  On my Thinkpad with Windows 7 Professional I have everything configured as usual (see screenshots 5,6,7,8) but when I try to connect I do not get a command prompt where I wonder username and password, and finally the connection cannot be established (see Figure 9).   I can't see any attempt of 570w ISA to authenticate anything in the logs of the RADIUS.

  Also the capture of network traffic on the LAN to the Synology NAS port does not show the RADIUS datagrams.

  I already disabled COP because I read that it can cause problems, but it did not help.

  Can you please suggest something else I can try?

  I saw these screenshots, but that screen settings just select the button set up next to the authentication method in the section user authentication, under users.  In each of your screenshots, the RADIUS server identification number is 1, so I would also ensure that I configured the server ID RADIUS 1 that can be configured by going to users-> RADIUS servers.

  All that said, I have seen that your tests have passed and I also do not understand the point of having the RADIUS settings on other screens and then to have info ID RADIUS.  My thought is that you'd be able to pre-set RADIUS users of-> screen RADIUS servers and then select the RADIUS server ID in all other screens without having to enter the RADIUS news over and over again.  He also thinks that you could ignore the users-> screen RADIUS server and enter RADIUS information over and over again and it should work... as you set up initially.  However, based on the past experience of programming errors, I recommend configuring the ID from RADIUS server 1 under user-> RADIUS servers if you have not already... just in case where.

• Common remote connection problem

  I have a router Linksys WRT54GS who have used for many years without any problems. After installing a home security system I set up to connect to the DVR camera remotely from work or my phone and it worked fine. Then the next day it wouldn't connect remotely. • EA4500 - a wireless device of many with internet connectivity problem

  I wonder if anyone can comment on a subject that I have with a (a) wireless on my home network devices.  The problem is that a Dell laptop knows slow or no internet connectivity using wireless at all.  Sometimes 1-2 minutes to load one page, other times the message 'not able to display the Web page' dreaded.  That's using Ethernet.  I have another laptop (brand/model exact even) and it has no problem.  I also have a Macbook Pro and other IOS from Apple (iPod/iPad) devices which are very good.  Several connected Ethernet devices are very good as well.  The laptop in question had no problem with my previoius Linksys devices, which are a BEFSR41/WAP55AG and a WRT-54GS v2.  This laptop was the first day or two on the EA4500, but something happened that causes this problem.  I had to add the WAP55AG on my network so my son is happy again, but my plan was to dismantle the other devices.  Suggestions regarding what I can do to fix this are greatly appreciated.

  Thanks for the suggestion.  I tired who, but it did not work.  I then called Dell and they found that the wireless adapter on battery power has been set to maximum power saving.  Changed for maximum Performance and it's been very well.  Fortunately there is nothing wrong with the router.  Thanks again for the suggestion.

• Standalone Converter 4.0 Conversion remote connection problem

  I am brand new to the use of VMWare products.  I have four new computers to a hub (not a switch).  All PCs are XP Pro SP3 with the latest patches.  The hub is connected to our inbound Internet router.  The PC Gets the IP address of the DHCP server / router.  Four computers are part of a working group that I created.

  I installed the converter on PC1.  Following the instructions, I have disabled the firewall on PC4.  I also shared the entire disk C: on PC4.  Sharing allows anyone to read AND write.

  Back on PC1, I start a hot powered on the conversion with the remote IP address and user name Admin and password.  The convert connects and asks to install the agent, and then remove it on PC4.  I chose this option.  Then after a few seconds an error occurs.

  Not sufficient permissions to connect to (ip address).

  I have confirmed that I can access PC4 administrator account locally very well.  I tried another account with administrator privileges.  I tried the same thing on PC3.  I can't find anything on the site of VMware or communities that relates to this error.  With this error, I never even get to the landing page.

  Any ideas?

  Hello and welcome to the forums.

  Given that your XP computers are members of a workgroup, simple file sharing is enabled by default.  You must disable.

  Start > settings > Panel > Folder Options > click the view tab and uncheck Use Simple (recommended) file sharing

  If you use a remote workflow... designers send editors off-site packages assignment InCopy (ICAPs)... then they need create assignments to pack them for the remote InCopy user. There is no need to split a provision into smaller files or anything like that.  An assignment is a subset of the INDD file. several assignments - each encompassing different pages or sections - are created from the same INDD file.

  When the designer creates the assignment, ask them to turn off "include the original images in packages." that should reduce the size of the file.

  Or - as Bob said - you can avoid any distance/assignment workflow package rigamarole together keeping just the file in a project folder in the Dropbox folder on the local hard drive of the designer and to share the project with the publishers folder. In this workflow, the editors open the INDD file on their local computer and discover stories, as if they were open from a file on a network server.

  Solved.  If you keep tapping around the and about to box that says - "don't ask me about that' you can possibly get the check box, and then press 'yes '.  I just needed a little patience.  If you encounter this problem - which is persistent.

  If it's a sys user you will need to set the password file to connect to the database as sysdba user remotely. and we do not need to check if the privilege to connect is given to the sys user or not. adding to this remote_login_password check = EXCLUSIVE lock
