrator

  CMYK 86, 78, 33, 19

  HSB 230, 45, 42

  HEXAGONAL 3B436C

  Photoshop

  LAB 6, 29, -25

  If CMYK and LAB results do not match.

  If you use the color themes Panel of InDesign and Photoshop, you would find on the CMYK values in the Panel (Create tab) must match the product.

• Why are different colors Photoshop and Illustrator kuler?

  When I color in kuler, I get the RGB and CMYK numbers for them.

  When I enter the RGB in Photoshop, I get different CMYK values.

  When I enter the CMYK in Illustrator, I get different values of RBG.

  Which I believe?

  I guess it must be something to do with color profiles. Can someone advise please?

  P.S. I asked this before in the kuler forum but this forum is very quiet .

  The numbers are specific to the color space. If working spaces/document profiles are different, you will get different numbers for the same color.

  In addition, a color may be out of gamut in a particular color space and cannot be reproduced here, so it is cut to the closest reproducible color.

  I'd really like to see in Kuler using the CMYK and RGB breakdowns with the combinations somehow. For those of us who do not have apliications CS2 and cannot use the swatch exchanmge file, it would be really useful! Then we can just the number punhc in our applications to get accurate colors

  I know that this has been suggested before, but it should be noted how incredibly useful this function would be.
  
  Many times, we designers have a unique colour (or more) chosen, or even more regularly, a logo of company, scheme or palette we work out of.
  
  At present, kuler is wonderful for the discovery, navigation, etc. But, if I could take the logo #0376ab that was made for me by my distraught customer or boss of Bucephalus and instantly discover already amazing palettes (as agreed by the collective great mass of passionate users kuler) that titillate the senses and are full of inspiration - I would visit kuler for every design project that came in my head.

  Alert Easter Egg: you can search by the hexadecimal color values by entering "hex: #" in the search field. For example:

• Preview color management issue - glued assigned Adobe RGB image

  I often web elements page layout in InDesign that my composition tool, then copy and paste in Photoshop as a smart object to then generate optimized web images. It's just easier to use photoshop. Problem, it is in the latest versions of Adobe have clogged the engine of anti-aliasing and now when rasterising a PDF file or paste a picture also as a chip oppose any portion of the image of this asset is smoother. You don't really notice that if the image of origin placed in InDesign is say double or more this resolution of the web version of final product, the scale hides the issue. But if they are closer to really see faceting full size occurs. Long story... anyway, I decided to study the implementation overview of Apple as a gateway for the rasterising instead of photoshop. He did a good job on glued assets resampling, but on this point saving and checking in Photoshop, I note that Preview assigned Adobe RGB profile to the processed image. Even if I opened the InDesign PDF and export as image in my size. My color workflow is sRGB. InDesign and Photoshop are two parameters in this way, the image placed in InDesign also has sRGB profile, the PDF has sRGB profile. If I copy / paste between InDesign and Photoshop, they are both aware glued Trump space and warn me if different from that of the target document. I have no idea where Preview becomes Adobe RGB, I don't see its place in the app to change that as a preference, and in any case, it seems very strange to be a defect when most of the people would not use them.

• No display on screen Z30 - a Portege but HDMI / RGB ports work

  I have a laptop of i7 Z30 - A old Portege of 6 months (PT243A-0HW02X) running Windows 7 64 bit and the internal display of 1920 x 1080 screen 13.3 "doesn't work - nothing is displayed on the screen.

  However, I can connect an external monitor via the port of RGB cable or the HDMI port and still use the laptop like that.

  I tried various output F5 toggle function choose Clone, external, Extend, switch display, but nothing works to get back out again to the laptop screen.

  The external option that I see a gray icon to clear color laptop with an X on the screen, and a '1' on another display icon and a window is displayed for "Toshiba Flash Cards" red x error message "Failed to initialize the output Configuration dialog box!". "."

  There is no extra help available to tell me what the problem is.
  When I choose the option to set up output function F5, the 'Internal' line is grayed out so I can't select it.

  Does anyone else have this problem?
  An update of the BIOS might help tell me if there is a hardware problem?
  There is nothing about the display error in the Windows Event Viewer.

  I recommend you to choose the ZIP package in order to install the driver in Device Manager by using the Advanced installation procedure.

  I installed XP on my laptop like 2 months ago and I think I downloaded almost al drivers expect the RGB driver I did today when I tried to connect it to a LCD... Where can I find the driver for it can someone help...?

  I guess you need VIDEO driver since I never heard of a RGB driver. The VIDEO (or known as VGA) driver is usually available on the toshiba driver site, so I Don t understand why you need this if you have already downloaded all the drivers available.

  Can you describe exactly what happens when you try to connect an external display?

  Would appreciate feedback on your part. :)

• Toshiba 23WL56G: can't change the PC RGB mode settings more

  I have a problem with my (older) 23WL56G: I changed some settings in PC RGB mode and cause of that I can't change the settings more (the image flashes and closes the menu seconds)

  Q: is der any method to reset the TV?
  There is no entry for this menu there is probably a code I can enter the menu? (or a combination of button that I push?)

  Have you tried to reset the TV?
  Do this.
  GO to the system configuration menu, select TV point Reset and press OK to select.

• 1920 x 1080 - RGB - PC is not possible on Toshiba 32L2333DG

  I recently bought a 32L2333DG.

  When I connect the PC to the RGB/PC port I can only get 1366 x 768 maximum resolution. I find nothing on this topic in the user manual. (I tested with another TV and my PC can display 1920 x 1080 with the standard VGA port)

  If I connect the PC using HDMI then I get 1920 x 1080.

  The question is: what should I do to achieve maximum resolution using RGB - PC port?

  I guess this 1366 x 768 is the max resolution of supported using the RGB/PC port

  I work with device of automatic titration requiring the RS232 port for connection!

  AFAIK the RS-232 port is a serial port and I don t think that it of possible to connect the RGB port to the RS232 port.
  But I found the site useful:

• DesignJet 500: DJ500 print only RGB from Indesign CC 2014

  I hope someone could help me with this problem. I am trying to print to my DJ500 from Indesign, but the only option for the output color is gray and RGB. If I print RGB colors are off, very dark. If I make a PDF and print from Acrobat Pro it works well.

  Any ideas for Indesign?
