  Dear Adobe Creative cloud community,

  There have been several threads back years ask for Adobe Creative Suites Linux support.

  
  This being the year 2016, I suggest that it is time to seriously consider to support Linux and provide the community with a roadmap for this support.

  Could us focus the discussions happening in society on this subject? Are there plans? What are some basic terms that you intend for it to be implemented?

  From the point of view of the outside, there would be two major milestones to hit with this one:

  Step 1: CC Adobe wine rack

  Step 2: Adobe CC Native of Linux application

  Please review the potential market and stay on top of the three major free software: Linux, Mac and Windows.

  If Adobe has not responded to a message in 2012 creative for Linux (Ubuntu) cloud by announcing plans to support Linux, I seriously doubt that as a new request will get Adobe to change course

• Roadmap for the 3D in MacOSX clients support

  Hello!

  I use a MacOSX comments daily and wait (for years now) for support of the 3D in MacOSX clients.

  Do not play games, but just to be able to see something else that junk in space/MissionControl.

  Anyone know if the 3D support is on the roadmap for MacOSX invited because it is extremely annoying!

  VMware has a strong policy not to comment on possible features may come in the future, so even if there are employees of VMware read your question here, they are not allowed to answer.

  There is really not that you can do here like to sit and wait, the road map is not public.

  Hi Michael,

  Here you can check what VMware products are supported on what databases: VMware product interoperability Matrices

  MS SQL 2014 is not yet.

  Perhaps the next major release of vSphere will support it. Maybe we'll here on this subject at VMworld?

  So far I would say your client to not migrate databases of vSphere.

  need help to solve a problem with the dynamic selection of images for reports OBIEE 11 g.
  For OBIEE 10 g, it works perfectly - put images in
  
  *'\ < HOME_ORACLE_BI > \web\app\res\s_oracle10\images'*
  
  Directory and enter edit the column formula (in the answers) of the expression:
  
  * ' < table_name > '. "" < table_column > | ". jpg'*.
  
  and selecting
  
  URL of the image (in the properties of column-> Data Format)
  
  retrieve the images appropriate for the corresponding model (the project is for fashion retail customer) regarding the description of the specified column (for example * "DM_ITEM".) «MODEL_CODE ' ('09361' = *) put correspondence the name of the image file (* '09361.jpg' *).»
  
  For the OBIEE 11g (installed on W7, DWH on MSSQL 2008R2, VM in the field), I followed the link * "http://vikramwalia.wordpress.com/category/obiee-11g/" * and stuck at the step where the browser should recover image (s) based on the following address:
  
  *' http://localhost:9704/analyticsRes/product / *.
  
  Dive into the issue, I checked the staticports.ini and in the * [WEBLOGIC] * section find the following message is displayed:
  
  *#The port of 'content' for the most part POET. This is the Weblogic managed server port on which BIEE applications are deploie.*
  Oracle WLS BIEE managed Server Port No. = 9704
  
  that seems to be OK...
  
  The netstat command response confuses me much since I found (and also of external) record for TCP Local address (should be < IP localhost >: 9704), which lead me to the point that, probably one of the OBIEE 11 g services not started OR I made a mistake during installation of OBIEE 11 g, although the system did not send a message about this possibility. BTW, the BI Publisher on this machine works correctly.
  
  So, kindly ask support or advice on this subject. Thank you

  Not able to open the IAM blog you referred to above.

  Make sure that you have deployed the analyticsRes component as shown in http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/bi/bi1113/customizing_obiee11g/customizing_obiee11g.htm. Create a folder called produced under analyticsres and start accessing images.

  I was wondering what could be the roadmap for VCP?  Registration is underway for the online courses at VMware mandatory for his exams VCP appearances?

  Can I go through the material myself and appear for exams directly?

  IAM going to install OBIEE 11.1.1.9 on Solaris SPARC 64-bit machine. But when I checked for UCR 11.1.1.9, it is available for Windows 64-bit, Linux 32 and 64-bit Linux platforms. How should I proceed?

  Please suggest a solution/work around for this as soon as possible.

  I'm using OBIEE 11 g.

  I need set the page default dashboard for the user and the wise group.

  EX:

  User1 is belongs to Group1 and Role1 - they need to see the default homepage as Dashboard1.

  User2 is belongs to the Group 2 and Role2 - they need to see the default homepage as Dashboard2.

  Kindly guide me to achieve.

• Where can I get information on the roadmap for Photoshop mixture

  now Photoshop mix is good enough to make cutouts but it lacks features like refine edge in Photoshop Touch. Smart selection is excellent and it is very fast to cut complex figures in this application.

  But, in its current form is not that big to make finished composites, it lacks tools for things like the color correction so that the different layers match up well. What I asked is what is the road map, this features you plan to add?

  Also as with Photoshop Touch that you have now discontinued, but I paid a lot for the version of your applications phone tends to be a light version of the tablet version, why is this always the case? It's not just that the phone could not manage the features you remove I am sure that my Galaxy S6 is a fairly meaty phone.

  I guess I am wondering if this app is never more than a good pair of smart scissors, in need of other programs to complete a composite good or if it will in time become a picture more complete solution mixture.

  Thanks for writing. Glad you like the capabilities of selection in the Mix. Hear us your comments on improving the additional capacity. Cant specifically tell you when, but we intend to continue to improve on this front and Yes correcting color and reconciliation are on our roadmap.

  For both of our new applications - mix and difficulty - provide us with exactly the same features on iPhone and iPad, and it is not no pairing down of the features we had on Ps touch. We had a few clouds on the Mix of features that were only available on the iPad edition. With 2.0 we corrected that and made available on the iPhone as well.

  Our goal is to push the Mix to become an even more complete composition on mobile devices. We have made key improvements in our recent 2.0 update, but there is much more to come next year with updates already provided all the few months.

  I'm working on Essbase, I had the chance to work on OBIEE.

  Installed and configured successfully.

  Database: 11g R2

  UCR: 11.1.1.7

  OBIEE: 11.1.1.7

  I created a model with a single Essbase application and uploaded to the repository in Oracle Enterprise Manager and began to create some analysis.

  Now, I created a different model with another Essbase application and uploaded to the repository in OEM, now in OBIEE I can not access the earlier.

  I got to know why we have to use the repository share, but I am unable to set the location for it

  I tried with several options but its not allowing to update the location of the repository of the action, get the error "'did not apply the information in the repository" "

  An acceptable syntax is: "/ net/machine/disk3/sharedrpddata ', I tried with below those

  • \ORACLE_INSTANCE\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obisn\repository
  • $ORACLE_INSTANCE\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obis1\repository
  • \\MachineName\C$\OBIEE11g\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obis1\repository

  I try to install OBIEE 11.1.1.6 on windows XP and I want to know do we need to install Java for the installation of OBIEE jdk6 or not? I'm unable to open the file rcu.bat for the installation of the UCR. If necessary can someone let me know which version should I download and install.

  To open a file, you must click with the right button on the rcu.bat and click on change, or to open Notepad and drag the file to Notepad.

  I'm assuming you are trying to run this file ;)
