  I am disabled/blind but were fortunate to benefit from a new computer by the Department of Rehab of St.. for the Blind.I am trying to learn how to use it and the only problem I have is a person who lives with me knows a lot more about computers than I do and they found a way "around" my password which enabled them to start using my computer AND printer, while I'm at work. Can please tell me a simple way (not to mention that the hiring of a computer watchdog or install a camera) to set up a password and the correct identification information so that this person may not have a chance to get on my computer. It seems that they have downloaded a bunch of stuff and also used to view and download *. Yuk. They deny it, of course. I posted a question not so long ago, but because of the hospitalization doesn't have the chance to see the answers. Help, please.

  Just a note that a blind person is not likely to 'see' the promtps BIOS, because their screen reading software will not work until Windows has at least begun to start.  You may need to explain how to set a different and possibly more complex password within Windows.

  No, the upgrade program will replace existing windows with the same number of bits, 32 to 32 and 64 to 64.

  Even within the same version of Windows, passing from 32 to 64 and vice versa requires a clean installation.

• Looking for a way to test the keyboards with mini-DIN connectors 6-pin!

  My wife has an older Compaq Presario with 1.0 GB of RAM and a 200 GB hard drive.  I recently bought a HP with 4 GB of RAM and a hard drive 1.0 TB.  This is a sweet machine after you run the old PC for years! All my devices connect with USB Sockets. I have also my old Presario is almost double right at my wife, who is running XP with SP3 update.  We mainly use it for my magicjack phone I've used since 2008 and love! It still works great.  Our problem is that we have 3 keyboards with mini-DIN connectors 6 old pins that were standard until the entire passage to USB.  Not one of these keyboards is recognized by one of our PC. My wife's XP, but we have just upgraded to Windows 7 Professional for her.  What I want to know is if there is any test I can do also try another PC, because none of our PC recognize one of these keyboards who all worked in the past. Could we have somehow lost or damaged drivers for these keyboards? I was actually just an adapter I have that connects to the end of a usb connector, so it can be connected to the mini-DIN plug 6-pin on the PC.  When I do cela none of usb keyboards we have and which work fine work! So the problem must be some kind of internal problem as drivers, etc..  I'm just a rookie, so if someone can tell me how to proceed with troubleshooting and find a way to solve this problem we would greatly appreciate it!  Hate junk keyboards that work very well when there must be a way to solve this problem!  Thanks for any help!

• Delay with Gotowebinar cloud connector records? Where is the problem?

  I ran a number of campaigns of Webinar recently and every time there was a delay with contacts once they land on the connector of cloud on the canvas of the campaign. In my last campaign, there was a delay of two hours. In the end I had to manually register a certain number of contacts they complained.

  Would be - anyone know if there is a failure with gotowebinar or connectors of clouds are sometimes known to do this. Also are there tricks to try to minimize the delay.

  If I can't solve this problem, I sued a different Webinar provider that cannot be a bad thing.

  (Full disclosure: I work for ReadyTalk we have our own connector).

  There are several ways that a delay may be introduced in the whole process. Without seeing your campaign, I'll just comment all.

  1. The use of the program generator will set up and artificial deadlines. If you are in normal mode, it's 15 minutes a step. I would recommend the canvas of the campaign to eliminate this type of delay.
  2. Have your segment on the campaign will cause a delay also because they need to cross a decision rule of "They did sign up?" before you get on the cloud connector. The answer here is that the form processing stage put them to a waiting time before the connector. (The step of waiting is configured pour.01 mins) It will also take forward invite since they would not be part of the initial segment.
  3. The cloud connector itself can be slow depending on the number of API calls it undergoes. W
  4. You may also have the form post directly on cloud connector, which eliminates a lot of #1 and #2 using the Repost at server stage in the stages of processing of forms. TJ fields has a document circulating here describing how to do so.

  Using our own in-house cloud connector and avoiding the #1 and #2, we see coming in under 3 minutes quite systematically confirmations. Faster if you use the post to the step of the server in the form.

  I need help to find a better way to deal with a prompt to reboot my users get due to a vDesktop in model (Dell 710) host vMotioned to another (Dell 720). The difference between the two is the processor models. The 710 is a Xeon X 5670 and the 720 is a Xeon E5-2667. The two processors use the same .inf (cpu.inf) file and apparently the drivers. Simply, it triggers the installation process of the material causing the Plug and Play Manager to require a restart of the operating system after the installation. The result, I'm wanting just needs that this reboot window displays don't not weither would it by slaughtering the hardware installation process, hide the window of dialogue itself, or any other possible way to configure the system which does not show users. I've confirmed that you don't have to restart the machine remain operational. Here is some additional information on the operating system and all.

  1 vCPU

  2G of RAM

  vSphere 5.0.0 623860

  I encountered the same problem and the only solution I've found so far is to start the master on both hosts.  When he started on the two hosts, the message no longer appears when moving the virtual machine back to a host with a different model of CPU.  I have two clusters currently, so I have not tested vMotioning fast machine between hosts with different CPU while it is running.  When I had the chance to test, I'll post my results.

  We are finalizing plans to install Automic (software scheduliong formerly UC4) for our suite of retail applications and replace Uc4.

  The process came to know that Automic does not support AL32UTF8 database characterset.

  At this moment we have RMS and UC4 UC4 supports AL32UTF8 and schema for UC4 running on the same database server is inside the RMS database.

  From now on, it is recommended to have a separate database instance on the same server as the RMS database and with a different characterset which is WE8MSWIN1252.

  Is it possible to have 2 instances of database running with different charactersets, one with AL32UTF8 and the other with WE8MSWIN1252. ?

  There are configuration requirements before implementing instances of database?  THS APPWORX (for UC4) schema will be exported (data pump export) and imported into the new database.

  The utility Automic we want to use is not compatible AL32UTF8 and manage only a database of character set WE8MSWIN1252.

  Yes - without any doubt - two databases are independent and have nothing to do with each other.

  You may have - to test the export/import process rigorously. If your source is AL32UTF8 and target is WE8MSWIN1252, data loss may occur for those characters that are in the former, but not the last.

  There should be no harm in this.  All you need to do is add a new VMKernel and associate it with the second network card.  You can then run virtual machines on the network this NETWORK map.

  The other (more advanced) option is to use a switch that supports VLANS.  You can then connect ESX server to a port trunk on the switch that is allowed to access the two VLANs (or more if you wish).  This would allow you to be on multiple subnets on a NIC, freeing the other for redundancy.  At this point, you can choose to LACP (port channel) or binding Port against in ESX.
