RH8 AIRHelp browser-based: empty, empty

HR 8.0.2.208

When I go to the local browser based AIRHelp, everything works fine, but when you access it from a location network, the page is blank. It is not FAKE or whatever it is.  The only thing I see is a gray, rendered background in Flash.

This problem occurs in IE 8 and FF 3.6

Is there a solution for this?

Hello

You must change the setting to display using the browser based on the flash player security network location. RoboHelp is the same for the local folder when you build the help. There is already a solution posted on the forum link http://forums.adobe.com/thread/506780?decorator=print&displayFullThread=true

  • Out of browser-based Airhelp does not open in the network location

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help with the following problem:

I want to activate the internal evaluators open my help based on a browser of AIR in a shared network location. Currently, in order to open help, examiners must proceed as follows (which seems quite complicated):

    1. create a folder on their local systems: \Macromedia\Flash Player\ #Security\FlashPlayerTrust.

    2. stick the folder in the file RoboHelp.cfg (containing the network path to my index.html AIR help file).

I derived the steps above to the procedure provided for by http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/RoboHelp/RoboHTML/WS1b49059a33f77726-484da80912ce87f5f33-8000. html

Is there a way to avoid having to do the examiners perform these steps in order to access using AIR on a shared internal network location?

Looks like a very involved process to just check that others in the company can open and test it. Is they do not do this and they click on the index file, it seems that the help opens, but then hangs on a blue and gray box with a progress bar that never moves.

    Thank you!

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for the reply. We use Tech Comm Suite 3 (Robohelp 9). We could continue on the road to examine the content of the PDF, but we need our QA reviewers the opportunity to test the output of Airhelp browser based in different types of browsers. That's why we want to display the files somewhere and give them the opportunity to open them in different browsers.

    Thank you

In this case I might suggest that you find a way to deploy to a web server via a URL that is not published. Just provide the URL to your testers.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Published by airhelp browser does not work

    Hi all

I'm currently experimenting with Airhelp released in RH8 and problems with step of publishing.

I have a test project that I generate in the format of the base browser airhelp. When I discovered it, or open the start page, it loads fine and I see the skin, table of contents, summary, etc..

When Publish, exit and opens the start page, I just get a grey/green background United without content. As I'm testing, I just chose the file system and publication in a folder on my C drive and not a real Web server.

Any ideas what might be going wrong with my stage edition?

    Hi Amebr,

If you want to display using air browser based on your hard drive, then you must type %appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Flash #Security\FlashPlayerTrust\ in your windows, run the command window, this will open the flashplayertrust folder. This folder has a robohelp.cfg file, open this file in Notepad and add your basic airhelp browser after the output folder path.

The issue is due to the increased security of Flash player. RoboHelp automatically maintains the file RoboHelp.cfg in the FlashPlayerTrust folder. This file is used by Flash Player to check the trust files. This warranty applies only if you run flash fromo Lecteur_Local files, if you publish content on the server and view from there so this problem does not arise.

  • links not working not not in the air browser-based help

I have a small test project that I use to test the help of output using Robohelp 8 AIR. In my project I am linking to several external documents to Word files, Excel files, records of Webex, etc.. When I generate webhelp output, these links work correctly, but when I generate output browser-based AIRhelp, they do not work. Why would it be?

I saw a similar question posted on this topic this summer, but the answer didn't help me

    Hello

When you generated the AIR browser based outlet, did you try publishing to any web server and see if the links work fine or not?

Are also records all exterior, part of your project as hatracks, I tried the following steps

Created a new project in HR

    1. in the first topic, creates a hyperlink to a word docx file, clicking ok, HR askes to copy the file in the project folder, click Yes.
    2. genearte browser based AIR helps
    3. Display in the browser Firefox/Chrome

I did address the issue, when I saw the local content on IE (because of security problem in the case of IE). When I posted the content on the web sever and read in IE, everything worked as expected.

  • Helps air and browser-based PDF files

    Hello world

I'm if happy to have the forum like that, hoping that sharing experiences will help a little further.

Recently, I tried to generate a browser based AIR helps in combination with merged projects. Moreover, Peter Grainge tutorial was very helpful here, thanks Peter!

My project also contained a single PDF file in a luggage container. After that I had published my file, I noticed that it was not possible to open the PDF file somehow.

So I tried the same with Adobe AIR Application to contribute and worked the PDF. Now, I was wondering if I did something wrong or what I need to be aware of something.

Personally, I don't mind using Adobe AIR Application Help, the only downside I had discovered next to local, is installing the spacing document seemed to be a bit strange. In fact, there is no space between the border and the content. With any other release of single source there is, including the browser based AIR support.

I have not found any similar problems on this forum, but maybe someone of you has a tip for me.

Thank you and greetings from the Germany,

    Christian

    Hello

Have you tried the help output based on an opening in the browser Firefox, or chrome browser. Internet Explorer has a problem where it opens all files in the case of the browser based help seen locally (security issue with IE).

If you publish this aid to any Web server, and the view from there, everything will start works fine as expected. Please check and let me know

    Thank you

  • My Browser Based Air help does not work someone can tell me why?

    I use Windows 7 and HR 8.

I looked the site Grainge, who said it was similar to a merger.

So, my project is a merged project I used that to make the browser function will help.

I accessed the .xpj parent, clicked on Adobe Air file and let it generate browser based around air where he wanted. It gives rise to a SSL folder and the folders for my projects merged were there. I consulted a fusion of the child folder and clicked on Adobe Air to generate air support of browser based in the appropriate folder. It appears, but it did not display when I consulted the file original parent.

So, I joined the company mother .xpj file again once clicked on Adobe Air and changed the homepage to c:\RHair82\HelpforSs.htm. What makes the path more runs.

She produced a file mergedProjects with folders for all my projects merged. However, it has not produced a SSL folder. Again, not able to display the child's record, but I couldn't access it from the parent file.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

    Pat

By default, the wizard will create a path to a folder in the. SSL! folder. However if you set the path as C:\MyAirHelp, it does not generate one! SSL! folder, it will just create C:\MyAirHelp with mergedProject underneath and you build projects from child to their appropriate folder, it.

You may need to generate all the projects of the child before it works.

The first thing I would check is that the installation works if you generate WebHelp. Also try to work with the download of my site. It is very basic and makes the resolution of the problems.

Post at the time you tried.

Some time ago I tried merged AIR Navigator helps so I need to watch it again and I can't do it tonight.

  • Its browser is empty

I have been using FCPX for a long time without problem.  Suddenly, today, when I open the browser of sound (or Photo) the window is entirely empty.  None of my sound effects or iTunes or anything at all appears in the window.

I'm on the latest version of FCPX and El Capitan.  I have not recently upgraded any software.  I've deleted preferences and restarted my computer.  However, the windows are empty.

    Any suggestions?

    Trash your prefs?

  • Bookmarking in browser crashes the browser to empty bookmark dialog box!

Someone at - it see this one!

    1. I deleted the history, cache and all my favorite.
    2. If I call any page and try to bookmark, I get hooked to an empty bookmark - no page info dialog, cannot select icon!
    3. Cannot cancel or save or anything - I leave the browser!

I can't bookmark! However, by saving the page to the Launcher works fine (using the same dialog box or one like bookmarks)!

Well I fixed it, BUT it took a total reload of WebOS with webosdoctor to do!

    See:

    http://www.WebOS-internals.org/wiki/How_To_Recover

That put me back to WebOS version 1.2.0 (was 1.2.1) but Bookmarks work again. Upgrading to 1.2.1 even now.

Only thing I can think of cause is to have some patches installed and do the 1.2.1 upgrade.

If all the patches be removed PRIOR to installation of the updates, I wonder?

  • Test Canvas HTML in the browser is empty

I imported a number of images in a scene from the first frame of my project. (No animation yet.)

When I saw in any browser, I see nothing except the empty stage.

I'm new to Animate, coming edge animate, where he works.

What is the difference, and why I don't see the same thing to animate on the first picture?

    Thank you.

  • No animation in the browser, just empty

I created a simple banner with some basic animations. I never even touched any code. Base images only are used, no trigger, no symbol.

If I saw in Animate, everything works fine.

As soon as I hit ctrl + enter to view an overview in my browser, just remains empty.

I checked in several browsers, all have the same result without error in the console.

    Autorun is enabled.

I have no idea what could be the cause, any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply, I knew what the problem was now.

For some reason, nothing is displayed in the browser if the path contains "_728x90". Not even just the name of the file, I mean the full path.

I thought about it when redo the banner for the 4th time and tests in the browser after each step (but don't save, this was the 4th time I was again it..). He has always worked and I was happy that I finally made at the end. Then I saved the file with a useful name, and then it stopped working again. I rename and found out it was the problem.

I thought, well, if I can't put the resolution in the name of the file I'll rename the project file to include the latter. He broke again.

I have to add: my another banner which is 338 x 280 has no problem at all. I put "_338x280" in the name of the file without any problems. However "_728x90" it breaks.

Thought I should let the Adobe / know not the internet. This problem drove me almost crazy, I hope that Adobe can solve this problem quickly and at the same time people could find the problem here.

  • Cannot change Start Page in the browser based AIRHelp (TCS3)

I changed the Start Page of a project of AIRHelp (from index.html), but despite the new html page being launched (as shown in the browser), aid still shows the default original page. Any ideas anyone?

    Mark

The start page is what pulls the top of the window to three components. By default, it is called index.htm, you can change this in the page layout.

The default theme is the subject that appears in the window of three components. You can change the heading that appears, by default, that you should not have a topic called index.htm because it would cause confusion.

  • 10 by default blackBerry browser is empty

    Hello everyone.

My default browser of Z - 10 is a black Virgin page. The page is loaded because I can vaguely see a glimpse of a panel with a button start downstairs. Is there a settings for this page?

First problem I noticed since getting this phone yesterday. The Facebook application works successfully.

All good after a reboot. The browser worked fine or as expected. However Flash Player does not.

I think that some sites should do better than that. I think that HTML5 sites do not need flash to play the content.

  • Browser-based AIR help is displayed incorrectly

I use RoboHelp 11 to generate the browser help based on Adobe AIR with the included content categories. The output looks great when I open it from the local directory of SSL; However, once I have transfer (via FTP) files on the server which is hosted my website, aid based on the browser looks VERY bad. I'm not sure what's going on. It could be something very simple that I forget. I created my website using Adobe Muse and it is hosted through the Adobe Business Catalyst, so I don't know why my help files do not display correctly. Here is a link to the file on my site: index

    Any guidance will be appreciated!

    Kind regards

    Nick Iati

Could this something on Web server environment that interferes so? I think he'd be able to run Flash when it comes to the AIRHelp. WebHelp depends on the activation of JavaScript.
