• Text field copy and paste over and over again :(

  Is it possible to automatically paste an editable text field in a document, only on odd pages and in the same place on the page. I am able to pass odd page to odd page and do a "paste in place", but it takes forever and I don't want on a master page because then it is not editable unless I 'Override all Master Page items', as I prefer not to do. Any ideas?

  Place it on a master page.

  Why would you use 'Replace all Master Page items' if there is only one you want to replace? A Ctrl (or Cmd for Mac) + Shift + double click releases an element to a single master page.

  I created a form with fields of rich text in LiveCycle. However, when my users with Acrobat, fill out the form, they get this error when you try to use the features of rich text as bold text:

  This area was created not as a rich text field. The error would occur if you're in Acrobat or Reader and it is indicating that you try to use a feature that you have not activated (bold added to a plain text field).

  Activate you the support of rich clickinng on the field text, then watching the object palette, then the field tab and you will see a list drop-down format of the field that will say either about Pailn or Rich text Affectez_ text him the RTF.

  I modified your sample for this field, so that you can see. Once you select the field you can also activate the RichText toolbar by pressing Ctrl-e.

  Can anyone else verify if able to type directly display Rich Text field using the STANDARD Android browser?

  I have to switch to the HTML tab so that the keyboard to appear and to be able to type.

  Have just checked on Galaxy Tab 10.1 and with this device it is possible to enter directly in the Rich Text field.

  I currently have a problem with the rich text fields.  I have a selected rich when custom text field (onFocus), it colors the blue text when not selected (onUnfocus), the text is white.

  I have Setup several of my RichTextFields in a VerticalFieldManager so they can be scrolled as a list.

  Now scrolling works on the following simulators:

  Bold 9000 4.6.0.266

  Curve 8520 4.6.1.272

  But no scrolling does work on this Simulator:

  Bold 9700 5.0.442

  What Miss me?  I know the o/s changed, but if it should not be backward compatible?

  I use Blackberry JDE component Package 4.2.1

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I found the problem.  The super I was calling was super (text, Field.FOCUSABLE), this caused the 9700 Simulator not to focus the richtextfields.

  The Builder suitable for call is super (Field.FOCUSABLE), and that fixed the issue.

  Now, I have another problem.  Suddenly, I added a few images, the background (they are all less than 300 KB) tested on simulators of 9000 and 8520, it worked.

  When I test it on the 9700, it says net.rim.device.api.system.Application not found

  Hint anyone?

  I have a client who I want to design a model for a series of financial reports that go to investors every quarter. Information for reports from a database. There are 50 reports to be created for each investor. Rather than having to copy and paste the information manually from the database directly into text fields in Photoshop or Indesign, it is possible to bind the text boxes to this database?

  I was going to use Photoshop to design the model that I'm not very good at InDesign. But if I have to then I'll use InDesign.

  Both programs were given to merge. InDesign would probably work best for what you want to do, but you might be able to get away with PS:

  If you want to access the data and style in a field richtext, you must use the command Fieldname.value.exData.saveXML ("pretty"). This will give you the xHTML data format. Then you can manipulate the data in the way that you want, and to get it back in the field, use the Fieldname.value.exData.loadXML ("xml to load", parm1, parm2). The parms are Boolean values that control whether to replace or add the XML to the existing xml. See the reference for script/help for a more detailed description.

  Note that it won't be easy if there is a lot of rich text in your field that the text will be spread between tags. You may need to use the rawValue (no formatting to find out where to put the CR then find in the HTML code and it add.)

• Labels are centered, but the text fields are not

  I can't seem to convince a RichTextField is centered on the screen.  This is a limitation of this particular area, or I am doing something stupid?  Copy the following code illustrates the problem:

  I tried FIELD_RIGHT but when HCENTER does not, nor does RIGHT.  I guess I can use a tag instead, but I was really hoping to use a centered text edit field.  Any ideas?  Thank you

  The default behavior of RichTextField should use the full width. Try adding the RichTextField.USE_TEXT_WIDTH style

• Magento text fields appear as white

  I've recently updated Firefox to version 11.

  When you work in Magento CMS, certain text fields are projected as empty, as if the data was lost.

  Once you take the lower right and make the bigger field, the text is displayed.

  11 Firefox introduces a problem with TinyMCE WYSIWYG/rich text editor. I wonder if this or a related issue affects Magento?

  You can try an another workaround: zoom a not upward and down a step and see if it causes the text to appear. (You can use Ctrl + Ctrl + - or Ctrl + mousewheel for this.)

  I have an APEX 5 screen, that has 4 fields of entry of text and under this one IR that has these 4 parameters in its SQL where clauses.

  Now if I create a button that submits page or redirects to this page my report can be updated with the values of user entered without problem, basic stuff.  If I create the settings section as a dialog box model once again that I can get the update report as this dialogue submits the page as well as the report can refresh according to closed dialog option.

  What I struggle to reach is to allow the user to enter values in the text fields click on a button called 'submit' and there all stages of implementing dynamic action without page reloading.  I want user to P1_A, P1_B, P1_C, P1_D press on "submit" input, dynamic action that links the values entered into the fields, then fire another dynamic action that updates the State when the button is clicked / modified values what works the best.

  I am struggling to get this to work and I even tried to copy these settings and do them as hidden for example bind input P1_A to P1_A_Hidden by a dynamic action and have the report where clause =: P1_A_HIDDEN, but have not managed to get this working.

  It's possible?  I know its easy to simply send the page and make it work, but I want the experience to be quite uniform for the user and act as you never leave the page.

  I saw on the packages of the app in the chart example.  The bubble chart has a list selector (salary) and the table updates dynamically, it seems so that the process can occur, but I need the user to enter text and not use selection lists.

  The button simply trigger a unique dynamic action of refreshment on the IR region. Session state for page elements must be processed automatically by specifying them in the property Page to submit Items of the IR region.

  The error message indicates that there is more than one item referring to the same column name.
