• Rich text fields

  I created a form with fields of rich text in LiveCycle. However, when my users with Acrobat, fill out the form, they get this error when you try to use the features of rich text as bold text:

  This area was created not as a rich text field. The error would occur if you're in Acrobat or Reader and it is indicating that you try to use a feature that you have not activated (bold added to a plain text field).

  Activate you the support of rich clickinng on the field text, then watching the object palette, then the field tab and you will see a list drop-down format of the field that will say either about Pailn or Rich text Affectez_ text him the RTF.

  I modified your sample for this field, so that you can see. Once you select the field you can also activate the RichText toolbar by pressing Ctrl-e.

• Pop the text field scrolling buttons on the stage

  Hello all;
  
  I am very new to Flash so please bare with me. If anyone can point me to some examples I would really appreciate it. I have 5 buttons on my stage (in fact they are just text that I made in buttons); I would like the user to be able to click on each of them, and it appears a text field scrolling where they can read and scroll the information in the text field and then they can go back and click Next and so on. On the left side of the stage is the buttons and on the side right would be the scrolling text field. Now I realize that I could accomplish this using frameworks separated for each button and just pointing to these images, but I feel that there is an easier way... There must be there is something I'm definitely missing...

• Issue the hidden rich text field

  Hey all,.

  I am facing another issue, and this time it's the hidden form field. I've got the coldfusion, rich on one page text editor and when submitted to preview in another. However, in order to insert the record later I hide values initial form of hidden fields. All values are fine except for the rich text editor, as it gets out in its entirety and is not hidden at all.

  I guess that this behavior is caused by the text form and one of its closing entire field hidden tags.

  Any thoughts on how to store the rich text in the hidden field?

• Problem with anti-aliasing on the text fields scrolls

  I am building an application using FlashBuilder and currently running on the latest version of Mac OS x, and test my application in the anti-discrimination Act.  I see the strangest problem; I have a large window, and I use scrollrect to view different parts of the window. When I set the scrollrect and it works very well, the window scrolls to the top just as you expect. But "BOLD" text on the screen becomes much more ugly after I scroll.  I tried to set CacheAsBitmap on the sprite containing that scrolls, but that has no effect. It affects the text that could be in the middle of the window and just move upward, slightly; all of the characters in the text has ruined the subpixel antialiasing.

  Is it a weakness known use ScrollRect? How can I work around this problem?  I tried to turn on cacheasbitmap for all my sprites, but nothing has changed. I tried to set the AntiAliasType my TextField in ADVANCED, but which has also had no effect.

  It is confusing to me, why the rendering is so bad after a scroll. Even when I go back to its original position (scroll down, then upward), the text is ugly. It's almost as if he shot it twice on the screen, but it's probably just a lower level of text rendering.

  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  I've identified the problem. It is caused by a bug in my code, which is the double drawing of text on the other fields. When you have a large font size which is antialised, when you draw a second copy on the top, the aliasing allie to ruin the sweetness of the police. It is the only clue you double drew an object! Very interesting question in vector graphics, can not say once easily when you drew something twice!

• Text field scrolling fixed height that develops when printing?

  Hi all

  I came across this before, but for the life of me I don't remember: ideas for what is required to set a text box so that the height is fixed and used scroll bars when it overflows the text box text, but on the printing of the document, and then expands so that all the text is visible and will be printed?

  If I remember, it may be a little snippet of JavaScript code that is required, working on a print event?

  All other items will be part of a fluid design so that nothing breaks, however it is important that seen on the screen, the text boxes have a fixed height. Only necessary to expand on print.

  Any suggestions would be much appreciated: I have been on it for hours!

• Rich programmatic text field copy

  I have an application page that the user enters in many areas. Many of the fields are the Rich Text Editor. Users want to duplicate the page and some of the areas including the text rich ones. No problem on the regular fields but I can't the rich text field that you want to copy. I tried the redirection Page and add the fields, but the rich text that gives a few words. I tried to redirect using javascript, but that has not copied the rich text. I also tried to create an element of application to keep the info from RT and pull it in, but it is empty. It seems that the issue of enforcement can not hold RT

  With the help of document.getElementById('RICHTEXT_ITEM').innerHTML Gets the field but may not enter the new page field.

  If someone has done this?

• Labels are centered, but the text fields are not

  I can't seem to convince a RichTextField is centered on the screen.  This is a limitation of this particular area, or I am doing something stupid?  Copy the following code illustrates the problem:

  I tried FIELD_RIGHT but when HCENTER does not, nor does RIGHT.  I guess I can use a tag instead, but I was really hoping to use a centered text edit field.  Any ideas?  Thank you

  The default behavior of RichTextField should use the full width. Try adding the RichTextField.USE_TEXT_WIDTH style

  In order to solve this problem, the javascript must be run alongside Server (instead of customer). I guess that Adobe Reader is not able to read the tags correctly on the client side.

  and look at this thread, the only real connection so far is it is very recent and it involves blank e-mail.

  Those who are in this thread say blank incoming emails doesn't work except if they Disable Adblock Plus from the icon of ADP.

  In fact, the rich text editor would be in a separate file, there is most likely a connection to ADP because some of these files may be blocked. I used to have a lot of problem in this forum on the web and the tools were blocked (didn't really need them) just because I block a lot of things here: like animals to fur in nurse uniforms, a trash can (toolkit) and that blue area at the bottom of this page that interferes with scrolling and the use of the key 'end '.

  1. The inner REGEEXP_REPLACE inserts a grave accent above all good tags (p, ol, ul,... become 'p,' ol', ' ul,...)
  2. The outdoor REGEXP_REPLACE eliminates any tag that does not begin with a grave accent, leaving only the good tags
  3. REPLACE removes serious accents, added in step 1.
  4. Implement a after submit Page calculation on the Page element using the Type of query SQL (single return value).

• Problem of text selection in the text field for entry in the emulator

  I'm having a problem of text selection in a text field when I run my application in the emulator Playbook. Let me see if I can expose the problem here:

  1. The field in question is a classic text, text with an integrated in police entry field. The domain is in a SWC and referenced in another FILE.
  2. The code is set up such that when a user clicks the field function is called to highlight all the text. The code is more or less as follows:

When the text is not selected as expected the cursor always appears in the field and the Playbook keyboard slides up by below. What is particularly problematic, that's what often happens, is that the whole scene moves upward on 10px when it is clicked on the ground. If I try to click on the same ground once again, another change to the top of 10px or so, etc..

  So why the text not properly selected and why the scene evolves upwards?

  I realize that more information may be required from me to correctly solve this problem, but if someone has all understand why this may be the case, I would be happy to learn from him.

  I can answer the question of displacement.  This is a bug in BB and supposed to be fixed in version «next» SDK

  The question of the selection, I'll guess has to do with the fileld with focus, selection is not possible.  Try to set the focus outside of maybe the text field?

• Text fields and number 0 problem

  I have the button group to 7 Coachman, named "group". Each box has its own value for export. (- 3, - 2, - 1, 0, 1, 2, 3). Then I have a text field, named "polje" where the selected value is displayed. If the user check the box with the value of exports 3... text field display number 3 and so on. I get this with this script:

  So far, everything works perfectly. Now... problem. I have an another textfield, named "procent. Its mission is to show the additional text of specific value.

  If the "polje" field indicating the value 1, 'this' textfield should display "30%", if the value is 2 then "60%"...and so forth.» Everything works fine... only with 0... .then textfield stay empty but it should display '0% '. I don't know why.
