• How can I remove projects including the event attachment and clips?

  I need to create a space on my external hard drive and have tried to delete projects, but no additional space makes its appearance. I tried to delete also a few photos that are in an event, but the original media always seems to be there and it does not have any space free.

  So I need to delete entire projects, including events and clips and also in some projects and events to reduce the amount of clips including the original media. How do I get there?

  I use Final cut pro x and OS X El Captain 10.11.5 version operating system

• Shortcut to move clips there are no gaps and clips do not overlap

  I would like to be able to select a bunch of clips and use a shortcut, so there is no gap between the clips and clips that are overlapping are moved so that they are side by side.  It's the secondary script.  Here is a screenshot.  I want these clips side by side, but I don't want to do it manually.  Y at - it a shortcut that will do it?  Thank you.

  

  AAfraid not. First move the clips, either one or the other, so that they are all online. Select them and make a secondary. Click on each of the gaps to select and remove. The magnetic chronology will be close to the top. Or mix just manually through hanging.

• Fuze and Clip back audiobook and takes over the functions of podcast

  I would like to see a podcast of resumé and a function of recovery audiobook on the Clip and the "rocket" so that I can play the part of a podcast or audio book, play music, then go back where I was in the podcast or audio book without having to remember what audiobook or podcast file played last , and how to navigate. I also want players to mark podcast and audiobook files as read when they are listened to completely, the capacity of the list only unread audiobook or podcast files and a function on the player to remove all the podcasts or books that have been read.

  Apparently, this issue has been addressed on the rocket, Clip and Clip +. I had not read that it was addressed and assumed that it was not. When you play a 'audio book' Park then some music files, then go back to the "book", it highlights the last file read in the book. In the past, I had made my series of podcasts in the audiobook on the Clip and the rocket record, but then ceased to do this. Now, I have a good reason to put them there once again. It's in the notes of the firmware and I missed it, or if it was not documented? In any case, I am pleased that this has been addressed.

  I am pleased that Sandisk responds to our requests when they are reasonable. I wish I had known earlier that this question is dealt with.

• Questions on Clip + and (Clip + vs Fuze) Fuze

  I'm going to buy a 8 GB Clip + or Fuze 4 GB, and 8 GB microSD. I read a lot of Clip + vs Fuze subjects, a lot of comments, but it won't get me anywhere, I'm still not sure that one would be better for me. You would help me a lot if you answered my questions. Even if it's subforum Clip +, and I assume most of you have Clip + or it's your favorite, please be fair with me on both players.

  (1) who has the better battery life? How it will change over the years? What happens if I listen to mostly FLAC?

  (2) that best understood earplugs?

  (3) do rockboxed Fuze sounds better than rockboxed Clip +? I heard that the rocket gets better EQ.

  (4) a port USB owner fuze. Does this mean I have to buy something more to connect it to the pc?

  (5) I saw the comments from users on both players in the review of the comments. There were many people who were not satisfied with the rocket because "it does not work, will not connect to the pc, I got white screen" etc. etc. when nobody said something like that on Clip +. " Is Fuze very much likely to get in the mess or is it just because more tech newbs like rocket?

  (6) I'm listening to binaural beats. Fuze and Clip + with caps default enough for this task? (the question is probably for those who also listen to binaural beats)

  (7) what (V1, V2) version of both players is better and why? How to know the version of the player before buy you? Can all be rockboxed?

• Subscription files Rhapsody WMA will not play in WMP 12, although it plays in Rhapsody and Winamp

  On Windows 7 when I save a file subscription WMA of the Rhapsody and then try to play using Windows Media Player 12, WMP appears an error dialog box that says: 'Windows Media Player has encountered a problem while playing the file.'.  If I open the file using the Rhapsody Player he plays very well (not), and I am also able to play the file using Winamp successfully.

  Why Windows Media Player does not report an error?  Is there a way I can get back to play Rhapsody subscription WMA tracks using Windows Media Player?

  According to Rhapsody songs as part of a subscription service and are expected to play by using the Rhapsody desktop application.  You may need to purchase the MP3 version of the files to read the files in Media Player.

• Add text and clip art

  I am fine tuning my first video clips and the addition of music, text and clip art. I use 8 first. When I add clip art and text, it's fine, but when I do a reading of an excerpt from the text and or clip art fanishes before the end of the clip. I put in 'time stretch' for the clip, is it possible to extend also the clipart image and text? I looked and read, but am not finding the answer. Thank you

  You are working in Assembly mode? If so, all you need to do is drag to stretch the text and clip art clips, so that they are as long as the background video.

  DO NOT use Time Stretch on your securities or clip art! It can lead to problems. If you have already applied, please delete.

• Cannot add files to Clip + but no error message and Clip Sport works fine on the same machine

  I used successfully the Clip + 4 GB for years without any problem, currently using Windows 7 Prem 64 bit.  Now when I try to add files using MS Explorer it shows the added file (in the Green window scroll bar) but never ends adding the file!  I waited 15 minutes for a short file without success.  Also, I started to use a Sport Clip 8 GB and it works fine, just can't get the Clip + to add more files.  I can delete files and can also use files that remain on the Clip + but can not add new ones.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance.

  I tried to reload the firmware and this time it worked well and is not only all my old stuff still on the Clip + but I was able to add a small file without problems and properly access all folders of files, so THANKS for the suggestion and the problem solved!  BTW, I had 318MB of space on the Clip +, not KB... Sorry about that

  I have an old Clip 4 GB firmware v 01.01.29A and a Clip + 8 GB firmware v 01.02.15A. I see that these are outdated versions and newer versions are available. I've never updated the firmware, so I was reading the messages to see how. Here's my question; I read that to remove FM Radio you should 'drop' the 'A' in the update. I see that the updates do not have the letter 'A' affixed. This doesn't mean no FM Radio more if I update the firmware for both of the clips? I don't want to lose the radio.

  I wouldn't bother with updating the Clip +. There is very little has changed since the version.15. It's the one I always use on mine.

  No, you won't lose the FM radio by updating the firmware. You must have read some old posts.

• OptiPlex 7040 Micro screws missing and clips for WiFi card

  We have just purchased four Optiplex 7040 Micro computers and open one open to see how they can get to everything in a small box.  By doing this, I noticed that the WiFi card has not been pressed by what it is.  It doesn't look good for me, so I opened the rest.

  One of them had a clear plastic retainer clip, with a screw now with card Wifi supported firmly in place.  The others had a screw, but not clips.

  Since then, I spoke with technical support and support enforcement.  They tell me that they cannot just send screws and Staples, only completely new computers.  Looks like a complete waste for me.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

• CODE TEMPORAL AND CLIP QUESTION NUMBERING

  I'm editing of clips from sd cards on my iMac.  Each clip begins to 00.00.00, and longer clips were divided into 2, 3, and even 4 clips 01, 02 etc.. No matter how many different ways, I imported the images, change preferences, using what has been suggested to me - I can't see timecode media browser. My colleague has imported the same images on his mac pro and can see timecode and the clips are not cut into segments.

  I'm pulling out my hair.  Can anyone help?

  Any card first copy on the hard drive and then ingest via Media Browser.

  Also in the preferences/media, timecode: use a media source.

• First stopped playing the timeline and clips

  Hey all, been working on a first Pro CC 2014 project over the weekend. Many worked yesterday... today, the timeline will not play, or only in the source window, video or audio clips. I have troubleshooted disks, directories rebuilt; permissions repaired; checked the audio material, etc., all to nothing does not. The media appear in both windows as well as online, I can see fine previews, but the reading head will not move when I hit the space bar or press the play button. I can scrub through the timeline. There are no ins or outings or markers in the sequence of Assembly. Has anyone had this problem recently on the current version of first CC 2014? I'm on a Macbook Pro 13 ", Mavericks 10.9.4. This facility has worked without problem since I went to the premiere in January, until today. Because, of course, delay. :-(

  Ouch. After hours of troubleshooting, I tore the rig, started building put it it back together and found out my audio interface (MOTU MicroBook II) became not enough juice to hub. I gave it its own port, and now I'm back running.

• Need a script for the trails and clipping paths

  I have over a hundred images (.tif or.) TIF) which have cut a path, but the names are all different. In addition, some have been activated for clipping paths. I need all paths tracks/clipping named path 1. I found an old javascript to do this using ExtendScript Toolkit, but it does not work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  It is not a translation problem, after all, some of the files had problems sharing & permissions so I changed them all to & read/write. So I ran two separate scripts because I do not know how to combine them into one. It's what worked:

• Sequence of rendering and Clip title information on encoded sequences.

  Is it possible in first, After Effects or Media Encoder to render the title of the name of sequence information and the name of the clip on the encoded videos? First, I would like to do this on Dallies to make it easier to examine, with out having to deal with long slate-ins and which do not.
