• vCOps of roles and responsibilities

  Hello guys,.

  I have a lot of questions revolve in my mind about vCOps of roles and responsibilities.

  Here's a scenario: I for two teams A and B, where I created two dashboards customized for them in the page of the user interface customized vCOps. The team should not have access to Team B dashboard and vice versa. How can we acheieve this?

  Is there an audit of the tools that can show who has what level of access in the vCenter or vCOps? No matter what shell Scipt power to track changes in the roles and responsibilities of the environment?

  You can create new groups in Ops vC for each team (under Admin > Security) and then share dashboards with only the groups that need access.  The access rights for the Group would be limited to these capabilities of dashboard you want to that they, like the change of interactions, resize/move widgets, edit widgets, even creating new dashboards...

  In regard to audits, go to Admin > Audit report user where you can run a report of users, groups and permissions.

  I am trying to install a role and authorization in vCenter 4.1 so that another user of vCenter 'read only' access can display CapacityIQ. Documents say to seek a role capacity IQ, but I have not found one. By the documentation.

  Procedure
  1. reboot the vSphere Client.
  2. Add the global privilege CapacityIQ in a new or existing role.
  3 right click on the folder root of the server vCenter in the inventory tree and select Add permission.
  4 in the dialog box assign permissions, assign the new role or existing user that accesses CapacityIQ.

  The global privilege CapacityIQ there simply isn't. How can I add this to so I can grant the necessary access?

  Thoughts anyone?

  I see my Caron, there is a privilege 'CapacityIQ' in the category 'Global' of roles. What do you see in your environment? I do not see a role 'default' created by Caron, so think you must associate a user with this privilege. I'm running the 1.5.0 last version of Caron, if this can help

• Roles and privileges, I'm really confused, 1st edition

  I'm having some trouble with the privileges assigned through roles. I read a few articles on the topic, but I'm still confused. I have actually some problems and I am speaking to them in two separate threads: this one and 'roles and privileges, I'm really confused, 2nd edition.
  
  To begin with, I am familiar with the following statement.

  Here's what's happening.
  
  I have a role, say ROLE1 has the privilege of system CREATE SEQUENCE (without the GRANT OPTION) are attributed to him. I then set ROLE1 User1 (it's just a dummy user and a role, if they conflict with reserved roles or accounts, they are not the real names of role and the user that I use). User1 has also created a package in its schema that calls a SEQUENCE to CREATE breast in a package procedure.
  
  When the user runs the package procedure we get an insufficient privileges error. When we do a SELECT * FROM SESSION_PRIVS the CREATE SEQUENCE privilege is listed; This should mean that the user can create a sequence, right?   Grant privilege explicitly to the user, not a role.

  Hello, here is how to change this behavior: enter about: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named browser.search.context.loadInBackground. Double-click it and change its value to true.

• How can I change the formats for left and right pages?

  First timer here in the Apple community so forgive my mistakes.

  Works with Apple Pages 5.6.1 on a MacBook Air, try to format a book for automatic printing. I want to do different for left and right pages headers and footers, and margins so that, for example, the page numbers appear outside of the page rather than all the beings in the lower right.

  Is it possible? I googled around and it seems page was once able to do, but the feature was removed thereafter. I have reviewed in the Document and Format menus and sought help, but no joy so far.

  Any help much appreciated.

  Not possible on Pages 5.6.1 which is absent from the reams of features.

  Use instead the Pages ' 09.

• Arrows left and right rarely work on Satellite A660-1DW

  I bought this laptop a few weeks ago from Argos to replace my old Vaio specification was the best I could afford. (it was purchased as an A660-17 but the label on the laptop says A660-1DW)

  Was pretty happy with it, but suddenly the left and right arrows must be pressed extremely hard getting them to consider same work. Even in this case, it's rare!

  I use the computer a lot so don't want to have to send for repair, and most of the branches of Argos seem to be sold out of them now.

  Anyone have a suggestion of easy fix? (hit along I know)

  I think that it s a keyboard problem that needs a replacement for keyboard
  The guarantee must be valid, so I recommend t change yourself because everything will be covered by the warranty and everything should be doe for free.

  New HP 2511 x:

  Display does not fill the whole screen - left and right are black.  "Fill the screen" fill the entire width, but with a serious distortion.  My computer is a Dell 8300, Pentium III, with a GeForce 6200 graphics card.   Tried the VGA and DVI cables, with the same results.

  When this form is connected to a new laptop think Pad W520, VGA connection, it displays full width without distortion, without adjustment by me.

  What should I do to the computer or the monitor to get full width display without distortion?

  Back to the DVI cable.  Do not use adapters.

  Have you installed thelatest driver of monitor?  Make sure that Device Manager is grateful the x 2511 HP monitor.

  Look in the display control panel and make sure that the monitor is the value of the landscape and the recommended resolution.  That indicates the recommended display resolution control panle?

  Try a reset of the monitor. Unplug the power cord from the monitor and hold the power button of the monitor for 30 to 60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and it lights up.

  Try the latest video card driverfrom the NVIDIA website.  Set the display to the image format in the NVIDIA Control Panel

  We have a Toshiba Satellite Pro T130-15F which presents a strange problem when any user logs on to the laptop and they try and use the left button of the mouse on the laptop it works like the right mouse button, if the laptop is not a left mouse button to work as a left and right work as right button.

  I tried to rebuild the laptop several times I tried also to restore the bios default settings, I would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas on this.

  You can connect the usb mouse to check how it will act? If the usb mouse works properly, it may be malfunction of touchpad.

  Why you n t try to reconfigure the touchpad settings.
  Have you checked the settings in Control Panel-> mouse control?
  There should be an option and some touchpad properties that could be changed.

• Difference between left and right usb ports 2015 15-inch model.

  I recently bought a 2015 15 inch macbook pro with 2.5 GHz processor and 512 GB hard drive. IV used for only one month and I notice a difference between the left and right usbs. The base of the left usb IE the metal connector pins seem to be lower compared to the usb on the right side. Usb port on the left also seems to be a bit looser than the right, but hardly noticeable. IV barely used the usb ports and would like to know if it's the same for the other macbook pro users with the same model.

  The game is a concern, and I would take the computer to Apple for review. After all, you are covered by the warranty.

  My current MBP is that a 13 inch 2012 has only USB ports on the left side. My previous was a pre-Unibody 15 inches and I have not noticed differences in fit / release between the right and left USB ports.
