• Running the scenario of ODI number of command line only (for the linux files) - file not found

  Hi Experts,

  We load data from .txt files in Linux server into a table.
  Scenario runs perfectly when running Windows ODI GUI (on linux agent.we have two agents who perform one is windows and Linux).

  When we try to run it from the command line using startscen.bat getting following error.

  ODI-1227: SrcSet0 (load) task fails on the source FILES FILE_SERVER connections.

  Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ODI-40438: file not found: /loadfiles/Test/xyz.txt

  By this mistake if we conclude that this file may not exist... But it works well to GUI.

  Infact we have given 777 permissions to file.

  Ideas please share...

• Error running batch file ODI scenario

  Hello, everyone!
  
  I load data into Essbase 11.1.2 views of MS SQL Server using ODI 11.1.1.5.0 and Local agent. I've created an interface that goes well if run manually ODI.
  Next, I created the script called MyScenario for this interface and odiparams.bat update file *...\agent\bin* file as follows:
  
  Set SECU_DRIVER = weblogic.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
  Set SECU_URL = jdbc:weblogic:sqlserver: / / < servername >: 1433; databaseName = < DatabaseName >
  Set SECU_USER = < user name for master repository >
  Set SECU_PASS = < coded for MasterRepository UserName password >
  Set ODI_USER = SUPERVISOR
  Set ODI_PASS = < coded for the SUPERVISOR password >
  Set WORK_REPOSITORY = < name of the repository to work >
  
  
  Then I created the batch file in which I wrote: *...\agent\bin > startscen MyScenario 001 GLOBAL 5 *.
  
  However the script is not executed with the following error message:
  
  ERROR ODI - 1132 internal Agent encountered a warning: ODI-1414: connection to the internal agent error: a JDBC error occurs when connecting to the master repository. Caused by: org.springframework.jdbc.CannotGetJdbcConnectionException: could not make connection JDBC; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Exception occurred while getting connection: oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: cannot get data source connection: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO error: the network adapter could not establish the connection
  
  I'll be very grateful for any advice!

  The variables for the master repository are:

  ODI_MASTER_DRIVER, etc.

• Unable to regenerate scenario | ODI-26016

  I tried to refresh my existing scripts but I had

  ODI-26016: the requested operation cannot succeed. The object no longer exists.

  Permissions to run the first time RKM

  The RKM must be run once to create packages in SAP. These packages are required for the steps to load data. After a successful run of RKM it is not necessary to rerun the RKM. Permission to run the RKM first mentioned above:

• Not able running Maxl, if ODI Agent is running under &amp; managed by OPMN

  Error thrown when in the execution of Oracle Essbase Interface Inteface using IKM SQL for Hyperion Essbase (DATA) and by calling a MAXL clear script in PRE_LOAD_MAXL_SCRIPT.

  Execution of the Interface is done correctly if the same agent ODI runs directly from the command prompt (using agent.bat). But when we start the agent the instance of OPMN, the following error:

  com.hyperion.odi.essbase.ODIEssbaseException: com.hyperion.odi.essbase.ODIEssbaseException: cannot run the program "essmsh": CreateProcess = 2 error, the system cannot find the file specified

  The agent of ODI running fine and complete any execution of the interface without MAXL. But if we use PRE_LOAD_MAXL_SCRIPT, it generates an error.

  We have already created two environment variables such as ESSBASEPATH and ARBORPATH, also set to day the Path variable. We are able to start maxl using the command "essmsh" directly from the command prompt.

  I would like to know how can we call MAXL scripts through successful ODI agents OPMN.

  All the suggestions/help will be appreciated.

  Hi Ashish,

  Some time ago I saw it, so I forgot a few other env variables that must report in opmn.xml. It also needed a little more env vars the overall environment for OPMN is very limited. You can try the steps Note 1556801.1 as well. If all goes well, that should do the trick.

• Open Interface Adapter running bad scenario

  Hi all

  I modified the adapter to open at loadf interface data in the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table. I tested my procedure which worked very well.

  I modified the package Open Interface balances and inserted the procedure above in steps.

  But when I ran the data rule was running a COMM_LOAD_BALANCES scenario which was not for the interface Opoen.

  I made the game for open interface adapter it was not running the Open Interface package balances at all.

  COMM_LOAD_BALANCES is a common module, executed by FDMEE for each rule data loading.

  Have you configured in FDMEE your source adapter and the system source and import format (script to regenerate), location...?

• Error when creating a scenario - ODI-15018 CKM not selected

  I have and trying to load flat files in a MSSQL data store. Flat files have set the width of the columns and I managed to load a template file into the data store. This table has a primary key Auto Increment.
  
  However, I am trying to use a variable for the name of the file, because there is a lot of files in the folder. I declared the variable and put it in a package with the Interface for loading data. When I try to create a scenario I get the following error: * ODI-15018 CKM not selected *.
  
  I checked the following on my interface:
  
  Flow control is set to FALSE
  I have CKM SQL selected under the control of the Interface section

  You can create the scenario of the ODI procedure and call this scenario using the startscen at the command prompt,
  before that make sure that you odiparams file is updated.

  Below prereuisites are all very well... don't know, this drving crazy me...

  Agent self installed, configured, able to run the same scenario with support only studio agent is going well... but not from command line...

  The variable values for this new environment a probably double-quotes ("") or a special character which is to 'break' the command line. Use this trick ODI to understand all the variables values used in this step and use the values of the test in a procedure separate with just values, not variables:

  I recently started working on ODI and Hyperion Planning.Request your help about the ODI and web services.
  
  We are Member, loads data through ODI and an ODI scenario is created to automate the whole process in 1 thing. Requirement is that, to provide users a user interface well, we plan to use Web services.
  A dropdown/combo with all the scenarios list must appear in the jsp file and user must say run a scenario selection drop-down list.
  
  I am new to ODI and Webservice. I want to call a script using the web service and an Apache Web server with axis 2 deployed. I also copied the file odi-public - ws.aar in the directory of services. Also, I downloaded the ODIinvoke service and create a jsp for the execution of the script, help from Goodwin blogs;

  The error relates to the wrong scenario.
  How I did in the past, it is something like...

  I suppose that one has installed the Apex listener installed under the Apache Tomcat application server. It is not officially supported by Oracle, but it does not work. You start Tomcat by running "startup.bat" in its bin directory on Windows or "startup.sh" under Linux or any other Unix-like operating system. In Windows, it will continue to operate as long as the order of the window is open (but you can minimize) or I believe there is a way to implement a service - I am not a guru of Windows. In * nix, you can add an ampersand to the command to run in the background, or set up to run as a daemon.

  In total, you probably need someone to learn more about how to run Tomcat if the person who got it for you is no longer available. There is a lot of information online - just use Google or Bing.
