  I have a problem with my printer Laserjet 5550. It will print jobs with multiple copies. It prints the first copy and then prints a message "error: unable to store job at printer.".  Reason: Not enough space for this work.  Solution: delete some files on the disk before sending back the jobs. »

  I checked for jobs stored using the printer menu (recover the work) and there is not.

  I downloaded and installed HP Web Jetadmin (as the manual suggested printer) and found the printer. Depending on the printer the data there are no hard drive.

  I manage the printer on a small LAN and the main computer that I use with this printer has Windows Vista.

  Anyone can shed some light on this?

  Derek, make sure that the Mode of storage & Mopier Job are set to "Disabled".

  You can also upgrade the internal memory of 5550.

• LaserJet 3052 jam in the output tray

  Help!  I have a paper jam in the output tray which cannot be extracted from the front.  The manual says to remove the back panel, but there are no instructions to know how to get down panel rear and I'm afraid I'd break.  It seems that there should be a button to push to release, but I can't find anything.  I can't get off!

• LaserJet p2055dn "jam in cartridge area.

  I clear a jam of recent paper (for labels) and the printer works fine.

  However, if I try to use the "direct delivery" option when opening the door, I get an error message "Paper jam in the area - open the cartridge door and clear jam."

  I can't find a paper jam, but simply closing the door from behind and put back the cartridge, clears the error message, and I am able to print via the upper output tray.

  Any suggestions?

  I had a paper get stuck in my printer HP Color LaserJet 2840. I removed the broken book. Then it hapenned again.

  Deleted the book broke for the second time and now the error message on the print remains on the screen.

  On many different models of the HP LaserJet, life County goes backward.

  I have trawled through the forums and found this issue several times before but I still have to find answers.

  HP LaserJet, many different models, we have thousands of printers in our society, many of them. We all control our machines through SNMP software. When we looked at the lifecount of machines, we saw machines fell thousands of engravings. To check that it was not the software we physically is went to the machien and printed pages of config which showed the fall. Suddenly, the machines that had been installed a few years ago had made only 200 prints!

  We had manually a wide reading of some of the machines - a week later, when the SNMP alerts us to a drop of water, we went to the machine and playback was lower - there defintely lost charges.

  I also know that it is not isolated to us. I saw him to other companys. Please can you help push this problem transfer or have a resolution.

  For example:

  The printer was showing a number of 56 000 prints, then 20,000 pages.

  -I think they fall mutiple times, sometimes for less than 10 prints, some up to 40,000.

  -We tried the Firmware update on a sample, but this had no effect. I knew that it would not help as this issue seems to go through a large number of machines and many different firmware versions.

  -It is 100% not someone set to zero off the machine.

  I was in contact with HP and registered a case of this problem. HP have reproduced this issue themselves - so it's a fault in the machine. They believe that this is a big in the firmware and are working on a fix for our machines. I suggest, if you have the problem you contact HP and save it.

• Why duplex option isn't greyed out on my Mac, but not my PC?

  I can't for the life of figure me out how to turn on duplex printing of the print booklet on my Mac command. If I move the files a PC, I can make it work.

  From the PC, I'll print booklet-> Configuration printer-> Configuration-> click on the Preferences button and finally I am in the printing tab shortcuts to turn on both sides (duplex) printing. This works.

  But on a Mac I'm going to print booklet-> Print Settings-> Configuration-> printer choose layout, then the duplex option is grayed out.

  As I build the product book on my Mac, I have to be able to do the entire workflow of Mac.

  I'm in InDesign CC on machines and printing on a HP Color Laserjet 5550 PCL 5.

  It may seem a problem of driver on the Mac, but I don't know what else to try.

  The answer to my original question was this:

  Print settings on the Mac, I had not checked on the duplex unit, printing, from the hand. It was not accessible form print menus, I had to go to the mac system preferences.

  I'm afraid that this is not something that you can fix it if it is off. If the steps outlined in the document below did not help, then the best thing to do is to contact HP support to see if they can fix it and how much it would cost.

  I have a laserjet 2200dn which worked very well so far.  Tried to print an e-mail and all three lights are solid lit.

  There is no jam.  I turned off hard twice for more than 15 minutes each time.  Printer cycled through its normal and is starting operation went to normal sleep both times, then entered the error condition when told to print.

  That essentially means it was one or a 49 error 79, he interprets as a trainer.

• LaserJet P4515: LaserJet P4515 multiple paper jams

  Jam LaserJet P4515 continued in multiple locations, fuser, under the path between two tray and toner cartridge and toner area. Maintenance Kit life of 67% left, rolls have been changed, toner has changed, the vacuum cleaner, wipe with the cloth to dust and used air canned.  What else could we do?

  I searched on the OUTPUT of the fuser, PAPER END JAM and found a post indicating all food guide could be the problem.  After replacing the part (whole food guide) on Monday, there were not additional paper jams.   Thank you for your help.
