  Hi Alicia,.
  you could see the file from archive where you installed your Essbase server. If you specify a full path, you can view the file from archive to this destination. Oh... Oracle recommends that you use .arc extension with the file name. Don't forget to say.

  This is not an error but an informational message.  The error comes from RMAN or one of your scripts?

  Are there other RMAN - or ORA-errors in your log file?

  Check your backup optimization, which can be turned on in which case it will not backup the archivelog again.

  You can use one of the two commands to remove the archivelogs that have been backed up.

  backup archivelog all not backed up delete input;
  delete archivelog all backed up 1 times to device type sbt;

  Sorry about that. Its 11g 2 R (11.2.0.1) and OS Version is 2008 R2 64 bit. Sleep is in auto recovery mode. (hope this helps).

  We have started to learn and explore the transparent encryption of the data (encryption tablespace on windows servers).  All data types appear to be encrypted in the data (watched by block dump) files, but only a few data types seem to be encrypted in the archive logs.  Is this the correct behavior?  Is there a way to well to encrypt the archive logs too?

  Discovered the problem.  We have omitted to include in our statement create tablespace. Now, the archive logs are also encrypted.

  I have this request which I am not able to solve. There is a location of the log archiving mentioned as /oraarch/app/oracle/oradata/snlprod/archive_logs/in the parameter log_archive_dest_1.   The SNA method before roll is easiest to get your sleep in harmony rather than completely rebuild.

  The RCS on primary continues to rise and if the archives get generated on primary at a regular stage, would be late the night before by a huge margin.

  If there is a gap of newspaper caused lack of archives and his backup is not available, then I'd rather go with the Roll Forward YVERT method.

  Select name from v$ archived_log;

  It is cleared if RMAN deletes the archvie after saving

  The cRIO-9075 doesn't have the ability to mount a Windows network share and the read/write directly with the host computer.  You'd have to do, this is the file from the FTP host (the host has to a customer, and the RT system has a server) or to run an FTP server on the host that the target can interact with (the host would then have a server, and the target's screws of the FTP client) to get the file to the location.
