  It could be a problem with some of your id3 tags, eventually.  Download and install mp3tag and use it to set your tags in the format iso-8859-1 id3v2.3.  Use tag copy and label stick to ensure that other versions of tag crushed.  Empty comment fields.  Sometimes strange non-printable characters in the comment field can cause the Sansa to do weird things.

  Try the formatting and reloading of your music player.

  Try to update your firmware manually.

  Try to install rockbox to see if the files play well with this alternative firmware.

  Hi all

  Long story short, installed rockbox, was running.  Was not thought out and plugged the USB... the screen went black, rocket seems dead.  Hard reset does not work.  Start on THE does not work either.  BTW, my rocket is a v2.

  As far as I saw, any size MicroSDHC can be used.

  SD and SDHC are the same size, just different formats inside.

  In theory, any size SDHC should work - 16GB is the largest available (for now.)

  And I recommend to buy a cheap to begin with and see if you really, as the "quirks" to use, before getting an expensive.

  I would like to install Rockbox on my sansa c250. I read the installation instructions, but I think that they do not mention what partition devrais I copy files of Rockbox to. Since it is a different firmware, I guess it's the partition of 16 MB that appears with the hold on (moved to the rec button) button and press the rec button and plug it into usb port. Someone please confirm.

  Well, this is what I discovered after making a few mistakes.

  I have just connected my c250 to the computer. This example will get the 2 GB partition. Sansapatcher has begun. The sansapatcher installs the bootloader. I don't know about the partion of 16 MB or 2 GB or elsewhere. It a report see the two were leaving you... If you start the player to go into the partition of 16 MB, sansapatcher will not install.

  For Rockbox also, comes from c250 to connect to the computer. Rockbox unzipped to the 2 GB partition. This creates the .rockbox folder in your 2 GB partition. Unix users use ls - al to see the folder - don't forget it is a hidden folder. If you copy rockbox on the partition of 16 MB, then you will get the message that it could not find rockbox.mi4 at startup.

  I have not install additional themes and fonts, ones that come with the base installation that I think is sharp and pretty good.

  I have read many postings in this community and have a problem with my V1 e280 that I saw an ad for, although there are a lot of comments, so I apologize if I'm rehashing old stuff:

  I have pair of Sansa e280 V1 units which work very well with the original Sansa (v.18a) and also the RockBox OS (v. 14975 - 071004).  I recently bought a pair of Sandisk 4 gig chips Micro SDHC, which I am aware only work with RockBox.  Since I can connect to my computer Windows XP SP2 only my e280 using RockBox and since any bigger piece that 2 gig will not be recognized by the operating system of origin of the Sansa, there is no way both connect to my computer and also to see the concert 4 chip at the same time , so I downloaded the MP3 files in the 4 GB chip by plugging it directly into my computer.

  By the advice of this community, I connected my e280 to my computer and then deleted the folder System / Data.  Then I plugged in my 4 GB chip on the e280 and started Rockbox.   Then I went settings/General Settings/database/Initialize now and initialized and restarted the e280.

  The e280 sees 4 GB (System/RockBox Info) including how chip it is occupied by the .mp3 files, but when the new database is formed, he sees not all in 4 GB chip .mp3 files, only the .mp3 files internal to the e280.

  If I try to update the database (settings/general settings/Database/Update Now), then I get the standard "update in the background", and if I then go on RockBox/database and look at recently "added," I get «from the search...» 0 found ()", and shortly after, ALL database entries disappear!   I can get them by Initializing and restarted again, but still without the content of the 4 GB chip.   What happens here?

  First of all, thanks to you both for your help.  It turns out that the two of you helped in the solution.  Bob said to check the id3 tags.  Mark asked that records on the 4 GB chip have been seen, or the files were also well seen.  Those answers gave me a break and pushed me to do the following:

  1. all files (5 of them, each 450-500 MB, streaming audio) were loaded on the root of the chip 4 GB as .mp3 files and not in a folder under the root.  I pulled the chip and created a folder in which the five files were placed.  BTW, I use a chip capable of Kingston FCR-HS219/1 SDHC drive to access my 4 GB chips.  When I reloaded and reset my e280, I could see the folder and files.  In the FILES, they are listed in the folder.  In the DATABASE, they are listed as .  This led to the realization that:

  2. my flies streaming had no id3 tags!  I agree that this has not done a difference when searching for these files in the FILE list, the fact that they had to read labels meant that I missed them, since they were lost in the list of the other files not marked in the internal memory e280.  Assigning these files id3 tags, transferring to the e280 and then the initialization of the database show them correctly in the list database.

  BTW, my 4 GB chips are formatted using FAT32.

  Make sure you have the latest version of installed rockbox.  They just released version 3.0, you can download it from rockbox.org and unzip it in the folder .rockbox on your player for an easy upgrade.

  Fast forward your video is identical to quickly send a music file: press on the > | button and hold it pressed.  The summary function works by loading the same video file after it stopping in the middle.  You have the option to get out of the where you left off or restart from the beginning.  If you do not see this option of recovery, that's probably because it was a feature added since the last time you updated your installation of rockbox.

  If I understand your message, you see a badge that you have unread e-mails in your Inbox, but they are not appearing.  An easy way to separate the emails read from the unread macOS that Sierra is to click the button to filter in the list of messages, or sort by unread:
  

  • Activate the filters: Click the filter button at the top of the list of messages, click unread to display the list of available filters, and then select one or more filters. A check mark indicates a filter is active.

    

    If you use more than one email account in Mail, you can filter the Inbox into account - for example, only show emails from your iCloud account.

  • Disable an active filter: Click on the filter.

  • Disable all filters: Click the filter button .

    Mail remembers your filters and automatically applied the next time that you click the filter button to activate the filters.

  You can also sort the list of messages - just click on "sort by" at the top of the list of messages, then select an attribute, such as and a sort order. In a typical configuration, click on a column header.

  How many photos do you expect? How long did you wait for photos to sync?

  When you check the settings > iCloud > Photos on the iPad, is there an activity just below the iCloud photo library button? This is where we saw the current load/download activity.
