I have a problem. I would like to perform a recovery on my m200 Tablet System.

I have a dvd external drive (as the m200 has not built into the player) and the correct recovery disk.
However, because of a problem that occurred some time ago, there is a problem with the driver (+ Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device.

The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) +), and so I can't start the recovery.

If someone knows a way I can fix the driver, or another way to perform a system restore, it would be extremely useful!
A solution to the problems of one or two would be great.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

    > The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) +), and so I can't start the recovery.
Are you sure about that? This code appears in running the operating system but recovery doesn't run under the operating system currently running.
Please try to start the recovery procedure and let me know exactly what is happening.

  • Re: Cd/DVD drive problem - code error 39 on Satellite P series

    Hello

It is my first request for assistance.
My CD/DVD drive is most recognized, and when I go to Device Manager and click on CD/DVD I'm informed that the cdrom.sys file is there but cannot be loaded.

An error number 39 is reported.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, but please keep things simple to the actions of a single line if possible.

Of course, you can get a few tips ;)
I think you might find faster if you are looking for first in the forum, but I'll try to help you too.

He error code 39 is very common issue and can be resolved easily.
See this MS knowledge base article:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314060/en-us

So first of all remove the CD/DVD drive device manager.
Then access the registry using the regedit command and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Reboot the laptop and wait until the CD/DVD drive has been installed again.

    That s it. ;)

    Hello!

Try to delete upper filters and lower, as in this Knowledge Base article Microsoft has offered:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314060

    (1) run Regedit (start > run > Regedit)
    2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Hi all, new here. After the recent activity of the serious virus on my laptop (X 200) I had to reinstall vista. Therefore, downloading 150000 updates, which took almost a week lol. Somewhere along the line here my drive CD/DVD stopped working. When I checked in the Device Manager the following is what was printed up on top of the Windows form:

    * Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19). *
    * Click on 'Search for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available

Of course, no solution found. If anyone has had this problem, if yes what you end up doing to fix it. I tried to update the driver but it says that it is up-to-date. I flashed the BIOS with v2.5 (later of Tosh. I uninstalled the driver in hopes that when I rebooted it would find the material and fix the prob. No luck. If someone has a preview of this it would be greatly appreciated.

  • XP cannot find CD and DVD drives - 41 code

I just reinstalled XP Pro on my PC.  In 'My Computer' my CD drive or my DVD player - RW appear.  In Device Manager, two discs show, with yellow exclamation point. In the properties of each drive, it says XP installed the driver, but cannot locate the device (Code 41).

My BIOS sees the two discs properly and both are working, with a bootable CD after reboot.

The DVD drive is a SATA drive and the CD-ROM drive is an IDE drive.

  • CD/DVD burner, error Code 19 in Windows 8

Hi so I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and low and here's my DVD rom has stopped working. I got a Microsoft representative trying to solve the problem for an hour and a half for him to tell me that Dell needs to upgrade their driver and basically I'm ADMIN NOTE: profanity removed according to the TOU >. Does anyone else have other ideas on how to get it to work? (PS - "Fixit" of Microsoft program does not work and the latest drivers I found for the device came from 2011 and not functional)

    -Dave

Have you tried to delete upper and lower filters in the registry manually? It's the next thing I would do. I know that Fix - it does not work for Windows 8, but the manual register RichEdit might.

    Or try this.

Of course, you can Google 'DVD Player code 19 error Windows 8' and try the different suggestions. But as I said, Dell has no device driver for any optical drive. They come from Microsoft. It has no pilots last updated to try. And anyone who works with computers must know this.

  • DVD burner error Code 19 problem solved of United Nations

    Hello

    1. I have problems with my CD player. I had a burner CD/DVD from Hitachi-LG (GSA-H60L model). One day he appeared is no longer in windows under the section disks. When I went into the device under CD players Manager he noticed my camera, but it was a triangle of attention to it. I couldn't update the drivers for it because windows said I got already later than he. He gave me the error 19 code. I decided to buy a new CD/DVD of ASUS burner (model DRW-24B1ST) and it's the same and it would not be recognized by windows. I am runing Windows 7 Home Premium 32 - bit OEM. I then tested two DVD burners on another windows 7 Home premium 32-bit computer, and they were instantly recognized. They are both experienced working in another computer, but I can't make it work on mine. I have a processor intel core i5 CPU 750 on an ASUS H55-P7-M Pro motherboard with a patriot pyro SSD for my boot drive. What is my problem with windows, because they work eveywhere else. They are two SATA devices, and I changed the port cable and motherboard several times and made sure they are connected properly.

Try following the steps under "Windows 7 or Windows Vista" in the MS KB article:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982116

These measures, to remove the UpperFilters and LowerFilters, values if they exist, in the registry key named can help.

Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer later.

  • Change DVD drive region code

I have a laptop with Windows 8 on it and I had problems with a "region code" because we got it. Second hand, it was when we got, but it works and the Guy didn't have anything set up. How would I go about editing a "region code"?

    Hi Jared,

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

    a. click on this computer and then click Properties.
    b. click Advanced System Properties.

    c. in the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.
    d. in the list of devices, double-click on CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, click on the DVD drive for which you want to change the region setting and then click Properties.
    e. on the tab area of the DVD, make the desired changes.

Hope this information helps. Answer the post with an up-to-date issue report to help you further.

  • Dvd/Cd ROM code 39 drivers. Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device

Have Windows 7. HP Pavilion p6714y. The drivers are updated but cannot load the unit.

    Hello

First, try the automated Microsoft fixit at the link below.

    Windows 7

Then, in the Start Menu, open Control Panel and click Device Manager.  Click to open the CD/DVD-ROM drives.  Right-click on the drive and choose uninstall.  Do not delete if requested drivers.  When the device has been uninstalled click the icon 'Search for hardware changes' (usually just below help in the toolbar).  Let windows reinstall the disc and see if it works now.
