Ripper audio CD works no-Equium A60

I use Windows XP sp2 on an Equium A60. Recently, my machine seems to have developed a problem with extraction of CD audio. I use the latest version of iTunes and I noticed that all the CD when it is loaded in the program are deformed and glitch horribly, making the task impossible.

In the past it happened sometimes, but now, it happens with all the CDs. Oddly enough playing just the cd without trying to copy is not a problem. I was wondering if it was iTunes rather than my machine, but the same problem occurred when I tried to copy a cd using Real Player.

Can someone tell me if this is likely to be a problem with my computer software or rather if there is a physical defect with the cd player?

I n t have experience with iTunes and I have always used CDex and ripped from audio CD successfully. If you write about each CD you also hear to an older, because much more recent are protected against copying.

In my view, that there is a software problem. Default physical the STRANGE are not able to read any data type.

  • Using the mic in as an Audio on the P4 Equium A60 - 156 532 line

    Hello

I was wondering if I can change the microphone on my Equium A60-156 P4 532 port to operate like an Audio Line In , as I want to use Avermedia AVerTV-U2 USB2 to convert my video tapes on DVD. However the Avermedia AVerTV - U2 USB2 requires an Audio Line In on the sound card. The suppliers of the Avermedia AVerTV - U2 USB2 recommended a reg file.

Anyone know if it will work or have alternative ideas on how I can convert my video tapes on DVD?

    Hello
The point is that the Microphone in your laptop sector works with a preamplifier.
He could only kill you this Port, if the input signal is powerful.
    Be careful!

  • "A" key does not work on Equium A60

    Hello

I bought my Equium A60 for more than a year.

I cleaned the keyboard about a month ago and now my key will not work properly!

I had jumped off the top plastic part off and blew out the dirt and the thing below rubber came out! It normally covers the sensor, it a little attached to it and presses down on it, so that's what makes the letter arrived on the screen! I put on top of the sensor and covered with plastic bits, but it won't work unless I press and press about 60 times! This is not very practical when you try to type fast!

Could someone help me please! I don't know what to do.

And A is that you use a lot, so I can't avoid it!
Its only the key has, so I don't really want to buy a whole new keyboard, although I would do it as a last resort a little to solve this problem. But even in this case, the rubber part does not come with keyboards? !! I would have thought that isn't that high woth plastic letters on? Will it get a technician, paste it on?

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi nicola,.

I can't give you precisely answer how to solve your problem.
It seems that you will need a full keyboard.
As far as I know it is possible to also buy only the key caps, but I do not think that a replacement of the key CAP will help you.
In my opinion, you should ask the Toshiba service partner in your country. Maybe the technician may be able to deal with this issue without replacement of keyboard.
If this isn't the case, then I guess you need a new keyboard. Don't be afraid, that's not very expensive.
But as I said at the beginning to seek advice before you buy and replace something.

  • I can't get my new scanner to work with Equium A60

I can't get my new scanner (canoscan lide 70) to work with my a60. Is it because the usb ports are all hubs?

    Hello

    > it because the USB ports are all hubs
Sorry, but this suggestion to me confused.

I m also owner of a scanner and it s a simplest thing to connect and install it!

I put t see any problems using the scanner.
All devices should be delivered with the own installation CD and I guess that your scanner also comes with additional supports.
This CD contains the description of the installation and the necessary drivers.

  • Sound does not work on Equium A60-155

I got a webcam yesterday, installed and it caused a lot of problems with my sound settings.
I am a musician and make a lot of recording with Cool Edit, and now it seems that any entry that I use to record with tab "Recording" of the Windows mixer each signal goes off in red, which means that all I get in return is the silence.

The webcam mic works fine, but if I connect a microphone to the mic jack I have no sound, although I can see the sound levels in the various audio wizards that something is pumping a massive signal.
Can anyone help or recommend anything?

    Hey Buddy,

You have probably installed vista or? I suggest you uninstall the drivers and webcam software everything and then just install the drivers for the webcam and not the software itself because some software manufacturers Don t care about programs on the users HARD drive, the software comes to settle and replaces all the settings of Vista/toshiba/etc...

That's the only idea I have for the moment, but maybe I can give you some other suggestion addition times just so try the thing to uninstall/reinstall...

    Welcome them

  • "ati2dvag.dll" has stopped working on Equium A60 - 173

I posted this problem before, but despite the advice I got to reinstall the drivers from the Toshiba site. Unfortunately the problem persists. What is happening is that the display shuts off for a few seconds then reappear with a very low resolution, and an error message saying the ati2vag has stopped working. It happens spontaneously, without apparent reason, but if I connect to any type of device memory USB that sometimes "invites" the crash.

The web search seems to indicate that I am not alone with this problem. Someone at - he found a final solution or explanation as to why this happens, and what I can do to stop it before as I entrust the Tosh in the trash.

Just another thought, should I delete old drivers ATI through Add/Remove programs before installing the new drivers?

What is happening on the screen if I delete before reinstalling? Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I'm not computer savvy.

    Thank you
    John

    Hello

Ati2dvag.dll file belongs to the whole of the graphics card!
I saw this message on different laptops with the ATI graphics card! Sometimes it seems after a long time the graphics driver malfunctions or does not work as it should!

Have you tried to use the graphics driver on the site omegadrivers.net?
Several people have reported an improvement!

    > should I remove old drivers ATI through Add/Remove programs before installing the new drivers
Usually it of not necessary to remove the old driver first! You can install the new driver on the old!
In this case he must go into Device Manager and use the update driver option

  • Audio CD not playing not not in mast * a 820 s UJ on Equium A60-155

    Hello

I'm having some trouble with audio CDs on my Equium A60-155 with the carpet * a UJ 820 dvd multi recorder. By audio CD, I hear cd albums purchased, not copies or CDs with mp3 files (I'm ripping my cd collection on a MP3 player through my laptop).

A brief description of the problem is:

Some cds do not play the disk at all - I can hear it clicking and buzzing and light orange on the eject disc, but it will not read the disk and the pc hangs until I have the disc. Some CD play, but with sound distortions (e.g. constant cracking and popping); and some CD and play ignite very well, without any problems at all.

Windows Media Player is what I use to play the CD. The CD I'm unable to play fine on a normal cd player and on other PCs (I tried a number of these CDs on several PCs in my office and have no problem at all), so I'm confident drives real themselves are not the issue.

I would also like to add that no audio CD (for example the software) and DVD playback absolutely perfect on my laptop with no problems whatsoever.

I tried most of the advice in other posts here with similar issues:
I have reinstalled/updated all the drivers, firmware and bios.
I removed the dvd drive of the Device Manager and rebooted to force Windows to reinstall.
I tried to clean the lens with a cd lens cleaning cd.
I tried to play the CD via iTunes and RealPlayer instead of WMP, but have the same problems.

I would appreciate any advice that anyone could offer. In reading the other posts it seems similar to the problem of lens calibration other posters have known, but I would have thought that he would not play any CD at all if that was the case.

Please let me know if you need more information. I use Windows XP SP2.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ed

    Check this box:
Go to the properties of the drive and select the Hardware tab. Then choose new drive and select Properties. Then check in the Properties tab, if the Enable CD digital option for CD-rom audio is marked
    Maybe it helps.

I have although this could have something to do with audio copy that has been applied on some audio CD s protection.
I read on the internet that many different readers might have some problems with these copy protections.

Maybe I m wrong, or even it s calibration lens problem
These problems might arise if the lens can not calibrate correctly. I mean that the reader may be able to play media and others not.

  • Equium A60 can recognize no audio CD

Well do that no problem reading DVD or CD my laptop Equium A60 does not recognize audio CDs. In fact if I look in the folder on the D drive is not even recognizing anything like being there.

Recently I had problems loading CD in iTunes etc: the glitch of tracks and pop as they load making it unusable for this but it is only very recently that the machine is unable to even see the drive.

If the two things are connected and if so does anyone have all possible solutions?

    Thank you.

    Hello

You use original, CD copy protected? Have you tried with different CD of music, especially the more without protection against copying? As you know many new music CD is not playable in usual optical drives of PCs and laptops.

  • Drive CD/DVD of Equium A60 does not work correctly

    Hello
I just bought a used Equium A60. The seller reformatted the laptop using the player. However, the player will not play any disc now (I tried the CD, DVD and Toshiba load discs. The Device Manager shows the drive works, but the program tells me to insert a disk. Using advice gleaned on this forum I tried to clean the lens, System Restore, start with the key C pressed, tried F12, downloaded a driver for DVDram drive and finally remove the disk and submit.
The seller said he always worked well for him and the laptop arrived in perfect condition. All you other ideas?

Go to Device Manager and remove the CD/DVD drive.
Then restart the laptop and wait until the OS has recognized and installed the disc again.
    Reboot the laptop!
    Access to the registry editor and select this key;
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Here, you need to remove the UpperFilter and UpperFilter
    Then reboot again.

    I hope it helps

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

In my opinion, it is not wonder if something stops working after so long. This path is not easy to say anything because we don t know what did you do with the device (your personal configuration) or applications that you have installed. As far as I know done recording part of the recovery image and only if you install OS again everything should work again.

Otherwise definitely delete Sonic and test the drive with the other burning software.
