Roller replacement fuser on HP Laserjet 4100mpf

Hello

would it be possible to replace just the roll of the fuser and not the kit of any fuser on a HP Laserjet 4100mpf?

I would buy the roll fuser separately and replace it myself, but I don't know if I can find it in HP parts stores.

Thank you!

IB

This seems to be a commercial product. For the best chance of finding a solution, I would post in the HP Business Support forum!

You can find the Board Commercial Laserjet here:

  • HP Laserjet Pro 200 m251nw: I've got streaks printing on laserjet 200.

All of a sudden, I have red streaks, printing on the right side of my documents. I tried using the cleaning page and it doesn't seem to help. I also have small black dots in various parts of the document which keep appearing on my documents. Cleaning that does not either.

It seems to be a residue of red on the sponge roll just before the paper out of the printer. How can we clean this roller or must it be replaced to correct? I used my vacuumn to try to clean it up, but it doesn't do any good.

    Need help.

    Hey @AlaskaMariner,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have a problem of magenta print quality printing of your color HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw of the printer. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. Thanks for the troubleshooting steps you have already tried before reaching out for support, including.

On this model of printer there no zones in the product that you can clean it manually. The only method supported this printer paper path cleaning and area of the cartridge is running the cleaning page. You may need to run the cleaning a few times page to fix this.

Sometimes red streaks can be caused by a low toner cartridge. When toner is low, it can gather in some areas inside the cartridge and create a "streak". I can have you hold the cartridge by the sides and shake it gently from left to right to redistribute the toner. Once the cartridge has been shaken, reinstall the cartridge. Once your cartridge is re-installed, please test print to see if the problem of dragging is still happening.

If the problem persists you can please click here for the steps of quality supported by your printer. "Once the document of support opens please run through the steps to"check toner cartridge status"", "make the diagnosis of additional print quality" and "inspect the drum unit for damage".

If the quality issue persists you may need to try a new HP authentic to verify whether this problem is caused by a magenta cartridge faulty cartridge or the printer.

The black dots that you see are often caused by a dirty paper path roller or fuser on your printer number. As mentioned previously, the only way to solve a dirty paper path would be to run several pages of cleaning. A defective fuser unit would lead to a replacement of the entire unit.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • LaserJet 5550 jams

A month ago my 5550 from interference. When I studied, I found that the image transfer kit had been damaged. I have now replaced the roller and fuser (as well as toners as they were low).

However, I still get the same error of the machine - 13.09.00 jam inside top cover.

And that's what I do not understand because the book ever, he anywhere near here. It gets only to the extent of the bottom of the kit transfer image, where he gets is crumpled or torn.

Now it's practically all new in there - that is left to do? Any ideas?

I get the same problem if I am printing over the network or just try a page offers the unit itself.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi sabrefreak,

Jam 13.09.00 JAM IN TOP COVER ARE Code means that the the printer detects that the media has crumpled in an accordion fold at its entrance in the fuser unit.

In your comments, you mentioned that the fuser unit has been replaced, but you still get the error.

This leads me to think that the flag of the sensor or the sensor may be damaged.

This is a picture of the top of the fuser unit when it has been removed from the printer:

It is a picture of the bottom of the fuser unit.  The area circled in red is the indicator sensor that is associated with the 13.09.00 Jam.  Make sure that this indicator can move freely.

This next image is located left of the fuser flag in the photo above.  This is the part that interacts with the sensor in the engine. Make sure that there is no damage.

This last photo is in the left side of the print engine where the sensor above flag together with the sensor.  The sensor is circled in red.  Make sure that there is no damage to the detection area.

If all goes Visual inspection, you may have a problem with the sensor.  In this case, I recommend that you contact HP support.  The sensor may need to be replaced.

    I hope this helps you.

  • T420 without fuse bad backlight?

I accidentally replaced with power cord connected screen (laptop computer has been turned off)
I realized something burning when I saw the spark of the hd cable connector.
The screen still works, but not backlight. I can barely see the image on the screen with the lamp.
I ordered a new screen, same problem. So I guess that the screen might be allowed.
I did a search online, it looks like I burned a fuse for the backlight.
Could someone help me identify the fuse? Thank you

It is not difficult to blow the fuse. On older machines with backlight CCFL, you would blow a fuse on the inverter, which is simply replaced. I do not have a Council T420 look right now, but since T410 and fuses used to normalize numbers, they are not. There are usually 2 fuses involved and both are physically near the LCD screen connector. (opportunity to F8 and F7) They can be under black plastic protective sheets. The biggest fuse 2 did the backlight and one more little 5 - amp is involved with LED icons on the bezel of the screen. I remove the card completely and check with a multimeter. You need good material to replace fuses on the map. It is a multilayer Board and uses lead-free solder that melts at very high temperatures. At a minimum, you need a preheating of quartz and a good infrared, temperature-controlled or recovery of hot air station.

  • LaserJet 8150dn start button is stuck - how to access the mechanism internal?

Can someone tell me how to access the internal mechanism of the switch so that I can repair or replace it. My LaserJet 8150dn works very well (it is plugged into a power strip which has a power button) but the switch is blocked. He is pushed back and he does not feel as there is no 'spring' behind it more to push back in position.

I don't want to arbitrarily start unscrewing panels external printers.

I did a search for repair instructions, but all I get are sites that offer their professional services. Given that it is age of pay a repairman to work on it would not be a wise investment. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

  • When you print envelopes LaserJet 401dne

I have a printer Laserjet 400 401dne replaced my old HP Laserjet 4 p.  Has been able to print envelopes without any problem of Windows XP pro with MS Word 2002.

Now I can't get the printer to print the envelope without spoiling.  With the settings default to the printer and using the envelope feature, I have selected "manual for Tray 1.  It did not work.  It tray print on a letter-size sheet 2.  Went to the printer, and the type and selected envelope paper size as envelope #10.  Was able to get out of the bin, however, the impression gets compensated because it is somehow the printer still thinks it gets a 8.5 x 11 sheet.  So when the envelope going by for printing, the return address is cut.

What I'm doing wrong here?  I've never had to change the settings of the printer for the type of front support.  I let the software handle this?  Don't see why they had to do printing envelopes so complicated.

  • 2350DN monochrome Laser printer: Faded print

I did shooting up as much as I possibly can with this printer about the light printing problem / faded.

The issue: the right of all pages printed is faded or white, and there's a solid white line down the right side.

Here is a scan of the test page printed with this problem:
    http://oi59.Tinypic.com/2wpuiyt.jpg

Things I've tried: replace the imaging drum, switching on the drum toner/Imaging together with that of a printer of the same work, pass the transfer roll with the work printer transfer roller, replacement of the fuser.  I checked for debris, but never found anything.

I did the test at halfway, and it happens before it hits the fuser unit.

What is the cause? How can I solve this problem?  Any help is appreciated.

  • LaserJet 2100 - multiple pages feed even after roller and separation block replacement

    Hello

I have a old and, up to now very reliable LaserJet 2100.

After experiencing a few problems of collection of papers, I replaced the power rollers and separation for the MF tray and the main tray buffers. Each tray pickup seems to work well and always takes a single sheet at a time.

However, what power from the main tray (bottom), often (but), a second sheet will be in the printer to receive AFTER the first leaf has been picked up and transplanted (that is, the end of the page has entered the printer). It's almost as if I print a multi-page job, even if it's a single page (that is, the regular test page). The first page comes out of the printer normally and then the printer stops (paper jam error) with an inch or two of the second sheet comes out of the output slot.

With the covers off the coast, I see that the solenoid is it undertakes to allow the feed roller to bring in the first page, but remains often engaged a bit too long, so a second sheet is picked up * after * the first sheet is completely picked.

The maintenance manual enamels on the use of signals from the sensors in the paper (or for that matter, even where they are), so I'm a bit lost as to how to solve this further.

    Any ideas?

It is a problem on older printers. Your question is tray 2 pickup solenoid that controls the movement of the roller from tray 2. It is very difficult to access, and you will need the maintenance manual. What happens when you send a print job the main gear assembly rotates and the solenoid which controls the roll tray 2 active and moves his arms 'L' to release the roller and then turn off the power to the solenoid and the arm of 'L', which is spring returns to stop the front roller it can turn again. HP has used a material damping on the solenoid to calm the activation of the solenoid clicking noise. Over that time off and all that remains is the glue that held up. When the solenoid activates arm 'L' hit the Center and glue residue prevents the arm of his return in time to prevent it from stopping the roll and therefore another sheet is fed. You need to access the solenoid which is behind the main landing gear on the right side. Takes a lot of work and you will need the maintenance manual. Once you have access to the solenoid, you remove, unhook the spring and remove the arm of 'L '. Then you clean the residues of glue on the edge of the coil and everything on the arm of 'L '. You then ask a material felt on the edge when you remove the glue. Put everything back together and it should work another 12 years without problem. Good luck.

  • My printer HP LaserJet 1536dnf printer prints black pages after replacing the toner with a new one!

I changed the toner cartridge for my printer HP LaserJet 1536dnf with a genuine HP toner cartridge and now it's printing the pages in black.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thank you!

    Hi @Beaglemom49779,.

I see by your post that you have replaced the toner and now get all black pages. I can help you with this.

Have you had the same problem with the printer before replacing the toner?

It could be a hardware or with the printer fuser problem.

If the problem started just after replacing the toner then most likely, the toner.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector)

Number one cause of problems with toner.

Check if the drum unit for damage:

    1. remove the cartridge of toner product and check that the tape has been removed.
    2. check the memory chip for damage.
3 examine the surface of the imaging drum on the bottom of the toner cartridge.
CAUTION: Do not touch the roller (Imaging drum) on the bottom of the cartridge.

His fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print quality problems.
    4. If you see the scratches, fingerprints, black on the drum, or any other damage on the imaging drum, replace toner.
    5. If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, rock the toner cartridge gently several times and reinstall it. Print a few pages to see if the problem is resolved.

Please call our technical support if the there is a problem with the toner and you learn about a replacement, to the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number. Contact HP.

  • HP LaserJet P4515 - error 13.05.00 out of Fuser, paper thin, Jam.

HP LaserJet P4515 - error 13.05.00 out of Fuser, paper thin, Jam.

I have frequent errors of this type during work duplex paper jam. Simplex jobs seem to work unless I'm trying to duplex manually by printing on one side then the other well.

When the jams, I will have a page hit the sensors after the roll before the transfer, usually empty the page following any given bin and my page duplex, which crossed once and came back to the backpage, folded under or on top of itself after its passage of the transfer roller, but before it hits the Fuser rollers.

Sometimes it wil happen all other double-sided pages, or it can leave 5-10 before doing it again.

Fuser has been replaced twice, because I thought maybe the first fusion unit was defective.

I ran the component tests, tests of sensor and they seem normal.

I need to know where I should look next.

Currently, I plan to change all of the food guide, since this is where the interference takes place.

The food guide was the culprit.

The main roller connected to the gear was broken, which allowed to get out of the lowest speed.
