I installed the birth of the United Nations, the original game on my computer to windows 7 Home premium and will not play the game in full screen. She always cut the sides of the black vertical column set. I tried everything: image format, right-click and do different stuff with the properties, nothing seems to work. It may be a problem with the compatibility? If so, what can I do about it?

Windows cannot load of Rise of Nations and when I restart it blocks my machine
I have a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 above. I have an older game, Rise of Nations, I love to play. I went to load it on my machine and it loads fine, but it does not open. When I restart the machine, I get a locked machine. I had to reboot in safe mode and restore to an earlier date. Has anyone found a workaroundfor this? I hate to say goodbye to this game.

rise of nations: rise of legends
I can't get my mouse works in the birth of nations: rise of legends
You can try using the "program compatibility" mode and see if that fixes the problem. For more information on this subject, you can consult the following link:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows/what-is-program-compatibility#1TC=Windows-7If the problem persists, you can try to update the drivers of your computer display. To do this, you must visit your computer manufacturer's website and download the respective drivers. If you are not able to locate the drivers, it is recommended to contact the service of technical support from the manufacturer of your computer for more assistance on the same.
In addition, you can also try to decrease your screen resolution and see if that solves the problem. You can do this by visiting the link below:

Error during installation of Rise of Nations
A few years ago I bought Rise of Nations Gold Edition and it worked perfectly. However, I tried to reinstall the installation stops at 89%, when installing Sacrificetothesun.wav without any error message or of the opinion, as if the disk has been damaged, but I see no scratches on it and I kept it in its box all the time. Is there something I can do?
Hello
Thanks to join Microsoft Community where you will find all the required information on the Windows operating systems.
You can't install Rise of Nations Gold Edition.
To work with the issue, I suggest you follow the steps:
Method 1: Turn off the antivirus program
Disable any anti-virus software you have, and you then attempt to install.
Visit the site:
Disable the anti-virus software
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2: Clean boot
Try to install in clean boot state.
When the computer starts to boot, programs non-Microsoft will not be started and would avoid any interruption of their share.
See the mentioned site:
How to perform a clean boot for a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: once you are done with the boot, follow step 3 of section to set your computer to normal startup.
Note: If in case, you are connected via a connection wireless, and then when you start the System Configuration utility to perform the clean boot, click Startup and Services tab one time and check wireless see corresponding section are checked (enabled).
Feel free to contact us for any question related to Windows .

Original title: rise of nations
on the rise of nations, I get this error code. How to fix it. DISK ERROR WRITING C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\RISE OF NATIONS\ART\OPENING. WMV. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DISK IS NOT FULL AND THAT THE FILE IS NOT IN USE.
Hello
1. do you get this error during installation, downloading or playing the game?2. What is the amount of free space on the hard drive?
Method 1: clean boot the computer and check if the problem occurs.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: Follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.Method 2: uninstall and then reinstall the game and see if the problem still occurs.
Hope this information helps
