Rope length and zeros

Is it possible to add zeros based on the length of the string in a RTF model? For example, we want a field to display always 3 digits on a report like this:

If FIELD1 = 8 in the database, it should show 008 in the report.
If FIELD1 = 26 in the database, it should show 026 in the report.
If FIELD1 = 245 in the database, it should show 245 in the report.

Can do something like this?

<? If FIELD1 = 1 character, then add '00' end if? >
<? If FIELD1 = character 2 can add '0' end if? >

Or something like that?

<? choose:? >
<? When:strLength.FIELD1 = 1? > '00' & & Field1 <? end when? >
<? When:strLength.FIELD1 = 2? > '0' & & Field1 <? end when? >
<? Otherwise:?? > Field1 <? end otherwise? >
<? end to choose? >

Thank you for your help.

You can use if conditions... example:

2? >

Edit the last necessary condition... Each stated in a form field and the square shape all fields in the same cell...

Please assign points if you were helped.

    Hi Richard

    + 1. Our application can send a length zero answers event that causes the test to abort with the error "the length of the content is zero", but is a perfectly valid response. +

    In OpenScript:

    View -> OpenScript preferences -> playback -> Module Http -> error recovery; and uncheck download of length zero errors are fatal.

    Remember that when you run a load in BTA (eLoad) test you will also change the setting here:

    In BTA

    Tools -> Options -> the default Scenario is - Error Handling > > define the object download errors are fatal: false

    Note the check box next to the drop-down list, by checking that you add it to the default view of scenario, I would recommend doing so you can easily change this setting.

  • Through the sum of the values in all of the array of Boolean one and zeros

    Hello.

    I have an array of Boolean which I have converted one and zeros. I just want to the sum of all the elements in this table (in other words, giving the number of 1 in the table). I used the feature to add items, but I get a negative value. I checked there were not all values except one and zero (I know it shouldn't be) using max and min. I don't know how a negative value has been calculated - any ideas.

    Thanks in advance

    Before adding elements, convert the table I32 or I64. The output of the primitive add-on is of the same type that the entry and if the entry is an I16, then you cannot have a value greater than 32,767 or value will wrap around (what happened in your case.

    How to get and set the length and the width of the content of the layer

    All layers are packed not equal. a layer as adjustment have no limits. Layer to smart object can have two different sizes. The size of the object and the size of the object may be transformed. All smart object layers have an associated transform. To transform a smart object layers you need to work with the size of the object the generated pixels fot the layer. Text layer can be resized with a transform or by changing the font size. Pixelated layers are resize via a transformation.  The script method is resize.  When you resize the number of pixelsits made by interpolation. You can specify what method to use or set Photoshop interpolation preferably by default.

    There is also a bug in Photoshop scripts if you pause the story said make a selection and use resize. Photoshop will properly support up to a State before where you suspended history. This bug seems to be in all versions of Photoshop.

    If you look ate the script in my bug report, you should get a good idea of how to resize a layer.

    Rob,

    You can use SDO_GEOM. SDO_MIN_MBR_ORDINATE and SDO_GEOM. SDO_MAX_MBR_ORDINATE to calculate the length and width of a mbr.

  • Frequency minimum step length and duration list minimum for the frequency lists in the generator of signals from NI 5406

    Hello

    We need power RF amplifier with a function generator to create plasma in an ion source. The signal pulse duration must be 1ms long, repeated twice per second.

    Today, we work in the following way: we spend the RF with f0 (aprox 1,995 MHz) frequency. After 20, we send a trigger signal passing frequency f1 (aprox 2.005 MHz).  We keep this frequency for the rest of the pulse.  However, the plasma that we generate is not 'constant' or stable during the whole impulse. If we smoothly change the frequency during the pulse we could improve.

    We would like to do: use the frequency sweep: rather than use this frequency hopping, we would like to move smoothly f0 f1 (frequency scanning). Then F1 to f2.

    As we have a PXI for data analysis, we believe using the arbitrary function generator of NOR: 5406 of NEITHER allowing the frequency sweep. However, in the book loads, it is not very clear, and I have a few questions:

    -We can create a "list of frequencies. In the site OR below, it shows that the "minimum of Step' is 1.28us, which would be ok for us (I understand that the"minimum duration of Step"is the minimum time between 2 frequencies). However, the manual of the device "NI PXI/PCI-5402/5406 specifications" said the frequency list has a time step of 1 ms to 21s. What is the good?

    -It is also said that the "duration of minimum list" is 1 s. For us, need us a shorter list that 0.5 seconds (we need to repeat the same pulse twice per second.). Is it possible to do what we want?

    -At the end of the day, we would like to implement a control loop which modifies the list of frequencies in real-time.

    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards
    Jose.

    Hi Jose,

    You're right about the inconsistencies of the documentation. The minimum step was of 1 ms, but was changed to 1.28 µs to driver version 2.6. The help document has been modified to reflect that, but the specifications were not. I'll make sure that attaches.

    The length of the minimum list is not listed in the book loads, and the latest version of the help the signal generators OR (driver version 2.9) lists the minimum list than the 1 step length. Aid has changed to the driver version 2.6.1 to clarify that the 1s meant 1 step. I've attached a screenshot of the help of the most recent.

    There is an example that is installed with the NOR-FGEN driver called "Fgen Sweep Generator.vi". I would recommend from this for your application.

    I hope that some of the inconsistencies in our documentation brightened. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

  • Regulator PID very slow to reach the value Point and zeros process Variable when it should not

    Hello

    I am using a PID controller to regulate the emission of a filament current in an ion gauge, but I'm running into several problems.

    The first and less important, are the controller of PID VI takes at least 5 minutes to get the current where it needs to be.  Is it possible to speed this up?

    The second and more important, are that the PID controller tends to zero the process variable before you start the process of getting the close process of the target value variable.  This can be seen in the attached VI: I write 5.8 volts voltage filament - something I did at the beginning to try to get the controller PID for the process close to the target faster - value variable but when the PID controller starts to do his thing, he kills the tension before anything, rather than rise of 5.8 V.

    The attached VI is a single which has these problems.  VI actual ion gauge controller I've written has the same problems, but in a form even more frustrating.  I have a while loop set up for the filament voltage to where it should be (using a PID controller) first and foremost, then a loop of data acquisition, which also includes a feedback loop in the form of a PID regulator to maintain the filament voltage.  When the second PID controller starts to run, it concentrates the tension that the earlier had set, taking another 5 + minutes to reach the point where we can take data and giving us 5 minutes of false data in the process!

    Does anyone know why PID controllers are behaving like this, and what can I do to fix/work with this behavior?

    Hello

    It seems that PID VI will always be 0 for the first iteration. You can, however, use the advanced PID VI and set up the first iteration in manual mode. After subsequent iterations, you could then define this automatic mode and there will be a transition smoothly. I think this will give you the desired behavior.

  • Table 2D with the ones and zeros

    Hello

    I want to use a MATLAB code in Labview, but without the help of MATLAB.

    The code is the following:

    Mask = ones (size (cc));
    Mask (1:sze, = 0;)
    Mask(:,1:Sze) = 0;
    Mask (end - sze, + 1:end, = 0;)
    Mask(:,end-Sze+1:end) = 0;

    It must be a picture 2D with joints and boarders with zeros. The width of the boarders are sze and the 2D array has size of cc.

    I can create a matrix of zeros, but that's all.

    What is the problem with loops? Why this arbitrary restriction?

    (Unless you're on FPGA, things need to loop almost anything, even it is hidden inside functions).

  • Delete zero balances in calculated fields and zero decimal points

    Hello

    I found the right java script to remove the balances of zero in calculated fields, but also, so I have to remove the two decimal points.  Can I work on what I need to add and where in java script so that it works?

    Thank you

    Nicole

    If you don't want to show any decimal places, this means generally that you want to round down to an integer. To round to the nearest integer, you could modify a single line of script in the Format:

    AFNumber_Format (0, 0, 0, 0, "$", true);

    and the same for the script of the hit. Note that this does not change the actual value of the field, it doesn't change what is displayed in the field. This is important if the value of the field is used in a calculation or exported, since it won't be the same as what is displayed. To change the value of actual field to round to an integer, it is usually best to use a custom validation script.

  • Length and scale

    I would like to know how can I fix the measurement of the length of an object if my balance is behind it.thank you!

    I don't think that 2 cm will throw you off, but I guess corals do not grow very quickly. I took lots of photos of small objects where I can't get a scale in the image. What I do is before or after taking the picture, I don't touch the focus and take a picture of a scale. Then in PS, I can bring the scale in the image, as long as no images have been resized.

    The calcultion is not running if the field 'blabla' is specifically set to 0. How can I fix it?

    Hi, Bob! Thanks for the tip. I discovered that three equal signs inherently makes a distinction between "" and 0. I think that the value as string method would work, but below is thus:

    If (getField("blahblah").value = "") {event.value = ' ' ;}}

    else {event.value = calculation here ;}

  • Make the same text of length and distribute evenly

    Hi all

    I'm creating a series of posters and I need to have lines of text with simple words or phrases of the same length. Obviously would the font size need to change upwards or downwards according to the number of letters per word/sentence that needs to be pressed in the specified length.

    The distance between the lines must be the same (IE 2mm).

    For the moment, I do these manually, that is to say, I am typing the text and manually enter the width and then align all the words and phrases to create a rectangular block of text. Also, I manually adjust the distance between each line, as using the distribution does not have the desired effect...
