Routing problem mode SF300 - 24 Layer 3

Hi all, as a topic, I have a problem with my itinerary SF300-24. This is my network configuration:

Port 1 to 12 assigned to VLAN 10

Port 13-23 assigned to VLAN 20

24 port has an IP 10.17.7.254 to connect with my itinerary deafult, because I also have a Linksys RV042 router, connected in turn with my ISP router, having a 10.17.7.1 ip address.

VLAN 10 has 10.17.10.1

VLAN 20 was 10.17.20.1

So I add a default route on my SF300-24 to 10.17.7.1 to get an Internet connection.

Here's the problem:

Computer A is connected to VLAN 10 on port 1

Compuer B is connected to the VLAN 20 13 IDE oucederomsurlesecondport

An e B can talk perfectly each other and also to port 24 (10.17.7.254), but when I try to ping my Linksys RV042 (10.17.7.1) or reach Internet all fail.

Instead when I logged in SF300-24 and try to ping Linksys RV042 (10.17.7.1) or Internet access, everything works great!

What could be the problem?

Thank you

Joshua

Yes, need to set up static routes on router.

  • Keyboard shortcuts do not work after changing the blending mode to a layer

There is a strange bug that I experienced with photoshop. Whenever I change the blending mode to a layer (for example by selecting "Multiply" in the menu drop-down blending mode), my keyboard shortcuts stop working until I have click on the canvas again. It's annoying because often, I'll be on the Brush tool and I did draw on the canvas and press ctrl + z to re - activate keyboard shortcuts. I'm curious to know if this problem occurs to someone else and if anyone has found a solution for this.

    Version of Photoshop: 20150722r.168 x 64

    Operating system: Windows 10

It happens on Windows, because the drop-down list with blend modes remains highlighted or active (around the blue line). You can press ENTER to confirm and delete the highest point around blend mode dropdown or use keyboard shortcuts to change the layer blending mode. To change the layer blend mode, you must have selected layer and then press Shift + Alt + letter for the blend mode. This shortcut does not work in the case where the tool you are using have mode option in the blending Options bar.

  • Apple Airport Extreme and new FIOS router - problem

Hello, I have an Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n base station, which worked well with a Comcast router.  When you set up with Comcast router, I set the router to comcast to bridge and the Airport Extreme has done all the work as the main router. When I switched to Verizon FIOS today, I get the typical mistake of NAT double (that I did with the Comcast before configuring the router to Comcast to bridge).  However, the tech support guy FIOS said that was not an option, so he set up my Airport Extreme in bridge - router off mode mode.  This really live to the top incoming access using SSH, Timbuktu or the Apple screen sharing, given that I can't assign fixed IP addresses to the computers on my network and can not use the Airport Utility Network Port settings to open "pipes" for a particular computer.  In addition, I'm more comfortable using Airport Extreme, rather than things FIOS. Someone at - it other than enter Comcast suggestions?

I did a search and didn't see a post on this in the discussion forum.  Thank you

What is the brand and model of your router Verizon? Verizon provides you with administrator access to it to allow you to make changes?

  • Routing problem between the VPN Client and the router's Ethernet device

    Hello

    I have a Cisco 1721 in a test environment.

A net 172.16.0.0/19 simulates the Internet and a net 192.168.1.0/24 simulates the net, the VPN tunnel must go to (intranet).

The net 172.16.0.0 depends on the router 0 FastEthernet, Intranet (VPN) hangs on Ethernet 0.

The configuration was inspired form the sample Configuration

"Configuring the Client VPN Cisco 3.x for Windows to IOS using Local extended authentication"

and the output of the ConfigMaker configuration.

Authentication and logon works. Client receives an IP address from the pool. But there's a routing problem

side of routers. Ping client-side - do not work (the VPN client statistics that count encrypt them packets, but not to decrypt).

Ping the router works too, but decrypt and encrypt customer statistics in VPN packets count progressive

(customer has a correct route and return ICMP packets to the router).

    The question now is:

How to route packets between the Tunnel and an Ethernet device (Ethernet 0)?

conf of the router is attached - hope that's not too...

    Thanks & cordially

    Thomas,

Can't wait to show something that might be there, but I don't see here. You do not have the card encryption applied to one of the interfaces, perhaps it was not copied. Assuming your description you do it, or should it be, applied to the fa0 and you are connected. Try how you ping? Since the router or a device located on E0? If you ping the router, you will need to do an extended ping of E0 to the ip address of the client has been assigned. If your just ping the router without the extension, you will get sales and decrypts that you declare on the client. Have you tried to ping from the client to interface E0? Your default route on the router is pointing to fa0? You have a next hop to affect? You have several NIC on the client pc? Turn off your other network cards to check that you don't have a problem with routing on the client if you have more than one.

  • Change the blending mode in the layer Style

On a Mac, there at - it a shortcut to change the blending mode of the layer in the layer Style dialog box? On a pc, you can click on the blending mode menu and then once highlight you can scroll with the arrows. I know outside the layer Style dialog box you can shift and + or - with the tool moving, but the advantage to do inside your layer style dialog box is it does not affect your story. In addition, it's something I want to be able to do with blending all layer Style effect modes. Thank you.

No there isn't actually. Shortcuts mode Option shift mixture should really work here, but not

  • EMS 2010 routing problem inter vlan

OK, back to the base, I tried to install complicated things that did not work so now, I'm leaving the base.

I am trying to configure my SGE2010 48 ports Gigabit cisco / switch for routing inter - vlan.

so far, I put the mode switch layer 3 from the telnet console and rebooted, it.

entered the interface web and changed the ip of the vlan by default management 192.168.2.3

added the vlan 70 and vlan bridging 180, section of mangement of vlan

under the IP, IPv4 interface address, I've added the IP address for each virtual local area network as follows:

    IP Interface Mask

    192.168.70.3 255.255.255.0 VLAN 70

    192.168.180.3 255.255.255.0 VLAN 180

then I went in transition, management of VLANs, vlan to the port:

set the port g1 get access to the vlan 70

sets the g2 as an access port for vlan 180

connected A computer to port g1 with static IP 192.168.70.200 mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.70.3

connected computer B to port g2 with static IP 192.168.180.180 mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.180.3

I'll then in the routing static routing: I see the 192.168.70.0 destination IP address 24 as a type of local railway and even for 192.168.180.0 24 as the type of local railway

on a computer, I ping the gateway 192.168.70.3 and it works

on computer B, I ping the gateway 192.168.180.3 and it works

problem is that they cannot ping each other, windows firewall is disabled on both computers.

If I do a tracert on any of the computer he reach the gateway by default but then expire on the second jump.

any suggestions what I could have done wrong and the solution to the problem would be appreciated.

If you can test both the interface switches the routing works correctly. You need to maybe turn off the Windows Firewall or open the firewall to allow ICMP to a different subnet. Windows Vista and 7 by default will block ICMP from any other subnet then their own.

  • PowerConnect 6248 routing problem

    Hi all

I have a very frustrating problem with routing using a PowerConnect 6248 switch.

    Network configuration is the following:

    VLAN3

    172.16.0.254/24

    VLAN4

    192.168.0.254/24

PC on each VLAN using the switch VLAN interface IP (x.x.x.254) as the gateways.

Switch has configured default route to 192.168.0.248 which is a router with excess of 100 subnets frame relay cloud. 192.168.0.248 has routes suitable for all remote subnets via a serial interface, a static route to VLAN 3 (172.16.0.0/24) traffic through 192.168.0.254 and one way by default via a PIX 515 (192.168.0.253). Router and PIX is connected to access VIRTUAL 4 LAN ports. The PIX has a route to VLAN 3 traffic through 192.168.0.254.

The problem is that VIRTUAL 3 all hosts on the local network cannot access the Internet. They can ping the gateways in the order - 172.16.0.254, 192.168.0.248 and 192.168.0.253. I have disabled IP forwarding on the router and the switch with no effect.

I built this configuration in Cisco Packet Tracer 5.0 (it works) and we are running exactly the same IP configuration with a Nortel switch instead of the Dell 6248 (this also works).

Absoloutely perplexed to find out what I'm missing! I also noticed that if I perform a traceback while in the CLI on the router using a source IP address of the interface VLAN that it blocks the interface on the switch.

I would be very grateful to anyone who can punch me in the right direction.

I've included the config switch below.

When I test the same setting on packet tracer then get error:

    1. the destination IP address is not the broadcast address, and it does not match the IP address of the port. The appliance ignores the packet.

    Please resolev question:

    Kind regards.

    Deepak Kumar

I think that Reza questions 3 and 4 are more important than questions 1 and 2, but perhaps do not go quite far enough. The two switches to assign certain ports to a vlan specific and use the vlan by default for most of the ports. There are no statements on a switch which create the vlan but only statements that a port must Access a specified VLAN

    interface FastEthernet0/1

    switchport access vlan 7

On some versions of switches that may be enough to create the vlan, but on other switches, it is necessary to create the vlan before using it. Maybe something like

    VLAN 7

    name server_vlan

I would ask if the VLAN on each switch existence?

There is another question in this config. The switches have created more than 3 VLANs (vlan 1 - the vlan by default and vlan 2 and vlan 7.) But the L3 switch configured more than one interface vlan (3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9). Without a vlan underlying pertaining to these layer 3 interfaces vlan will not work.

  • Cisco SG300 / ASA 5505 intervlan routing problem

    Dear all

I have a problem with the configuration correctly sg300 layer 3 behind the ASA 5505 switch (incl. license more security)

    The configuration is the following:

CISCO SG300 is configured as a layer 3 switch

VLAN native 1: 192.168.1.254, default route ip address (inside interface ASA 192.168.1.1)

    VLAN defined additional switch

    VLAN 100 with 192.168.100.0/24, default gateway 192.168.100.254

    VLAN 110 with 192.168.110.0/24, default gateway 192.168.110.254

    VLAN 120 with 172.16.0.0/16, default gateway 172.16.10.254

Of the VLANS (100,110,120) different, I am able to connect to all devices on the other VIRTUAL local networks (with the exception of Native VLAN 1; is not the ping requests)

From the switch cli I can ping my firewall (192.168.1.1) and all the other gateways of VLANs and vlan (VLAN1, 100, 110, 120) devices

Asa cli I can only ping my switch (192.168.1.254) port, but no other devices in other VLAN

My question is this. What should I change or installation in the switch configuration or asa so that other VLANs to access the Internet through the ASA. I will not use the ASA as intervlan routing device, because the switch does this for me

I tried to change the asa int e0/1 in trunkport (uplink port switch also), to enable all the VLANS, but as soon as I do that, I can not ping 192.168.1.254 ASA cli more.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Concerning

    Edwin

Hi Edwin, because the switch is layer 3, the only necessary behavior is to ensure that default gateways to the computer are set on the SVI interface connection to the switch to make sure that the switch is transfer traffic wished to the ASA.

The configuration between the ASA and the switch must stay true by dot1q, such as the vlan all other, unidentified native VLAN tagged.

Also, if I'm not wrong, on the SAA you must set the security level of the port to 100.

  • 4.2 ACS authentication and exec flank on router Test mode.

The goal is to have GBA authenticate my username via ssh and let me go once authenticated privileged exec mode. Details below.

I have ACS Solution engine 4.2 and I have a router to test with the following commands:

    AAA new-model

AAA authentication login default group Ganymede + local

AAA - the id of the joint session

    RADIUS-server host 10.4.4.21 single-connection

    RADIUS-server key $# $& $* #.

The problem is the following. I can't SSH and login to the router using a user in the database of the CSA but the router does not allow me to use the enable command in exec mode. The error it gives me is:

    AAA_ROUTER_CLIENT > activate

    % Authentication failure.

    AAA_ROUTER_CLIENT >

I must be missing something in the ACS. Any help would be appreciated.

    You are missing this command

AAA authorization exec default group Ganymede + authenticated if

That's what you need on router

Router (config) # username [username] password]

    GANYMEDE-host [ip]

    radius-server [key] key

    AAA new-model

AAA authentication login default group Ganymede + local

AAA authorization exec default group Ganymede + authenticated if

    The GBA

Bring to users/groups at level 15

    1. go to the user or to set up groups of ACS

2 down until "settings GANYMEDE +".

    3. check "Shell (Exec).

4 check 'Privilege level' and enter '15' in the adjacent field

    Kind regards

  • RV042 routing problem

I try to use the rv042 as a primary internet connection and also as a VPN failover for my primary private WAN connection.

I have a load balancer / failover device, called a Fiberlogic, which acts as the main router to network my office remotely.  This device shows you all the traffic to my private network go to junction A and all Internet traffic going to the B connection (connection B is the rv042).  If the fiberlogic sees this connection is down, it will send the connection B's private network traffic.  The RV042 has a VPN setup, I tested it and it works.

However, I have one VERY difficult to get the RV042 to act as our internet gateway.  The RV042 is in mode "gateway."  Devices plugged into it directly (or via an external switch) work very well.  The RV042 LAN is 10.2.254.0/24, and he est.1.  FiberLogic est.254.  The main network is 10.2.0.0/24 (and the FiberLogic.1.  The FiberLogic road all traffic to the internet (and for failover) of 10.2.254.1.  I have install a static route for the RV042 road 10.2.0.0/24 to 10.2.254.254.

I had a ton of problems with this earlier today.  I have a second RV042 I put in to see if that would fix it.  There can be no.  Finally I have restored the default settings and reset the top, and I thought it worked.  As I was cleaning the I did one last test - and it failed.

I have install a hub between the FiberLogic and the RV042 and configure a computer with Wireshark to do some packet traces.  I get strange results.  I never get a repyl.  SOMETIMES I see answers from 10.2.254.1 (the RV042) towards 10.2.0.25 (my desktop) in wireshark, even if I don't get them (odd).  However, whenever I have ping to internet, I never see the answers, only applications.

I read that DHCP should be disabled for a static routing to work.  I tried with and without DHCP several times.  I tried with and without VPN.

Once again, peripheral not behind the fine work of fiberlogic (i.e. on the 10.2.254.0/24 subnet that use the RV042 as gateway).  UT behind the fiberlogic devices fail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RV042 Rv082 and RV016 router can be configured for additional NAT networks who are sitting behind the LAN.

    1. log on to the router

    2. go in the configuration Page

    3. roughly halfway down the page, there are article that says "several Setting subnet.

    4. click on the button that says "Add/Edit."  This will bring up a dialog box

    5. Enter the network number and subnet mask, then click 'Add to list' for example network: 192.168.200.0 mask subnet: 255.255.255.0

    6. click on save changes

    7. that you will return to the previous page in the installer

    8. the checkbox in Multiple subnet must be checked and the second network to be coordinated should be

    9. click on the page to "Save settings" at the bottom of the page

I note: the latest version of the firmware for the RV016 seems to prefer to have this process done with Internet Explorer.

  • Mode of thin layer of pine > Merge - broken?

Is something broken or is it just me?

Try to duplicate a normal layer with background layer at 100%. Run Graphic Pen on the top layer. Change Pin Light mode layer on the top layer. When I try to merge the layers, or even convert it to a smart object, the merged layer and the group changes SO.

There may be other combinations as well acting upward.

I tried PSCS5, removal of the preferences and the revival of quit smoking. Always act up.

    PS CS5

    MacBook Pro

    OS 10.6.4

I see not what you see. But this is just a preview problem caused by not consulting is not at 100%. If you use the default color for the graphic pen (black and white) filter, Pin light blending Mode should have no effect.

  • OfficeJet 6600 e-all-in-one: Wireless connectivity with the new router problem

We had the printer since 12 months, workin with no problems.

Just got a new modem/router (NETGEAR V7610) installed as part of the NBN implementation and I can't get the printer to connect to the new router. 5 and 2.4 G active networks. The two defined newtorks on security WPA2-PSK [AES].

The printer detects the wireless (2. 4 g) network, but can't coplete the connection. Tried the two direct input the network key and using WMA.

-The display panel shows "wireless invalid password (WPA) is entered.

-The results of network printer test page indicates a FAILURE on safety.

I was able to connect to multiple other devices (laptop, iphone, Kindle...) without any problem. Used the two direct entry of the key network and WMA.

    Anything else I can try?

Find a new update of the firmware for the printer (May 9, 2016).

After you apply the update, the printer is able to connect to the new modem.

  • Satellite A100-014: connection Wireless D-link router problem

I think that it is working properly. I keep getting kicked from WLAN (connected to the dlink DWL 900AP), but if I plug the Ethernet cable it works very well.

This vista software is a major pain. It will let me install the d-link software.

Does anyone have any knowledge about it?

If you need the d-link software you must ask the manufacturing of router for these updates or visit the support site for manufacturing.

What WLan encryption are you using? I used WPA2 and I had similar problems.
My router and the wireless network card were not 100% compatible with this encryption.

Now I use the WPA or WEP and it works.
