I installed the birth of the United Nations, the original game on my computer to windows 7 Home premium and will not play the game in full screen. She always cut the sides of the black vertical column set. I tried everything: image format, right-click and do different stuff with the properties, nothing seems to work. It may be a problem with the compatibility? If so, what can I do about it?

Windows cannot load of Rise of Nations and when I restart it blocks my machine
I have a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 above. I have an older game, Rise of Nations, I love to play. I went to load it on my machine and it loads fine, but it does not open. When I restart the machine, I get a locked machine. I had to reboot in safe mode and restore to an earlier date. Has anyone found a workaroundfor this? I hate to say goodbye to this game.
have you tried compatibility mode.

Install issues with Rise of Nations
I have a version of Rise of Nations: Gold Edition - I can't install on new Vista PC. Tried to install from the disc - click on run as administrator, run auto - you name it, begins to run for a few seconds that everything stops. Even when I move all the files to the PC - can't the .exe to go.
Computer doesn't lock upwards, all the other apps will work perfectly. Is it a question of settings or a security problem? No engine installation seems to come.
Thanks in advance

Original title: Microsoft 5 button mouse
My ascent of the United Nations set load beautifully, but when the selection menu screen is displayed, the pointer of the game does not recognize my mouse. Help?
I had the same problem. I came across an article that pointed out to me a file called rise2.ini under my profile user - C:\Users\
Nations \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Games\Rise There are several entries of "cursor" in there together. I changed the value of ForceGDICursor from 0 to 1. After that my cursor in the game set match my mouse movements.
Good luck!
