Robot with arm joint

Hi people.

I'm looking for a with several degrees of freedom robotic arm to hold and tilt an object (s).  Objects would vary between about1' x 1 "x 0.1" rectangular objects to maybe length 6 "x 2" diameter cylindrical objects.   Weight of objects can be a maximum of 20 lbs.

Robotic arm must be able to withstand up to 225 kV x-rays.

I would like to be able to control such arms with LabVIEW movement solution any.

I know that it is a difficult question but looking to see if maybe someone has an experience that can help.

Sincerely,

Don

Hi Don,

You can take a look at ImagingLab Robotics library for LabVIEW - http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/ru/nid/211183
These libraries allows you to use LabVIEW for control of almost all industrial robotic arms produced by Denso, Epson, Kuka, Kawasaki, Mitsubishi, Toshiba and Yaskawa Motoman.

You can choose any robotic arm 7 robot manufacturers according to your budget and your needs (in your case, the arm must be able to work in dangerous places). I recommend you contact the local representative of the selected manufacturer or visit their Web sites.

Sincerely,

Nik.

  • Issue of blue robot with Safari

    Hi guys,.

Since about two weeks my browser safari on my Macbook feels really weird. The left part of my browser is not at all, making it very inconvenient to work with.

I saw that this question a very specific image (see below) jumped on my browser on virtually all Web sites. Apparently, it's the image of Google 404 Error.

I tried to change my search engine preferred over another (Bing), but also, it does not like the picture, and question remained. So now my question is, someone know how to solve this problem?

Any help will be much appreciated

    Cheers, Niek

Force Quit Safari (command + option + ESC keys). Then restart the SHIFT key now.

If this does not work, download and runMalwareBytes. Malwarebytes was developed by one of our colleagues here to ASC. He received rave reviews and is on the more proven anti-malware for Mac software.

  • I wonder if I can simultaneously have the XL cartridges in my printer with regular joints

    4 < none >

Yes, you can have the XL cartridges and regular cartridges installed in the printer at the same time.  That won't be a problem with the printer. The only difference will be the page of higher returns for XL cartridges than ordinary cartridges. Here is a link that will show you the differences in performance if you are curious about how the cartridges will perform.

  • Update statement with multiple joints

    Hello

I use Oracle 12 c and here my Question:

    /*

ledgerstb is an Oracle the ITO (TransNo column is the primary key)

vledgerstb_gtt is a global temporary Table

vledgervc_gtt is a global temporary Table

    UPDATE

(, SELECT ledgerstb. TransNoVC AS TransNoVC_Old,

    vledgervc_gtt.transnovc AS TransNoVC_New

    OF ledgerstb

INNER JOIN vledgerstb_gtt ON ledgerstb. TransNo = vledgerstb_gtt.transnostb

INNER JOIN vledgervc_gtt ON ledgerstb. STBNo = vledgervc_gtt. STBNo

    ) T

    SET T.TransNoVC_OLD = T.TransNoVC_NEW;

This update statement gives the following error message:

    * Action: Change the directly underlying base tables.

    For your reference, the following result internal instruction select (in blue color police) give;

    TransNo: STBNo 4: VAAAABM316410986

Please suggest if I'm doing something wrong or it is not possible to update the table like that.

(I know that I can use ForAll Update statement, but I do not want to use Collections here.)

Thank you carine, finally I found my answer,

the update query requires that each record that will be updated should be updated only once. so if I do join 1<->1 it updates successfully.

Thanks to all who contributed, or at least tried. Thanks again.

  • Merge with Hub Microsoft contacts Skype contacts!

For the love of God, why Microsoft bought Skype if you are not able to work together to provide a common working contacts list?

I use Skype on Windows (main PC), modern Windows (Tablet) and Windows Phone (Lumia) with a joint account of Microsoft. I take advantage of the integration of the people Hub.

The hub is able to rightly see contacts Skype (filter list option).

But Skype on all my devices only show a part of my contacts in the hub of the people. In fact, I see it seems an old version of my hub of people on Windows Phone list and none of them under Windows / Windows modern, even if I choose 'all' in all cases.

So please, team of Skype, could you difficulty once the contacts list and why not merge all together with hub Microsoft People?

What Skype is not supposed to be more integrated with Microsoft services? Then even better, offer your customers an option to get rid of your contact management and instead, use one Microsoft!

Thanks for the answer, but in the meantime (and windows mobile 10 is not for tomorrow!), Skype is almost useless. I change a phone number in the hub of the people and expect to see change in Skype so that I can use Skype to call.

But no, the Skype app still shows the old number.

It used to be better, so I guess that a bug serious behind!

    Or how I've done wrong?

EDIT: got it: need to refresh my hotmail Inbox in WP to force a synchronization of the hub of the people.

To close Skype completely, wait a few seconds and then connect again.

Now see the number published in Skype. Should be much smoother.

I now have to change the settings of my account from microsoft on Windows Phone "based on my use' to 'as items happens', it might be useful...

  • Download program labview on several robots

    Hello

I'm new to LabVIEW and robotics kit. My question is how to download a simple example (avoidance of obstacles) on several robots at the same time. I am able to download separately one by one and it is caught in time. Is there a way in such a way that all the robots with ethernet cables are connected to the switch and controlled at the same time and each of them while giving the ip address or the name of the program?

    Thank you

    Goutham

Great news.  In fact, we have a range of Configuration software in real-time in LabVIEW which can copy the image to a target and then apply this image to other targets.

You can find the palette able IO > System Configuration

What you have to do is copy the image, and then you can download the image to your robots.

This option, or one of the other two should do the job.

Finally, remember that if two starter kit robots are pointing towards each other, the sonar sensors will interfere with each other.  If you use the stock starter kit, you can run difficulties running several robots using both the sonar sensor if they will compete.

  • Graphical waveform reference conflict with table 2D?

    Hello world

I have a problem (I hope so easy?) with the joint 2.vi Untiltted... I need to wire a reference (with the chart "MVC and Stim") to the Sub - VI X axis Curs table under so I get the x-axis positions the cursor over the chart MVC and Stim... When this chart is a 1 d array, it works fine (graph at the bottom should graphic data between the sliders)... But I change the MVC and graphic stem in a 2D array that draws multiple waveforms graph Ref do not connect to the Subvi?

Any suggestions? I'm on a tight schedule, and it's killing me slowly...

    Kind regards

    Jack

    Hello

I do not have chekced your screws I did not LabVIEW on my pc at the moment. I hope that the code is LV 2010 or below. If this isn't the case, please send the code in a version compatible with LV 2010.

    However, a few questions:

What is your Ref entry selected to include the data type? You create the reference control once again inside your sub vi when you changed from 1 d in table 2D graphics?

If Yes, suggest to the two qus, try removing the data type "include". This can cause problems in the future. Otherwise, you must re-create your sub vi entry ref control again.

one way is, just transfer the reference on the front of the vi that has graphics for the sub vi, use application of the nodes to get the name of the control and the reference in the Panel, check your "MVC" and "Stim" among the control names, get the control reference. This will save you the dotted arrows.

  • JOINT-2 licenses

I inherited a few JOINT-2 modules for our 6500 switches. These have been hanging around for a while and I just need some clarification on how the modules are allowed.

When you buy these modules they come with a basic license already as the Firewall Services Module. Or are you save with their serial number until you can use them?

I ask because we are trying to deploy them and told me that they cannot be activated without a license key.

    Pointers would be much appreciated

    Jon

You can set up the JOINT-2 and start using it without a license. the only thing you won't get updated signature without registration.

As you say GET register with Cisco JOINT using the serial number and start downloading the update of the signature.

  • Mode Inline JOINT-2

    Hello

I work with the JOINT-2, we have Cisco 6509 with CSM and FWSM, we plan JOINT-2 in Inline mode and now I want to track the traffic that arrives through Interface from outside the context of FW (which is nothing but a VLAN A, B VLAN, Vlan C. on MSFC)

Data flow: JOINT - ISP RTR - internal RTR - FWSM - MSFC CSM.

    JOINT version is 5.1 (4) S257.0,.

It will support only two VLANS (IN and OUT) on the access mode.

My problem is that I don't know how to analyze the traffic of 3 numbers of VLANS (A, B, C).

    Cisco 6509 - Version 12.2 (18) SXF7,.

You can use the mode to pair for the VLAN inline to monitor traffic entering on VLAN specific. For example

You have VLAN 100 200 and 300 on MSFC that you want to watch inline.

You must configure the VLAN 101 201 and 301 (L2 only) and send the VLAN 100-101 200-201 300-301 to JOINT-2.

You then create pairs VLAN on JOINT-2 module as below

    1 pair of VLAN 100-101-1

    2 pair of VLAN 200-201-2

    3 - VLAN 300-301 - pair 3

Then set over three pairs of virtual sensor and will monitor this traffic for online operation.

Inline VLAN pair mode is based on VLANs, so it doesn't really matter if them VLANS are behind or front of the FWSM.

    See you soon,.

    Vinod

  • JOINT-2 update in progress...

    Hi all

I'm new to this community and in Cisco security. Here's my question for you:

    I have a Cisco 7600 router with a JOINT-2 module and I update it to version IPS - K9 - 5.1 - 8 - E3. Now, I would like to upgrade with the IPS 7.0 version (3) E4.

Is this possible? I read that IPS 6.0 denies default high risk event and create an event of action to solve the problem. How can I solve my problem? I'm afraid to do something wrong because the router is an important, if I do something wrong I'm afraid to block all traffic: s

    Thank you

    G.

    G;

    You can certainly upgrade your JOINT-2 8,0000 E3 to E4 4,0000 directly.

Regarding your concern about the JOINT-2 refusing events at high risk (risk rating of 90 to 100) by default, this is the case if the JOINT-2 is configured to inspect the traffic using the line operation.  If the JOINT-2 is configured for the inspection of the promicuous, this will not happen.

If your JOINT-2 is configured for online operation, the simplest method to avoid the JOINT-2 denying high risk events, is to turn off th default event action override (EAO).  Starting in IPS (IDM) Device Manager:

    Configuration > policies

Highlight the virtual sensor in question (degfault is vs0) and choose Edit.

Under the event rule Action uncheck "use event Action overrides.

This will disable all replacements actin of event for the virtual sensor in question.  You can also disable just the high-risk EAO, following the same procedure as above, but instead of uncheck 'use event Action overrides' by default:

Highlight the EAO 'HIGH risk' and click 'change '.

Next to the "right Packet Inline (online)", uncheck the box under the column "Enable" (not the "Assigned" column).

  • The process of JOINT-2 upgrade issues.

    Hello

I started a new job and have been responsible for research in what we can do with the JOINT-2 module that we have in our 6509. The company has not used the module so it has not been updated in a few years. I don't have a current license, so I know not I can't install new updates of signature, but what I want to do is to upgrade the software to release 7.0 (5 a) E4. Once I've upgraded, I want to set it up in our environment and then see to obtain a license from signature.

I have a few questions about the upgrade process and could use some assistance.

    First METHOD is running version 3,0000 S256.0. What I've read I don't think I can go directly to 7,0 E4 (5A), so my planned upgrade path is: 5.1 (3) S256.0-> 8,0000 E3-> 7.0 E4 (5A).

I am able to update in this way, or is there another recommended method, I have to do this upgrade?

Files I have for this are lower, will they be enough or have I missed one?

I apply in the listed order?

Can I apply all of these files from the IDM interface?

    IPS - K9 - 5.1 - 8 - E3.pkg

    IPS-engine-E3-req-5.1-8.pkg<--- is="" this="" included="" in="" the="" above="">

    IPS-K9-r-1.1-a-5.1-8-E3.pkg

    IPS-K9-7, 0-5 a - E4.pkg

    IPS-K9-r-1.1-a-7.0-5A-E4.pkg

I intend to save first my setup just in case, but it should have no effect on the configuration?

I have also seen that the upgrade will convert the configuration, so should I save a second time between 8,0000 E3 and 7.0 (5 a) E4 step?

Will there be effects on traffic network or downtime during this process?

Is there something else I need to know or miss me?

    Thanks in advance,

    Will be

Hi Will. As you have indicated that this sensor has not been in use, it would be faster/more easier to simply recreate the image directly on the desired version (7.0(5a) E4). Additional benefits to achieve are the file system of the probe will be created clean, BONE / binary properly installed, without the potential problems of conversion of config, etc..

Instructions step by step to achieve this can be found here.

And the system recovery Image file, you will need ("IPS-IDSM2-K9-sys-1.1-a-7.0-5a-E4.bin.gz") can be downloaded here.

Will there be any effect on network traffic or downtime during this process?

It depends on if the sensor is configured in Promiscuous Mode or Inline [VLAN pair]. You can determine this from the catalyst config. If the sensor is installed in Inline Mode [VLAN pair], certainly recreate it the image (and even simply upgrade) could be traffic-one impact (if there is no backup/alternative for traffic to take path), as in both scenarios, the sensor is rebooted and unavailable for 10 minutes (during this time, he wouldn't be transfer traffic (if it was installed in line)). In addition, given that the redefinition of the results in a clean configuration / by default, if the sensor was configured online, this part of the configuration should be reintroduce post-reimage the sensor know to forward traffic accordingly again. Details on the modes can be found here.

  • JOINT configuration in promiscuous mode?

    Hello

I have two switch catalyst 6500 in VSS each with a JOINT module, I want to monitor four VLANS three of them is VLAN users and one of the servers, I'm planning use VACL to capture traffic.

My first question is how to configure the data ports of JOINT in promiscuous mode, if in the configuration guide say that by default data ports are "Promiscuous" mode, which means that I can't do any configuration in the ports of JOINT data?

Second, if I have two switches 6500 in vss each with a JOINT module, I need to examine other configurations of this situation?

    The VACL I'll put is:

    ACL_IPS extended IP access list

    allow an ip

    !

    VLAN-access plan VACL_IPS 10

    corresponds to the IP ACL_IPS

    action forward

    !

    VLAN filter VACL_IPS vlan-list of 30, 40, 50, 100

    !

detection of intrusion switch 1 module 4-port data 1 capture allowed - vlan 30,40,50,100

switch 1 capture of data-port 1 intrusion detection module 4

1 switch intrusion detection module 4 data ports 1 autostate include

    !

detection of intrusion switch 2 module 4-port data 1 capture allowed - vlan 30,40,50,100

switch 2 capture of data-port 1 intrusion detection module 4

2 switch intrusion detection module 4 data ports 1 autostate include

    Thanks for the help.

The METHOD didn't need special orders to inspect the traffic in Promiscious mode.

You'll want to put your JOINT management on a local VIRTUAL network interfaces to talk with them:

detection of intrusion management access module 4-port - vlan 99

Use the switch "transfer the capture:

    VLAN-access plan VACL_IPS 10

    corresponds to the IP ACL_IPS

    action before capture

Get rid of the spaces between your numbers VLAN

    VLAN filter VACL_IPS vlan-list 30,40,50,100

If you put two IDSMs in the same chassis, you will need to decide how to divide traffic between them. You can assign different VLAN to each METHOD.
