  Any ideas on how I can get the drivers to re - install?

  Windows 7 has been corrupted, so I reinstalled Windows to the factory image. I'm now reinstall all programs but used to install printer drivers. They installed fine when I got this PC from office in December 2009. I get the following message.

  I run the installer as administrator, tried it in Compatibility Mode for XP and Vista, verified box "Run as Administrator", etc. etc. Nothing works - I still get the same message.

  I have all the Windows updates.

  I downloaded drivers from the HP website. The file is "rub_w01_Americas_Euro1.exe".

  The product name and number = Officejet 7210 all-in-One printer

  Operating system = Windows 7 Home Premium

  Any suggestions on how to get this re-installed?

  Well, who seems to have been the solution. Initially, I did a search on the HP website for the printer driver for the printer, and this original file was the one I pointed. It was also the same the original file that I had since my first installation of the printer two years ago - I looked on the HP site this time just in case the driver has been updated.

  However, I tried the file you said and it works beautifully. The printer software interface is completely different and there is this new "Solution Center" application that has been installed - so I assume that HP has re-written the driver and software package around, including the installation package.

  I'm puzzled why HP research could point me to an incorrect file.

  I'm still puzzled as why the original file that I used to install the drivers for printer two years ago is no longer works on my PC.

  In any case, thanks for the idea. I don't know how you find the file, but it worked.

  I'm really stuggling now and its quiet frustrating as im a student and I have papers to write.

  I tried to download the previous software for os 10.10 driver for my macbook because it doesn't have a disc drive.

  He kept going upward and upward is not my broadband speed, I checked and no downloads in one day an age as it takes DAYS Yes he said days!

  So I thought I'd fire my PC and download the drivers on my massdrive so I can install it on my macbook... 10 minutes, I waited 10 MINUTES to 0%!

  Someone please help me I just want to use my printer that I bought! Ive even tried to do it via the ip address to configure this way and failed spectacularly!

  I tried everything you mentionrd sxcept msconfig. It did the trick. My printer prints and reset msconfig... One more question if I can - my printer will work with Windows 10 or do I have to buy a new 8630?

  I see that you are having problems with not being able to scan. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

  Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. The USB cable should not be more then 6 feet.

  I've provided the URL for the updates of the printer. HP Officejet 5610xi all-in-One Printer Drivers.

  Choose your operating system, click Next and click on the update available.

  Here is a document with a few steps to try to see if this will solve the problem.

  The two utilities that I mentioned manage alignment automatically. Also, I photographed my hard drive, then restored the SSD. I have no clone, which means a direct copy of the HDD to the SSD.

  I just went through this myself in July, using Acronis True Image 2012 to get my existing on my 256 GB SSD mSATA HARD disk image. It worked like a charm. I checked that the SSD has been properly aligned.

  the title pretty much says it all, and I'm desperate. All of a sudden I have no write access to key Windows system files more. I use a password protected administrator account, but all users or groups of users lost their privileges, which is immutable, given that I don't have permission.   Hi, for installing drivers WinXP on Satellite Pro M30, I have only one image burned on the installation CD. It seems that there is a problem with the tdevconex.exe (root dir). When it is started, a window appears which has asked to send an error report to Microsoft. So I'm not able to install some drivers (WLAN, LAN,...).

  Unfortunately, the drivers downloaded from the Toshiba Homepage see this file on the CD (as the wland.cmd for example).

  So, what can I do? I did find this file on the homepage for download. Can I install these drivers without the tdevconex.exe? How? Or where can I get the file?

  I put t know what image you have, but I recommend to use the original recovery CD. If you n t have one you can use the CD of the full Microsoft and after that version, you can install all the drivers, tools and utilities with the help of Tools & Utilities CD or you can download them from the download page of Toshiba.

  Very important, it is the command of facilities. After installing OS install Chip Set Utility initially, display driver, sound driver and so on. Before you begin to install Toshiba stuff please install common modules first. It is very important.

  Just FYI; If you check the download list for your model Toshiba on page you will find information update Microsoft Windows XP SP2. Here, you can check what drivers or tools must be reinstalled after installing SP2.

  Still, you must download the drivers from the Toshiba driver page because they are pre-tested. Talk to the graphics driver, it is modified and a protection against overheating. So, I'm not advice you to use the ATI drivers. You can use them, but at your own risk.
